Question about Roaming charges

Hi GANG,  


So I log in, I get a bunch of ads and crap about upgrading and all kinds of crap on the screen about deals and Netflix and junk.  Lovely, piss off, that’s not why I’m here.,,,,,,,,, anyway …….


So the warden (wife) has gone to Amerika for two weeks – she’s now roaming with the doo-dad:

Some Easy Roam thing is on the account, dandy – where’s the charges for right now?  
Not a month after she gets back – totals on the go, as she’s there, right now?

 

Also, what the heck is this line on the bill as of today?

Is it one time $14 bucks to go to Amerika or every time she uses the cell phone?

Yes, ads and upsells and such.

Those are the add-ons that enable roaming with easy roam charge options, yes.

Well...you go on to report finding where the charges are as the usage comes in being reported, so that’s where you’ll see it.

The first usage that kicks in roaming, whether it’s making or receiving a phone call, an outgoing SMS, or data usage, will trigger an easy roam charge. Which lets you use your plan in Canada as in the country you’re in. The charge in the US is $14 per day, and resets at midnight, local time. The maximum per billing cycle is $350, or 25 days in a billing cycle. It gets expensive.

At the moment there is an easy roam pass, where you get charged (regular $55) currently $40 for 7 days of usage:

Just add it, and if you use it within 30 days, you get charged the $40 dollars and have 7 days of usage.

From the screenshot, your wife made/received call in US while traveling there? if so, you would have to pay roaming fee (easyroam as you had the add-on) in account.

The add-on itself is free when you are residing in Canada. However, when you used the roaming service, you would have to pay roaming fee. More information can be found here https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/easy-roam?

Yep, I just found it  - thanks guys !!

$14.00/day is $98.00 for the week and the roaming passes she can get are only $40 for the week.

North American cell rates are such bullshit !!
