Koodo home internet

Can someone advise on how to control devices connected on my Koodo Internet WiFi? i.e. disconnect any devices from guest WiFi, active or inactive.  I'm asking this question as currently I have home internet from Rogers and I have this application called Ignite Home Connect which allows me to disconnect internet from my children's phones and limit their connection time to internet.Is there anyway similar when I move to Koodo Home Internet? TIA

I am switching from bell Fibe internet to koodo but my coax cable is different and the cable doesn’t plug in what should I do ? I think I need a technician

Internet will not work, customer service is useless. Someone please help

I was sent a self install kit for my new Koodo internet and it doesn’t work. I think the coaxial cable in my house needs to be fixed and I’ve tried to call customer support numerous times in the last 6 days and nobody seems to want to help me. I’ve been transferred to so many people and all I need is a tech visit to fix this cable. I tried using the online chat and every time I try to schedule a callback it tells me the agents are busy.  I don’t want to cancel the internet but it seems like I might have to. Someone please help, I’m so frustrated.

Why am I being charged $21 to replace a sim card? Ridiculous

So I recently lost my sim card while travelling. I asked my mom to go buy the sim card and ship it to me because Koodoo wouldn’t. They wouldn’t even activate it at the store because I’m not there (I can understand). So why am I charged $21 to get a replacement sim? Cost associated with getting a new sim is understandable but even then, it shouldn’t be over $10. But to charge $21 for a sim card with a $34 plan when no service is provided is absolutely ridiculous. Especially when Canada already charges you ridiculous amount of money on terrible plans. I travel a lot and have yet to come across a more expensive and inferior plans anywhere else. Only reason I keep this number is for work and CRA.

Stream+ Unmanageable

Last night I discovered that Netflix basic does not allow me to cast content to my projector. I logged in to Koodo to upgrade my package from Stream+ Basic to Premium.Self serve menu does not allow me to do this. There is not an upgrade option anywhere. The menu takes me in useless circles. If I try to select the premium package it tells me I already have it. If I try to manage my subscription the only option it gives me is to cancel. If I cancel the only option moving forward is to renew my basic subscription, it will not allow me to select the premium package. I tried on both mobile and desktop browser.The Koodo support chat is totally useless and just kept trying to send me back to ‘manage my subscription’. I had to wait until next day to receive a call back from customer support. He was not able to help me and I spent an hour on hold only to find that he had connected me to an unrelated department. I have yet to arrive at a solution and I am very frustrated. Porting From Speakout Issues

I am attempting to port my sons number over from Speakout to Koodo.  We made the unfortunate mistake of attempting to use the IMEI number in the self server set up but have since learned that Speakout to Koodo porting seems to only work when using the account number and PIN option.Unfortunately, we can’t seem to ‘restart’ the port process.  We have been in contact with both Speakout and Koodo support on multiple occasions.  Both can see that multiple port requests have been made.  Speakout insists that Koodo is doing it incorrectly and Koodo insists they are doing it right. FWIW Speakout says that the account # and PIN are required and Koodo keeps trying to do it with just the account number.At this point I’d just like to have koodo resend the a new port request link so we can try the port ourselves with the account number and PIN.   Has anyone experienced this before.  Can Koodo not do this.  When we click on the previous link it just say port in progress.   Any help or suggestions wo

Charged Twice When Changed Mobile Postpaid Plan?

I am a self-serve post paid customer with a billing cycle that ends on the 13th.  I just changed my plan and was refunded the rest of this cycle’s old plan from April 5 - 13 then I was charge for the rest of the billing cycle for the new plan for the same time period.  I then have another charge that is from March 14 - April 13th that is the full amount of the new plan.  So, no only was I charged for the new plan from April 5 - 13, but it seems that I was then charged it again for March 14 - April 13.  I would understand if the second charge was from April 14 - May 13 but the way it’s done doesn’t make sense to me.Is someone able to explain this? Thanks!

Can I Activate several months later with Stream+ ?

Hi, I just signed up for Stream+ Basic that comes with Disney+ Basic with ads.  I have an existing Disney+ Premium subscription that is paid up until July 2024 so I would like to continue using this and then cancel at that time.Does the Koodo Stream+ Activation method for these services expire after a certain time; ie will I still be able to activate Disney+ Basic in July?

I keep getting "Make sure to input the correct number" when trying to transfer my phone number

I’m transferring from Public Mobile and I keep getting the above error when I enter in either my account # OR my IMEI #. I’ve searched for articles on this site, but they all seem unanswered.  I’ve tried using only the 9 digits, but it’s all numerical so I don’t think that advice was meant to work for me anyways.  Any help you can provide on this would be greatly appreciated.

Internet Issue

I placed the order for Koodo home internet on March 2nd. I received the brand new modem and router, and my service activated on March 11th. However, it only worked for 2 days before stopping. A technician came on March 14th, changed the cable, and the service restarted working for 8 days. Unfortunately, it stopped working again since that day until today. Another technician came today and said the modem must be changed. Since March 11th, two weeks ago, until now, it hasn't been working for almost one week! I have paid for the service but couldn't use it. I tried to call them, but there is no phone number available. I scheduled a callback, but there has been no response. I need the internet service I paid for, but I can't use it, and I don't know how or when I can use it!

Koodo says that unlimited data at reduced speeds is available with a Koodo 5G plan or add-on option, but I don’t see add-ons for unlimited data. How can I get it without changing my plan?

Unjustified Roaming Charges

Hi, my wife was charged twice for US roaming charges when she did not enter the US. There are two $10 charges that are not accurate. There is a $1.60 charge that is accurate. Can someone remove the charges? Her phone is under my account.

Does anyone know if I can setup a fax line on the Koodo offered home internet service??  What is involved ,  do I need another provider on top of the internet to do this ?Thanks

Koodo Internet Callback

I’m trying to reach out to Koodo representative in order to reschedule my activation date for the past 2-3 days. I’ve been scheduled callback with Koodo Assisst and it kept telling me that somebody will call me back within 15 mins however I didn’t receive any calls from anybody. My phone is not in Do Not disturb mode neither the Koodo phone number blocked. I have been trying again today but same things happened. What is going on with the Call back Centre ? I need help I already have all my equipment set up but no internet to use

Would Koodo allow phone lines to use EXT all the time, but only if they're like using Wi-Fi mostly, and not EXT?

Does Koodo allow ext to be used often when most phone actions are done on Wi-Fi?

paying monthly for a tablet i don't want

is there any way to return or atleast cancel a plan for a tablet?, I'm paying monthly for the bonus balance, i don't pay anything for it monthly apart from the bonus balance but i never use it and it has its own phone number, is there any way to end the contract, even if i have to return it I'm ok with that, i just don't want to pay for something I'm not using

Can't cancel my internet subscription

I signed up for an internet subscription 24 hours ago. I decided that same day to stay with my previous provided when they offered me a discount. I can’t cancel the subscription. I scheduled a callback and was told that I can only cancel it online, but the option to cancel does not show up and it says the order is being processed. The rep on the phone said his system shows that the order had been fully processed and I should be able to cancel. Told me to wait until the morning and try again. It’s now 24 hours later, still no option to cancel, and I’ve been waiting 7 hours for a callback, including one call back that automatically put me on hold for 1 hour and no-one ever answered. Is there any way to actually reach customer service to solve this?

I lost my cell in Indonesia, I bought new phone here and got a friend to get me Kodoo eSIM in canada, when I go to regisiter it online it says it needs to send me a verification code via email. I keep trying but never received the code in my email. I despertly need to activate this new eSim to my old phone number, any Ideas???
