Question

Phone Not Charging

Hello as the title says i cant charge my phone. it started yesterday, it was fine charging all day until the  last time i tried charging it. at first nothing was happening at all no charging notifications or anything, a couple attempts later and i was getting moister in port and it would do that off and on. i use a fast charging block and c to c cord. i attempted switching blocks and cords of different combos but i got a different error, a symbol at the bottom popped up other then moister in port it was a electric bolt and usb cord. that's where I'm stuck now. i really don't want to have to get a new phone i still have like 300 on the tab. any info would be great TIA.

Hi @MDM-Darkness

We are sorry to hear you are having trouble with your phone.

If the phone is still within the manufacturer warranty, we recommend visiting a Koodo Store nearby or a Mobile Klinik location, more details about the repair process can be found here https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/warranty-and-repair-policy

@MDM-Darkness

You can check the agreement in self serve https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/viewing-and-downloading-your-customer-service-agreements-csa

If it’s about the last phone purchased on your account, we see the date was March 20 2024

Hi there,

What device do you have? As alternatively to using the cord to charge the phone, if it is capable of wireless charging you could also go that route if repair isn't an option.

If you saw the warning message saying there was moisture in the port, I recommend you turn off  the phone and leave it in a dry place for at least half a day for the water (if any) to dry out. The issue might be from the USB port itself
