Question

Rural Route Adress

The Koodo system will not accept my Rural Route address. I need help getting the system to accept it. The current address in my account is wrong. Adding a  street address will not work as my mail goes to a big box on the side of the Hwy 5 km from my home on a rural road. All of my other mail goes to this address and even my old Telus bill went there.

Did this help you find an answer to your question?

Are you a currently a Koodo customer or someone who tried to activate a Koodo account?

Koodo is using Canada Post to validate address in their system. If Canada post can’t validate it, your address might not be accepted. You might need a rep to fix it manually though.

Hi @Dave Dalton

We can definitely look into that for you. Unfortunately we could not authenticate the account through the log in method used here. You can log out of the Community and when you log back in, you can use the Self Serve option as shown in the following picture:

Let us know when it is completed.

The self serve option does not work because it will not accept my address and will not show my address in the drop down.  I logged out and back in looks the same.

Canada Post assigns box address to rural customers that do not have anything tondo with the actual address and then we have to suffer the headaches when trying to fill out computer forms for addresses. We have dealt with this for years and Canada Post will do nothing to fix the problem.

I believe the rep asked you to sign in with your current Koodo credential in this forum, so Koodo can find your account and they would help you out.
