Hi, there First,  I’m not in Canada right now. but I didn’t roam or stop using the phone when I come back to Canada.Also, I’m paying the bill as well.When I Came to outside Canada I took sim out from my cell phone cause of roaming automatically.Today, I need to get some my bank code number from text, so I put sim card into the cell phone.But sim is not working “ NO SIM”      I don’t know what happen?Could you tell me why sim card is die? I’d like to transfer my number from Bell to Koodo. But my service plan with Bell has expired and I currently cannot receive SMS. In this situation, how would I transfer my number from Bell if I would never receive the confirmation SMS from Bell?Very much appreciate any help!

Hi. I just got on with koodo because of their $40 promo. Bring in your own phone and get 20 gigs of data at $40 bucks a month. First month, i had 20 gigs as promised, buty second cycle with koodo, my cycle started today and i went to look at the usage and noticed I only have 15gigs instead of the promised 20. Am I reading this right? Any help would be appreciated!Thanks koodo community. 

I just want to change the hardware from my existing phone to another one I have. Is it as simple as swap sim cards and restore from backup on the new device? Battery is poor on current one.will be iphone 8 > iphone 8 plusThanks!

When o log into self serve to check my usage the phone number called for every call is the same but this is not the case. How do I fix this??

I set up my account and transferred my number to Koodo 5 days ago. While transferring my number, I had a temporary number from Koodo for about a day. It took 2 attempts to transfer the number. However since then, some of my contacts see the number I transferred over and others still see the temporary Koodo number. What is going on? Thank you.

I just now see that my account has an add-on "$0 1000min International LD Add-on Free".Does it mean that I can call to those countries up to 1000 minutes free of charge?Thanks.

Hi Koodo Community,I was wondering if Koodo Plans recently stopped offering Personal Hotspot? Up until a couple weeks ago I used my Hotspot nearly daily. I recently swapped my physical SIM for an eSIM (I have an iPhone) and since i did that - Hotspot does not work. It connects via wifi or cable - give me an IP address - but websites cannot be resolved. I visited a Telus store just now, and did another SIM replacement for a new eSIM - and I was then told by the rep in store that Koodo plans no longer support Personal Hotspot?The rep then tried upselling to a Telus plan, but I want to confirm that Koodo plans do not support Personal Hotspot?  Edit: I’m getting a self-assigned 169.blah blah IP now. I’ve also reset my iPhone’s network settings - but this didn’t work. 

I’ve been overcharged by $5 for an extra data charge on June 15th. I did not request that extra data. I did request extra data (100 mb) on June 11th which I received but I did NOT request extra data on June 15h, though I have been charged for this. - Michael Maser

I had scheduled two call backs tonight, no one called for the first one, and the second one just kept ringing. What is even the point of a call back?

Hello , I have been charged for three days of Easy Roam.I did not activate easy roam upon leaving the country.I have only ever used Easy Roam, on a day to day basis, by sending an SMS reply to Koodo system directly. I have been with Koodo for a long time (2011) and have always appreciated this layer of protection against unwarranted roaming charges. How do I go about getting credited for the 42$ in charges that were not requested?  Thanks, Ben. 

I selected a 100 mb top up for one of the users on my account. He received a notification that he had used up all of it within a day or so. We selected another top up of 1GB. I received two emails - one saying the 1GB  top up was added, and then another email immediately after saying the 1 GB was removed (huh?). He then received a text saying he was at 50% of his 100 mb top up. Was there a second 100 mb top up added? This is not what we selected. I can’t tell what’s going on by looking at our usage and billing in self serve. I don’t see the top up amounts anywhere in our billing. On the usage page, it says he’s at .2 GB over his max, so I’m assuming that means he had two 100 mb top ups added? That is not what we added (as is evidenced by the emails I received saying I had picked 1GB). 

Hi there, I am new to Koodo and I was sure I have 20GB of data with my monthly plan. My phone itself says I have used 5.63GB thus far and the online account says 2.5GB of usage. I got an alert that I have exceeded my monthly allowance of data and I am unbelievably confused and worried about being overcharged. Please help. 

Im interested in buying a samsung A53 but currently says they arent available. Does anyone know if they get stock in frequently?

I have switched over to koodo. When i try and call a family member who is also on Koodo the call goes through but you cannot hear anything on either phone.  If I call from a non koodo network or landline there is no issue only when I call another koodo customer.  I switched out the SIM card but it did not fix the problem.  Suggestions?

Hello,  I have stream + and can not activate it. When I go to the mobile services tab in self-service  then scroll down to stream + where I would activate my accounts it states ‘ this serve is unavailable’ so I am unable to use it. What should I do?

Hi, after experiencing major frustration with many different answers from call back agents and some well meaning but conflicting information here on the Community pages, I have another question about USA voice roaming with PrePaid boosters.Is anyone currently in the USA able to use their voice booster now? I just noticed that my Koodo sim card is now IMS-Registered with Mobile Voice Network Type - LTE and Mobile Data Network Type - LTE. So, I interpret that as I am now VoLTE activated (and yes, I have VoLTE toggled on).So, theoretically, now that my phone is VoLTE enabled, I should be able to voice roam in USA? I ask, because my Canadian boosters are starting to run low so prefer to buy annual plan. But, if I’m going to have trouble again with US voice roaming, then I will move to another carrier. I’ve been with Koodo 8 years, and despite frustration early this year, have been a very happy customer. So,  can anyone who is PrePaid and using USA voice roaming booster able to give us an u

Honestly, I don’t usually need to talk to a person. But when it comes to billing issues why isn’t this an option? I’ll never recomment Koodo to anyone, no matter how cheap it is. I didn’t realize it was this much of an issue to get something resolved. Yes, 90% of stuff can be handled online. But I am not a robot and do not want to communicate with a robot!If I’ve been overbilled how do I resolve this? I cannot schedule a callback because the earliest available is this weekend which I do not have time for. I had time TODAY to talk to someone to get this resolved but apparently that’s not an option. Telus has always had garbage customer service.
