I received an email that is from

koodoservice@mail.koodomobile.com

we are still in Canada so I don’t know why we are getting this? 

 

Are you close to the US border at all?

If you're close to the border and your phone happens to connect to a US tower then it could trigger the warning email that you're seeing above.


I suggest manually setting the network to Koodo so you don't get charged for usage accidentally

That's very close. Do what Robert suggested to prevent your phone from accidentily connecting to a US tower. Note you will need to do this after everytime you restart your phone.
