Unable to receive calls and text after moving to Koodo

I recently transfered my phone number from another provider to Koodo. I have followed the steps given here. It has been several days and, while my phone number has succesfully been transfered, I am unable to receive text messages. Strangely the exception to this is that if I send a text message to someone myself, I am able to receive their reply. What should I do to get this problem fixed? Some more information that you may find relevant:-I can send text messages and phone calls just fine. I can also use my mobile data with no problem. The only problem is what I described above.-I recently tried switching my sim card back to my old one momentarily, and when I did that, the text messages sent to me which I  had missed have shown up. It’s as if the text messages are still sent to me through my old provider.-I tried resolving the issue using the Koodo digital assistant, which led me to checking that my APN setting match the ones on this page. They do match and that hasn’t resolved the iss

Easy Roam

I traveled to the USA Oct  9 and used Roam for that day. Returned to Canada Oct 16.I was charged for that 1 day on my Oct bill which was correct and paid.I was again charged for Roam on my Nov bill.I do not live near the USA border.

Earlier this year I was told that buying a newer phone would remove this charge.  I have bought a new Moto g54  5G phone a while ago but I’m still being charged. What gives?

downgrading a plan

Why are certain plans only available to new customers? If I had known this prior to choosing my plan I would've chosen a different one knowing I could upgrade but not downgrade. It seems like a bit of a scam/money grab to me. The current plan I have is much more data then I could ever use but there are no other options that are cheaper with low/no data unless you are a new customer. Any recommendations for other phone providers?

Can not send texts (SMS) from Portugal dispite payment $50 for 14 days of service.

I receive texts but can not send despite paying for the International roaming for 14 days ($50). I am putting the country code of +1 in. Help, I need to do business back home. I tried to call as well but just a bunch of Portuguese error message. Expensive for something that doesn't work. Waste of $50??

Dear Koodo Support Team,I recently switched to Koodo and have a few questions regarding my account:I attempted to transfer my old phone number to my new plan, but the process didn't go through. It said my IMEI number wasn’t correct. Could you guide me on how to resolve this? I just received my SIM card today, and I noticed that my bill is due on December 2. Terrible Sales Represenatives

I received a call from one of the representatives, offering me an upgrade on my phone and price change in my plan. I told her I do not want to upgrade my phone. She then offered me a plan with a lower rate. I was initially paying $60 per month and she offered me $50 per month. I told her probably three times I did not want my plan to change such as unlimited text, unlimited call, call display, voicemail, 70 GB of data and 5G network. She proceeded to tell me that NOTHING on my plan was going to change. It is all the same. Upon going on my account it showed I was paying $50 per month with 4G network, no mention of call display and a bunch of weird things I don't know anything about. I called the service again and spoke with another sales representative. I was on the phone with her for quite some time and she told me that the plan I was asking for does not exist. I don't know if this is just a cash grab for them. I understand it is their job to sell, but to sell me a fraudulent plan that

Certified Pre Owned Iphones condition

Hi,I have a question about getting a preowned phone plan from Koodo. Koodo is offering me $250 device credit when I upgrade to a new phone. The certified pre-owned iPhone 13 Pro in “very good” condition is getting my attention.But I want to know how good the “very good” condition is going to be. It says on the website, “Very Good: Apart from a few small bumps and scratches, these are perfectly good devices that won’t let you down.” So are we talking scratches that can be visible to anyone or dents that make the phone look bad? My current phone is an iPhone 8. Any phone at this point will be an update for me. Anyone who has bought a pre-owned from Koodo or has had a “very good” or “good” condition phone from them, please let me know. Also, I can choose between the “good” and “very good” conditions between the two. 1)  It’s impossible to reach a real person through customer service; the AI experience in Koodo chat sucks! I keep getting stuck in an endless loop of repetitive questions.2)  I live in NW Evanston, and I can never get a stable network connection in the area.3) Earlier on October 2nd, I received a text message saying that all my data had been used up. However, I have a 60GB data plan—how could it be used up in just two days? It's simply a joke. On the second day, I needed to take an important call, so I was forced to purchase an additional 1GB of data for $29.4) A few days later, I received a notification explaining that this issue was due to a Koodo service outage, and they promised to refund all extra data purchases. Is my data blocked after I reach my purchased limit?

Looking to add a new limit for my child. Likely the 3GB data limit line (have my own phone) I don’t have the time or ability to monitor my child’s data limits or receive alerts etc. All I want to ensure is when he/she uses 3GB of data, it stops, and I will not incur any additional fees. can anyone confirm this?

Koodo, secretly charging for Amazon Prime for no reason

Koodo added two (two!) charges of Amazon Prime to my account without asking. Never once have I used Amazon Prime in my life. I decided to stop using normal Amazon completely like 10 years ago because they are evil and immoral and Koodo decides it’s justified to start stealing money on behalf of an evil company? For real have never considered switching phone companies faster, my blood is boiling. What a sham of a company. Shame.

Unable to cancel stream+basic subscription

Hi, when I try to cancel stream+basic subscription from manage plans, I keep getting error as belowI tried different browsers (Chrome, safari, firefox), clearing cache, cookies, incognito and everything but keep getting same error everytime I try to do so.

Can’t Choose a perk

I tried a few times to change 2 of my plans but every time I continue after choosing a perk, I always get the error message (see attached photo). I have been trying to change these plans for months and it’s the same issue every time. This was not the case in the past. I was able to change plans within seconds, but now it’s impossible to do it. Can someone please tell me why this keeps happening?

Just like the topic, clicked “finish registration”, it took me to a blank page that says “Hang on a sec...” and nothing ever loads.Tried other browser, same. Koodo Assist can’t help anything unfortunately.Please help me with this issue. Thank you.

Having addons that I can't remove

My current plan says I have $10 of add-ons. But when I click manage add-ons, there is no $10 add-on to remove. Only $0 add-ons appear. How do I get rid of this $10 ghost add-on? Thanks in advance!

Promo not available right after receiving it

Hi, I'm on a prepaid plan and received a text with a promo offer of 12gb for 25$ if I switched to monthly.I called not even an hour later and the rep said it wasn't available and tried to sell me on a more expensive plan. When I asked how it could be unavailable just an hour later she said it was just a mistake. Seems like a scam to upsell.
