I was a pre-paid customer and switched to post-paid this morning. My SIM card doesnt work and my phone has been disconnected all day. I turned it off, took the Sim card out, restarted the phone multiple times today. I wasnt told I'd need a new SIM card but since it hasnt been working all day, do I need to get one? I can't receive any texts or calls.

Should I delete Koodo temporary eSIM after number port has been succeessful  

I signed up for internet because someone came to my door and promised me 500 Mbps for the same price. Later, I received the paperwork, and surprise, surprise — it showed only 100 Mbps. What a beautiful beginning.Today, I called because my internet keeps dropping and reconnecting, especially when I go upstairs or to the basement. The lady on the phone very kindly told me she could not help and simply suggested that I should buy Wi-Fi extenders for the basement and upstairs. I was expecting someone to come and check the connection, inspect the modem, or replace any faulty equipment. She told me that another lady would call me back to discuss the matter. My contract has been cancelled. I tried to contact the team, and they requested some documents, which I shared immediately. After that, the service was stopped, and they didn't respond to my messages or emails. I am really disappointed with Koodo's service.

Koodo is the worst network I have ever use. I called to be connected to a technical assistant 

I am trying to port my number to another carrier and Koodo is letting the request expire so I keep having to make the request again. It has also been impossible to get ahold of an actual person to speak to and the “Koodo Assist” isn’t responding anymore. I have tried to call 1-844-232-7678 but it’s all automated and hangs up on me. Please help.

I need someone to call me urgently at ********66 to switch over my line because my billing cycle ends tonight and I need to switch over. I already have the Koodo SIM but with a different number 

I received my upgrade today and need an eSIM. I converted my old sim to an eSIM so that I could transfer to my new phone, but my old phone says sim converted and my new phone says no sim. I have been trying to figure this out for hours, and still have no service on either device. Any help appreciated before these devices get put in the garbage

Starting yesterday, May 5th, my SIM card suddenly showed ‘No mobile data service’ “Temprarily turned off by your carrier”. My cell service will also go into ‘Emergency calls only’.I called Koodo and they made me go through ALL the steps. Via online/phone assistance, no one seemed to know this was an issue. Additionally, Telus does not have any outages in this area (and I cannot even report an outage, since I am not a Telus customer). I tried putting the SIM card into another phone, same error, I tried power cycling, I tried resetting networks (all with the IT Technician on the phone). Eventually the Technician on the phone told me to go to a Koodo store and ask for a new SIM card. As I was driving to the Koodo store, the second I left my home-zone with my phone, I was able to use mobile data again. I went into the store in North Vancouver and the man there said that I’m the third customer who has come in with this issue. I am posting this for anyone who is having issues activating their Amazon Prime through Koodos stream+.  If you are using an iPhone or any Apple product and your default browser is Safari you will probably run into issues with activating specifically Amazon Prime.  I have been struggling to get it to Activate. Finally, today, I decided to try through Google Chrome browser and had no issues, It activated right away.  It would be nice if Koodo Could add this as a requirement!  The chat bot Was useless for this, and I searched every forum and could not find any information on how to help with this

Im Koodo internet customer. Sadly the setup provided by Koodo isnt working for me on full potential. I want to replace modem/wifi booster that i was given with modem/router combo, since i have bunch of wired connections. What information do i need to check to know if  modem i want to buy would work with koodo internet? my internet is via tv cable.

Hello,I have been on hold with the Koodo line to cancel Internet 1-855-350-1170 for 25 mins now, and I tried again yesterday for another ~20 mins. No one seems to answer. Why can’t I schedule a callback? Why is there no update on where I am in line?  Could someone please assist me in having someone call me back. Thanks.

Trying to Cancel my account from this service is ridiculous! First trying to cancel a line off my account due to a user passing away was a nightmare. It took 2 weeks to get it cancelled! Now I’m trying to actually move the other 2 numbers and theres apparently Port Protection on both numbers. I never consented to port protection to be on the account in the first place! I need to get this removed without having to call into get the port protection removed. I thought it was supposed to be easy switching but nope. Utterly Frustrated! 

Does anyone know how to contact a person with Koodo?  We purchased a 7 day Easy Roam travel pass and yet were still charged an additional $258 on our bill.  The chatbot doesn’t understand the question and will not even allow me to schedule a call back. I am the account holder for this account but the two phone numbers belong to my teenagers.  So I need to be able to give someone an ACCOUNT number to deal with both problems as opposed to giving one PHONE NUMBER.This is an incredibly frustrating experience.  I looked through the forum but I can’t seem to be able to find the answer. 

Hello. I just added a line to my account for my mom and she wanted to keep her old number. I followed the instructions right up until it asks for IEMI number or the account number from the company she transferring her number from. We put in her account number and it keeps telling her it’s wrong. She double checked I have triple checked  and she is entering the correct account number. How can I talk to costumer service for some help

For at least three years, probably longer, my texts have been bouncing back. Don’t ask me why I tolerated it this long, because I honestly don’t know. At this point, there are far too many other providers to even consider sticking with Koodo.From what I’ve noticed, the service runs in cycles: about 10 minutes where nothing sends (everything fails), followed by a brief 5-minute window where messages actually go through. “Tech support” claims they don’t see any issues on their end, and none of their suggestions have made a difference. This isn’t just happening on my phone either, it’s the same story on my partner’s device. Doesn’t matter where we are, or time of day.I’m constantly toggling airplane mode just to reconnect to a tower and squeeze out a few minutes of usable service. That’s not what anyone should have to do for something they’re paying for.At this point, I’d rather pay more somewhere else and actually have a service that works.

Looking to see if anyone else is affected. My internet was out for about 5 hours on Tuesday (Apr 28), and it's down again this morning (Fri May 1). I'm in the Kitchener-Waterloo area.I've unplugged the modem and held the reset button for more than 30 seconds this morning.Anyone else in the region seeing the same thing? Any word from Koodo on what's going on or an ETA on a fix?

We have just connected the modem in our home but the modem is in my son’s room, which is not ideal. There is another port in the family room but when connecting it there, it shows that it is connected on the modem but there is no wifi available on any of our devices. How can we trouble shoot this? Are there any live tech support agents?

My Koodo home phone has not been working for weeks.I have tried all the suggestions on this website and my phone is still not working.It does not ring all the time. If it does ring the calls are droppped about every 3 minutes.I scheduled a call back online and the bot tells me it does not detect a response. Customer service is very lacking. I am currently paying for a service that is not working and has not worked for 3 weeks.  

I have been trying to cancel my koodo internet since i got it nearly 9 months ago. it’s IMPOSSIBLE to get ahold of anyone and i’ll stay on hold for 30 mins to an hour to not hear from ANYONE. i need to cancel this internet, if anyone has any tips please help.  absolutely horrific customer service. 

I keep getting spam calls from one specific number.  That from the area code is from the GTA . I have blocked the number,  but it goes to my voice mail, they never say anything in the voicemail,   but i don't even want the number to even reach my voicemail,  can call control keep that from happening and can i choose which numbers call control stops. 

I just signed up using the ESim so I could keep my phone number. Now my phone isn't connecting to any network and I can't sent or receive texts or calls. I don't know what to do but I need my phone to work
