I have been having ongoing issues with my home internet suddenly losing connection, even though ALL connection lights are on, on both the router, and wifi box. It works for a day/2, then shuts off, then comes back on its own, or if I reboot the Router. I’ve never had this problem with other providers before in the same location. And the equipment HAS been replaced, but the problem is STILL happening! Its happening right NOW! I’m having to use my PHONE’s 5G connection to get online. Has anyone else had this problem? Should I look to switching providers/equipment? Help!

QUESTION: Why is my number, which is not with Koodo since Dec. 27th, 2025 still listed in account for monthly charges?Situation:   On my account were two phone lines/numbers, since 2024.On Dec. 27th, 2025 I switch one of my phone line to another service provider - due to Koodo raised charges for service, almost 20%, after +year of service, even thou an agent explicitly promised to never raise the charges at the time of signing my two lines with Koodo. in 2024.In November-December talks/texts with Koodo --» Koodo was not willing to match or just to negotiate the better deal, which I got with another provider.Second line will go from Koodo to another provider also. 

Trying to add Stream + Basic; however, it freezes before payment . Can someone tell me if Koodo currently has a problem.thanks in advance…

Call Hong Kong from Canada using mobile, I can hear their voice, but they cannot hear me.Is that related to Telus ? Since I have other mobile brand also powered by Telus, and have same issue.Anyone experience long distance issue like this? Please advise, thanks.

Can I add AppleTv to my Stream+ subscription instead of Disney?

I’ve been requesting a port out from Koodo to Voiply for months now, and it keeps getting rejected. I finally got a text message from Koodo to confirm, but I was sleeping (I’m on China Standard Time (UTC+8)). I set my phone volume high and after receiving 3 advertisements from Koodo that woke me up at 2AM (thanks...), I finally got the port out confirmation text message. I responded “Yes” immediately, but the port was just rejected again. I called Koodo support last week but they basically said “Stay awake all night”. Is there any way I can confirm the port out in advance? Anyone have any other solutions? I’ve now paid for a whole other month of service from Koodo because I can’t port out.

So i ordered an esim yesterday was charged for it on my card but never received an email confirmation or anything and have no service

Hi,I am not sure whether the eSIM currently installed on my phone is valid or not. I attempted an eSIM recovery, but since the device has no service, I am unable to receive any messages.Could you please clarify how the eSIM recovery process is supposed to work in this situation, given that there is no active service on the device?Thank you for your help.What I tried so far:- restarting the phone- powering off the phone for 15 min and starting it again- recovering the eSim

I am currently using Cogeco but will be switching to Koodo Internet. Do I have to contact Cogeco to cancel before connecting the Koodo modem to the wall outlet that the Cogeco modem is currently active on? I would rather wait until I see how the Koodo service works before I cancel with Cogeco. 

How can I activate a standard greeting in my voicemail?  I don’t seem to have that option in my menu.  Only personal greetings.  I want an automated voice to say “you have reached blah blah”

I called Koodo this afternoon and luckily got an excellent service from a lady called Catherine Ng ( spelling correct?). She is amazing, detailed explaining information and has  a lot of patience to solve the problems.Her help is really appreciated!Sincerely,Virginia Leung 

For 3 months, several calls, I would say 7 or 8 out of 10 calls I take or try to make daily are dropped.  Even trying to listen to my own voice mail and the call drops. I haven’t moved, nothing has changed but the crap service from Koodo and I’ve been waiting weeks for their rep to call me back. Who else is experiencing this crap service?

I was convinced to switch to Koodo due to the term of the Stream+ Bundle that was offered to me as a door crasher sale on black friday 2025. I realized that the basic stream + bundle did not work so i have been tryin to upgrade to premium. Self serve portal shows premium stream + for $25/month for 24 months but when i click the link for ‘switch to this plan’ nothing happens. I missed my 2 week return period because of this deceptive marketing. Trying to speak with live representatives is an insane process. you have to go through the chatbot which stonewalls you from speaking with a live rep unless you repeat over and over that you want to speak with a live rep. I have had 3 calls now and all of them get cutoff abruptly and then i have to start over.Koodo’s customer service  is an absolute disgrace!!!

ETA - wrong name in profile. Unable to change. I switched to Koodo only because I needed a replacement Iphone and they had the best offer. I regret it so much. My service is so bad that 90% of the time I can’t make a call from my house and if I do, I can’t move once the call is connected. Service is bad everywhere as well. I looked at a tower map and I see that there are no 5G towers bear me and a scattered few LTE towers. I was with bell before and the remaining members of my household are still with bell. The coverage map shows more coverage with Bell. I wish I had checked this before switching. At this point I may just cancel my account and take the hit on the discount on the phone.  TBH it wasn’t a great deal but at the time it was the only deal around and my existing phone was not working so I couldn’t wait. 

I need a call back from koodo , this is now a legal matter and i need to speak to a live agent ASAP 

Hey, i have a Tablet, and i pay the device care at 17$ a month, i was wondering how to proceed to get a screen repair on my tablet. its cracked in a corner, it just snapped one day while i was holding it the digitizer and lcd is not affected, i am in the Gatineau/Ottawa Area

Can I use koodoo just for the phone plan, like paying monthly to get the phone, and another provider like Rogers for the data plan.

When I go to my sim manager my eSIM still shows my temporary number instead of my number that I ported over. I’ve tried resetting network settings, toggling airplane mode, restarting the phone etc. Nothing has worked, It’s been about 2 weeks since I ported the number so it’s not changing on it’s own. I’ve seen some people had their SIM setting refreshed from Koodo’s end and it seemed to solve the problem. Can a Koodo rep do the same for my account? 

On my Android Ggl Pixel 7, these are the options to access mobile data: Navigate internet > koodo > roaming (connect to data services when roaming) | toggle on or offNavigate SIMS > Koodo is selected > mobile data (access data using mobile network) | toggle on or off The former is the only option that mentions roaming. The latter is limited to ‘access data using mobile network.’ My assumption is: The second option is rqd to access data using the mobile network in Canada.The first option expands data access when roaming. Could someone pls confirm or clarify my understanding. Thank you.iRobert

Keep getting text messages about using my Telus rewards before they expire. I’m a Koodo customer. What are these rewards or is this just a scam?

Over the past few years we have had Telus, Public Mobile and now Koodo. The signal here in our house in the centre of town in Campbellford has never been great (1-2 bars) and I gather that Telus relies on Bell towers in rural areas of Ontario under a tower sharing agreement. We have had intermittent connection issues with both Telus and Public Mobile with people being unable to hear us or us unable to hear them or just garbling noises that require a callback, sometimes twice. It was bearable under both Telus and Public Mobile but once we switched to Koodo it became noticeable worse for us. After months of trial and error we have came to the conclusion that Bell is actively reducing the transmission power for Koodo users greater than that of Public Mobile and Telus users. We hope this can be addressed because the connection issues have become unbearable. We have enabled wifi-calling for the time being and yes our previous android phones do provide less connection problems than our br

How else can I cancel the internet subscription. I tried for 9 hours today to get them to answer the call in the queue and they did not.  I scheduled a call back through Koodo assist and the rep that called me transferred me to the same queue after I asked them not to because I had been on hold for 6 hours with no answer. At 9PM they disconnected the call because they are closed.How else can I cancel the service? 

We had a storm a few days ago and now we cant make or receive calls on any of our cell phones . we don't have a land line. Or phone's are fine. They work when we go into town. It says we are on a Telus tower and there are a few towers that have issues but its been days. This is ridiculous!! I cant contact anyone. I get an endless circle of help articles but no way to report this problem. AND I am not a Telus customer so I cant talk to them. they just want me to sign up!!!! I am very frustrated!!!

I had just noticed that my Samsung phone is not connecting to WiFi. It states it cannot find IP address. I went to a different location and used their network and it worked fine. I believe this may have to due with the new Telus tv boxes I had to upgrade to. I have tried removing the sim card, turning airplane mode on and off. Rebooted the router a few times. I am at a loss for the next move. As I get deeper into trouble shooting the more confused I am. Can anyone suggest any other tips.
