eSim looping on Activating..

I finally was able to go to a Koodo Store to get my eSim and when I got home to activate it on my iPhone it is stuck in “Activating..”

What i have done so far:

  1. Restart Phone
  2. Airplane Mode (On - Off)
  3. Reset Network Settings + Restart
  4. Airplane Mode (On - Off)
  5. Search for help in Koodo website (led me here)

I’m planning on deleting the esim through the iPhone Settings but I’m afraid that I will not be able to re-use my esim voucher.

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for giving me an idea.

I went to the Self Serve Tab, proceeded to the Change Sim section, and added the information manually.

Worked like a charm. I think I lacked that step.

I don’t know which should come first, but here is what I did.

  1. Scan the QR Code from the iPhone Settings Menu to add eSim
  2. Log-in to the Koodo website.
  3. Navigate to the Self-Serve Tab
  4. Proceed to the Change Sim link
  5. Fill in information from the eSim Voucher

Esim (similar to regular SIM) needs to be attached to a number/plan before using it. From your description, they just sold you an inactive esim.

Are you currently a Koodo customer? Are you a prepaid or postpaid customer?

Thank you for your response.

I’m an existing Koodo Customer. I have a Koodo number.
