Hi all,  We've recently migrated from Virgin to Koodo, and someone else (not me) went to the kiosk to buy the SIM cards. The phones keep saying that SIM card is not supported, and there is no technical assistance number for new customers to call, can someone assist with this issue?Thanks!!

I have two Koodo prepaid and one Koodo monthly number and I would like all three numbers to be on one bill, either Telus or Koodo. What is the best way of doing this? Are there deals or data sharing?

My iphone12 mini keeps disconnecting my wifi at home and when I try to reconnect it keeps telling me I have an incorrect password.  Whereas the password is definitely correct.  I keep having to reset my network settings to reconnect and that doesn’t always work either.  I’ve gone over my data limit for the month because of this!  And I had the same issue with an Iphone 10 that I traded in because of these issues and now the same thing is happening again!  Any help / suggestions would be greatly appreciated.   

For years I have had a bring your own phone plan. I pay $40 for 500mb data, 500 minutes, and unlimited text messaging. I am now looking at changing my plan and I see a prepaid plan for $30 that is 500mb+500mb with automatic top up, and unlimited calling and messaging. This is a better plan for cheaper. I was wondering what the difference was between prepaid plans and a bring your own phone plan, and if there was any downsides to a prepaid vs my regular phone plan. Any help/information would be greatly appreciated.

HI, I have 3 lines on my account and the one keeps saying that i need to check later to manage anything. I need to port 2 numbers soon. How do I change a the name display for the main number? The other two allow me to check the sim number and such.help!

I have just bought a new SIM and I’m trying to replace my old one online.When I type in the 19 digit number I am getting the message:Invalid SIM number; please check the 19-digit number entered I have double checked the number, I am not typing it in wrong.I also went to the activate SIM page and tried there. I get the same message. I bought this SIM from a telus store.

Hi, please advise how did they calculate my account balance $18.65 ?  I just joined the $15 starter plan couple days with no usage as at today, when I click bill details - it said ‘ There are no bills yet for this account.  

Do I get charged when I receive text messages from the Philippines? thank you!

Hi - I just joined the $15 starter Plan (available on line only). I think it’s post paid because I’ll get charge monthly.  I’m confused on the terms.  Please clarify :are incoming call minutes unlimited? Canada wide? are out going call minutes unlimited? Canada wide? are incoming text messages unlimited ?  including pictures/video? are out going text messages unlimited?  including pictures/video? is voice mail free?  if so, how do I set it up?Thank you for your response.

Is there an unlimited data plan available?

I am 5 days into my cycle and I got a text saying I’ve used over 5G. I’ve never used 5 G in a wholemonth before. When I check on self serve it shows that I’m at 6521/10240, but when I click on view details it shows I’ve only used 518.1641 MB. That’s a pretty massive difference. Which one will Koodo use? Will j get overage charges if the first one is wrong or will it use the detailed number? This is my first month with Koodo so I’m not sure if I should be calling them or if someone can help me here. Hello,I received a roaming alert by Koodo. The e-mail stated:Looks like ***-***-3260 is roaming on a USA network. Just so you know! . . . I am in Canada. Someone else would be currently roaming with my phone number in the United States, or somewhere else.How can this unapproved using of my telephone number be ended?I have not activated roaming in my account. I cannot block this kind of third party roaming. I cannot call Koodo in this matter; and I don’t find any assistance online.What can be done?Sincerely,Rene

ive tried factory resetting my router, other devices in the home stable on wifi. tried resetting/powering off phone. reset network settings.i saw advice to reset the cache partition but thats not an option on the phone when i get to recovery mode.does anyone have any advice on how to fix this? trying to do every and all option before factory reset of the phone

I’ve blocked about 7 numbers which is working very well however since then, I’ve had some friends trying to call me and they need to press a one single digit to be able to bypass the blocking feature.  Is this part of the blocking option, because most of them don’t listen to all of the message and hang up without hearing the prompt to enter the single digit number to proceed.  Hope my question is clear enough. then they tell me, “ I tried to call you but your number’s blocked” TY 

I have been having an issue when answering incoming calls from different people, using both landlines and cell phones.  We get a loud set of tones, making it impossible to hear the callers.  Occasionally we do not have this issue, however, it appears to be occurring more often.  Outbound calls do not seem to be affected by this issue.  I have tried a complete reboot of the system, removing the battery and unplugging the unit.  We have a wired phone and a wireless phone attached to the home phone hub and the issues has occurred on both phones.  The home phone hub is getting good reception where it is located.  Looking for any input to rectify this problematic issue.Thank you.

Can I bring my own tablet and add it to my smartphone plan?  I want to add a $15 for 4gb tablet plan but I don’t want to purchase another tablet.

Dear all, I am a new international student trying to setup my first local phone number. After a long search, I have decieded to make Koodo my service provider. However, it seems like it requires a local credit/debit card to do that. But do request a local banking account, they ask me to provide a local contact number…Is there any other way to activate my sim card? I already bought one from Best Buy and have it delivered to me.Thank you!

HiRecently I travelled to Vancouver Bc from Toronto ON.I called my friend in Ontario often, but it charged me as airtime fee.As I know, Airtime is for calling outside of Canada. How come it’s charged this much even though It was within Canada? 

Fee for two phones went up by $1.08 a month beginning in October.  Why the extra charges?
