Hey there, I am currently looking into switching from my LG Velvet to a CPO Iphone 11. I was looking into a phone with the quality GREAT on it. Just wondering what kind of condition do these come in? I don’t want a broken screen or a chunk taken out of the back of the phone. Are the CPO phones even worth it?
Edit: *Typo in title* Can’t Edit* Wrote this out of so much anger and frustration that I forgot to double check* My rant starts below:Please take a look at this before getting a Certified Pre-Owned iPhones. How Koodo contradicts their own policies:They admit that they can’t guarantee all the parts will be genuine. But they claim CPO iPhones will perform the way its meant to be:With iPhones if non genuine part is used then it doesn’t perform the way it should! Example:iPhone would complain “not functioning as expected” because it’s a fake displayHere notice True Tone is Missing and it’s not a Retina display either (i.e. not OLED). it’s cheap LCD screen. Conclusion: Koodo doesn’t ensure everything works the way it’s meant to.Hope this helps anyone who is considering to get a Certified Pre-Owned iPhone. Save yourself the trouble. Even though they agreed to send an exchange but they won’t guarantee all parts will be genuine. So it’s a hit or miss. But they don’t consider this when settin
I bought a pre-owned iphone12 pro on Koodo website. After 2 weeks of normal usage, I realize that the battery really don’t last long. Within less than 10 hours, the battery is under 10%. Is it warranty?
I purchased a certified pre-owned phone online and it arrived with an issue with the microphone (people I called would say I was breaking up) so I returned it to Koodo using their shipping label and the box it came in. A couple of weeks later I noticed I still had a charge for the phone on my account so I called Koodo who told me it was received but couldn't tell me why the charge wasn't reversed. A day or two later, I received the phone in the mail and the whole screen was smashed! I've gone into the Telus store and spoken to phone reps and so far all they tell me is that because I didn't take a picture of the phone before I sent it back that I have to pay for the cost of the whole phone. Is there anything I can do here? The phone body was in perfect condition when I returned it! I feel like this is a scam! Any advice would be appreciated!
I just ordered a SIM card and in the confirmation email it said I am being verified. How long does that exactly take and what is being verified? (Just out of interest)
TCL 20s won't charge unless charger is held in tight. Koodo won't bother to help because it's over 1yr old. Took a repair store to be looked at they took phone apart and they don't even know what's wrong with it as nothing is broken inside the phone. Any ideas or anyone have same problem???
Why was my wifi calling disconnected ? I can't turn it on without that link.
Just started this last week, started using Koodo in September. A friend tried calling and the calls didn’t connect or went straight to voicemail. Hadn’t changed the settings and voicemail is disabled as per the instructions and set for max rings. Managed to arranged for call back - sat and watched the phone, they tried 3 times and it never rang and I didn't have a chance to answer it as it must have gone right to voicemail. This has happened with phones from other cell phones and from landlines. Its very important we have a phone for calls to the doctor as my husband has Parkinsons Disease and we have regular phone check ups scheduled.
I am trying to schedule a call back so I called the Koodo customer support number. They sent me a text sending me a link to Koodo Assist. That link doesn’t work - the page doesn’t load. I’ve tried it both on my laptop and phone. I tried to access Koodo Assist via the website as well and the page does not load that way either. If a customer service person could contact me to arrange a callback, I would very much appreciate it. Thank you, Mike Britton
Wifi calling stopped working Volte was previously activated (may need to be done again?) and restarting the phone does not fix the problem.
Hello, I recently switched from sasktel to koodo. Since the switch i cant receive gov of canada 2 factor authentication texts. I reset the clocks and both computer and phone. Apparently koodo might have the number blocked? any idea how to fix this? Thanks!
Hi,I just ported my number over to koodo and my WiFi calling can not active from my phone setting even though each time when I tried to enable it I was then redirected to Koodo’s website to complete a 2FA then confirm my address. After being redirected back to the phone setting the WiF i calling is still disabled as the service request eventually timed out.My phone model is Samsung S22 UltraCould I get some help please?
I have a monthly plan for wireless home phone. According to website, VoLTE should be accessible to monthly customers. The wireless modem is the standard one: ZTE WF723CA. According to datasheet, modem support VoLTE. According to datasheet, when signal color is green, the device is on LTE and when signal color is orange, device is on UMTS. On standby, my device show green signal status. Every time I make a call, signal color turns to orange. This let me think that device is not using VoLTE and switch to UMTS when a call is made. Checked IMEI on Telus website and it reported that WF723CA will work on Telus VoLTE network. How can I use VoLTE with Wireless Home Phone? EDIT: The issue disapeared after a power cycle and seams to return after some times... Also, some times, I got no tone on my phone and, again, a power cycle resolves the issue for some times...
Hi,I just exhausted my 50 gb data and I got the message that you can get one GB data for 25 dollar until the end of billing cycle .So Will I be charged 25 dollar just for this month or for all bill cycle in future
I've talked to apple support and they pointed me towards talking to the carrier to see what's wrong … Apple ID services is using a gig of data a day I have 20 gigs of data and it typically lasts around 2 weeks (14 gigs of it are Apple ID)! They wouldn't tell me any setting or anything or do anything on their end I've deep dived the internet to see if I could shut anything else off and nothing I've tried has worked! Any ideas or clues to what it may be?
I am trying to sign up and get a new phone with a plan and I am having a bit of a time doing this. I am not technically inclined and not knowing how or who to talk to about this. Trying to do this online through my current crap phone and having absolutely no clue..
Hi all, wondering if anyone has encountered something similar before. We received a new iphone 11 from Koodo yesterday with the sim card. We attempted to set it up by transferring from another (gen 7 ) iphone. We set up the number transfer from our old provider, which worked successfully onto the new SIM. However, the iphone 11 has been unable to pick up service with this new sim. It remains with “SOS” where the service bars should be, indicating no service. We tested this by switching the new Koodo SIM into another (android) phone and it worked in that phone. We also tested by putting another Koodo SIM from a different user into the iphone, which normally works on their usual phone, and it wouldn’t pick up service on that either. We’ve tried all the usual trouble shooting routes (restarting phone, hard restarting phone, toggling on and off airplane mode, turning on and off cellular data, even resetting the phone to factory and not attempting to set it up with the users’ old phone data,
I keep receiving calls from a No Caller ID number, I am wondering if Koodo can block this number for me as Apple does not give that option.
A couple weeks ago I signed up for a tab basic phone, $8 a month for 24 months. Now I see the same device is $5 a month for 24 months, same conditions. Is there a “cool down period” where I can still get a price adjustment to get the benefit of the lower priced phone? I want to keep everything the same, just get the better monthly rate please. Thanks.
Phone will not move off the main screen. It does not work
I just hate how there is no warning like for data when you are close to reaching your limit there is a warning but not for long distance homephone.Basically i am on a homephone plan with 1000 free minutes to european countries like london and my parents have never over used the minutes till now and my homephone bill is $172… (usualy pay $24 after tax per month) just don’t like how if i click “view usage” the website doesn’t show and says “unavailable”
Something must have happened to my iPhone 11, and now all of my messages are sending as text messages instead of iMessages. Does anyone know how to fix this?Thank you in advance!
eSim looping on Activating..I finally was able to go to a Koodo Store to get my eSim and when I got home to activate it on my iPhone it is stuck in “Activating..” What i have done so far:Restart Phone Airplane Mode (On - Off) Reset Network Settings + Restart Airplane Mode (On - Off) Search for help in Koodo website (led me here)I’m planning on deleting the esim through the iPhone Settings but I’m afraid that I will not be able to re-use my esim voucher.Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.
I need a new phone and would like to keep my current plan which costs $46/month. The online information chart seems to say that as long as my current plan is over $40, I should be able to keep it and buy a new phone with Tab Basic. But I don’t seem to be able to purchase the phone without changing plans. Why is that? Is there any way I can buy a new phone and keep my plan? Thanks in advance for your help!
I’ve gone through all the troubleshooting steps, looks like I (and my phone) meet all the wifi calling requirements, but it’s not working. Should VoLTE be showing as an option?
