my conenction fee has not been refunded, now going into 4th cycle.


Hello, and thank you for your help. 

 

I am now going into the 4th cycle with Koodo, and my connection fee ( that I set up with an agent over the phone), still has not been waived as promised. When I set up my my new plan with koodo, the gentleman said they will give me a discount of 10 dollars a month for 7 months, and refund the connection  fee.

 

Can someone please help me as to how to get my fee refunded?

Hi ​@momo15, the connection fee refund credit of $10/month for 7 months has already been added to your account. You can find it on your past 3 bills under ‘Conn. Fee mthly Promo (before tax)* -$10.00’.

You will receive the credit on 4 more bills, with the last instance reflected on your July bill.

Thank you fornyour response Georgia. I see now this on the bill.

 

This was not however what the agent said when he called on Dec. 13th and convinced me to transfer to koodo.  He said there would be a 10 dollar credit x 7 months AND the connection fee would be refunded. 

Also regrettably because koodo (along with my previous provider) had this same plan  for 34 dollars at that time (which is cheaper than my plan now), but I decided to forego this thinking there is a 10 dollar monthly credit. 

Anyhow, I am not sure if this 70 dollars will get refunded, but only fair if not then to match the 34 dollar plan that was offered when I accepted this offer.

We’ve checked the activation note and the agent offered a $10/month credit for 7 months as a connection fee refund. There was no other promotion offering a $10/month credit.

My plan right now is 39 dollars. There was a 34 dollar plan when I joined koodo, which apparently is no longer available. 

 

And the gentleman did tell me there would be a 10 dollar discount on my plan and my connection fee would be refunded. That was his selling point. (At no Point did he tell me my connection fee would be would be refunded in 7 installments and my plan is even more ecpensive than the one advertised on the website. Is this a serious practice at koodo? There would have been no point in me paying a 70 dollar connection fee and keeping the same plan and cost, just to have it refunded 7 months later. 

 

Anyhow, this is very suspect. But thank you for your time.
