Phone Not Charging

Hello as the title says i cant charge my phone. it started yesterday, it was fine charging all day until the last time i tried charging it. at first nothing was happening at all no charging notifications or anything, a couple attempts later and i was getting moister in port and it would do that off and on. i use a fast charging block and c to c cord. i attempted switching blocks and cords of different combos but i got a different error, a symbol at the bottom popped up other then moister in port it was a electric bolt and usb cord. that's where I'm stuck now. i really don't want to have to get a new phone i still have like 300 on the tab. any info would be great TIA.

Transferring over new number

Hi, I am following the steps to move my old number over to my new Kodoo account. I have my IMEI number and my account number from my previous phone account. I have entered in both of them (at separate times) and both times the website is telling me “ Make sure to input correct number”. The numbers are the correct numbers, but it’s not letting me use them. Help please????

esim activation abroad and deactivate koodo sim without removing airplane mode

Hi I am currently in Argentina and cant access my sim or esim from the Manage Sim menu of my samsung S24. When I bought this new phone in November 24, I asked the question if It was unlocked and could use anywhere wih Koodo. The answer was yes both for my phone and Koodo. I am now in Argentina and can not activate my Esim because the manage sim menu is greyed out and not accessible. Any one had that problem before?

Paid in Full, $0 Balance But Koodo Still Ruining My Credit – What Can I Do?

Koodo’s Negligence is Destroying My Credit Score – No Help, No Support! Hi everyone, I am beyond frustrated with Koodo and their reckless handling of my credit report. Despite settling my balance in full months ago, Koodo is STILL wrongfully reporting me as a defaulter and tanking my credit score. Here’s what happened: 1. My Account Was Fully Paid in August 2024 • I settled my balance in full, with interest, on August 23, 2024. • I received official release letters from two third-party collection agencies confirming that my account was closed. • There is NO balance due – I owe Koodo $0 yet they continue to report missed payments. 2. Koodo Is STILL Wrongfully Reporting Me to Credit Bureaus • Despite my zero-dollar balance , Koodo is STILL reporting me as a defaulter , showing my account as “In Collections/Charge-Off.” • This is illegal and negligent – my credit score keeps dropping because of their failure to report accurate information. 3. Issue Viewing Bills on Koodo Account

Since November, I have been unable to view my bill. Whenever I try, I am redirected to a page that says, "This service is unavailable right now. Please try again later." I’ve attached a screenshot for reference. I have already attempted to resolve this issue through the Koodo Assist chatbot but haven’t received any response or solution. Does anyone know how to resolve this issue?

Wrongfully charged for easy roam while cell data turned off, request refund

I was charged for easy roam while I was in the US. On a few of the days during the trip I made use of my phone, but on other days I had cell data turned off precisely to avoid being charged this fee. I logged no calls or text messages (except while using wifi), and this charge was applied to my account incorrectly according to the policy stated on your own help pages.

Can't receive incoming calls and text messages after transferring from Fido to Koodo

Yesterday Telus team came to my building and offered me a good deal on internet of I switch my telecom provider from Fido to Koodo. So I agreed and they did the transfer process. I got an SMS from Fido asking for confirmation to transfer and I reply YES immediately. And then I removed Fido SIM and inserted the new Koodo SIM. Outgoing calls work but incoming calls and SMS don’t work. I asked people with different provider to call me and their calls directly go to the voicemail. I tried to chat with Koodo assist and it has scheduled a callback but since I’m not receiving incoming calls, Koodo representative won’t be able to call me. How to resolve this issue now since there is no way to directly call them.

Incorrect Easy Roam Charges

Hello, I was charged for 3 days of easy roam on my minutes. I was never in the US, we vacationed at a town near the boarder (Rossland) and received notifications that we were roaming despite not being in a different country. Please correct my bill. Thanks.

Bugging for a phone - Motorola

Hi, Currently on Koodoo with a paid off phone. I'm sort of waiting on Koodoo to release the newest Motolora. I have my eye on the Motorola Edge 50 1tb. - a new release. Do I have to buy it from an online retailer and bring it in, or will Koodoo eventually back the phone? Regards, Darren

Issues with Koodo billing

Hello, I am having several issues with Koodo and unable to get a human to respond to me. I have schedule two call back phone calls, both of which were late and then they called back and I answered there was hold music for about 30 secs and then it was silent for 20 mins as I waited for someone to pick up or connect and eventually had to hang up both times. How do you get a human to respond to you at Koodo? Do they always charge you for speaking to a human, even if it is Koodo’s error? I only switched to Koodo because I was told I would save money and my monthly bill would be cheaper than with Fido do to two monthly discounts: -$5 for auto-payments and -$5 for being a Telus customer. The -$5 for auto-payments has been activated but I am not received the -$5 for being a Telus internet customer and I was told I would for 24 months. I cannot activate my Telus movie/streaming account either. Koodo has zero customer service and now I am stuck paying more fore services than I was promised and

Adding a business line to my current phone

Hello, I see from my searches here that it is possible to have two phone lines on the same phone using the eSIM card. This might be something that would solve some problems for me. But I am wondering two things: Is it possible to have the second line set up so that a business name would show up on people’s Caller ID? My calls to customers often get missed because they don’t recognize the number Is is possible to have the business line billed separately from my main account so I could get my employer to cover that cost? Thanks for any help you can offer!

easy roam charges

We recently had a trip to the USA and returned home to see multiple roaming charges. It appears from the bill that we received or made phone calls to trigger the charges, out of the dozen or charges I could find two calls that line up with date and times. There were multiple charges one my wife’s phone whee she didn’t make calls those days at all. Not only did she not make calls on those days but the times involved were past 1am when we were sleeping. how do we go about having these charges investigated?

I just recently switched carriers (Koodo to freedom) and now want to come back to Koodo. It looks like my account is not yet deactivated — still shows active online. How can I do this? Will I have to go into a Telus/Koodo store?

Reactivating same phone number after 5 months

Hi, I had a phone number and plan with Koodoo but cancelled my plan back in October as I moved back home (overseas). My CRA account is connected to this number and I therefore cannot log in (to do my taxes) because I cannot receive the one time passcode. Is it possible to reactivate my account with the same phone number??? Thanks!

new phone plans (3 lines)

I created a new account and added 3 lines and they said over the phone they would mail me the three SIM cards in a week. on my self serve account, I cannot see any lines and only see the stream+ service I got. Will it take a few days to see the phone lines? I’m a little confused.

Easy Roaming

I have been billed extra charges for roaming specifically easy roaming $14 I never requested this and I never used my phone while I was in the USA except Wi-Fi and the roaming on my phone was off while I was in the USA. This is unfair practice to treat a long time loyal customer. Please remove these unfair charges from my bill or I will take my business somewhere else. Looking forward to hearing from you. Another prepaid password reset failure :)

Hi there – I don’t know if you prefer we open separate threads for this issue or add to someone else’s, but... I’m yet another Koodo prepaid customer reporting an inability to reset my password following the forced password update. Two days ago, I was getting a message that my password didn’t meet your requirements. (This error was incorrect, as my password did indeed meet all the requirements. I use a random password generator and verified during each of my dozen or so attempts that the requirements were met.) So I gave up and decided to try again another time. Yesterday and today, there is some improvement – I no longer get the error message about not meeting the requirements, but now there’s a new error: We are unable to process your request at the moment Eagerly awaiting a fix for this, along with everyone else :) Step 1 - enter password that meets the requirements (the pw is never accepted by the system, soI’m not sharing anything sensitive here) Step 2 - submit password

Hello Koodo Community, I’ve been a loyal Koodo customer for years, and I’m extremely disappointed to find unexpected charges on my account, as well as my daughters’ accounts. I am reaching out to request a refund for charges that I believe were applied unfairly and have now resulted in further financial strain. Wrongful Roaming Charge (Easy Roam) – $15 Per Account While traveling, I used a local SIM card to avoid roaming fees. However, I was still charged for Easy Roam, despite not using my Koodo SIM for calls, texts, or data. I know that similar cases have been reviewed and refunded before, so I expect the same fair resolution for myself and my daughters. Uninformed Rate Plan Change Fee – $15 Per Account I recently changed my rate plan and was unexpectedly charged a $15 fee. At no point was I informed that this charge would apply.
