Not able to make/receive calls here in Kingston! Was working ok last night. Been having "garbled" or broken voicemail for the last several weeks as well.

I have all my services EXCEPT calling abilities. From what I'm reading it's affecting only LG phones on Koodo services????
I had my daughter call customer service who claims there's no issues and then hung up on her!!!
I IM'd customer service and they say they'll call my phone????
Do they not understand I can't get/make calls OR retrieve voicemail???

They might need indeed to attempt a call on their end on the affected phone number to make sure it is not related to a potential issue with your phone number.
Have you had the chance to test the sim card in a different phone, other than LG?
Yes. I've put my sim card in another phone and was able to make a call.
How is it that my plan contract and tab became fully paid off this month and now am experiencing these problems???

I see others complaining of the same issues with koodo LG phones.
Perhaps it's time to switch provider to a less trouble company.
Having the same issue here in NB. Have one LG phone and one iPhone. iPhone works but LG does not. Have all services other than calling. We to just paid off the tab last month and yesterday everything worked fine, today we cannot make or receive calls on LG phone. We also tried SIM card in another phone and it worked.

Which LG model did you have? If the SIM was fine in another phone, the issue could be from the phone. Have you tried a different SIM into that LG and test?
I have an LG ThinQ7.
How can it be only MY phone when others are on here complaining of the same issue????!!!!!!!!

After checking with technical support, it seems that this an issue affecting currently LG devices, mainly for incoming and outgoing calls and the issue is currently being investigated.
We recommend to back up the data in your LG device, and perform a factory reset, this should fix the issue.

Factory resetting my phone is not an acceptable response. I also have a G7 ThinQ and am experiencing the same issue. I use my phone for work, with 2FA and other necessary apps that make reseting my phone a massive hassle.
Please have the engineers find a more permanent solution than ‘get the end-user to reset their phone’

EDIT - Found in another thread - Disable the Google app in settings and phone calls work again - This appears to not be an issue with Koodo’s services exclusively. However, I stand by my original statement that advising users to reset their phones is poor advice and can/will be met with pushback from users.
Thank you for posting this advice to disable Google App. As soon as I disabled the Google app I was able to make calls and connect to my voicemail. We’ve been struggling for 3 days to figure this out with no help from Koodo. Too bad Koodo support couldn’t find this easy fix. I agree resetting the phone to factory settings is very poor advice.
I disabled Google on my LG, however that only helps for making calls and retrieving voicemail. Still can't receive incoming calls.
