Second year in a row Koodo auto-charged us after swearing it was a one-time SIM
So this is the SECOND year I've dealt with this exact same garbage.I live overseas. My parent went into a Koodo store, bought me a 30-day-only prepaid SIM, paid on their credit card. The rep looked us both in the eye and said "yep, I checked the only-30-days box, you won't be billed after that." We said thanks and left. Guess what showed up on the card this month? A second charge.Then I go to check the paperwork from that visit and find out my email is typed wrong — so I've been getting zero notifications this whole time. And right at the bottom, in black and white, it says "automatic monthly renewal." The literal opposite of what we were told to our faces.And here's the kicker: last year, when this same thing happened, Koodo customer care told me not to even touch my own SIM — don't make a call, don't send a text, nothing — because apparently just using it for a second can trigger ANOTHER auto-renewal charge. So now I've got a wrong email AND a phone number I'm too scared to use.So my
