stolen phone - can I remotely back up data?

Kim Brilliant

My phone was stolen yesterday. I’ve blocked it. Is there a way to remotely back up my data (especially Contacts and Notes) to my computer, before I blacklist it? It’s a Samsung Galaxy S8, if that matters. Thanks!

Did this help you find an answer to your question?

Did you save your data on Google Drive before it was stolen? Unfortunately, once it’s gone, there isn’t much you can do to back anything up. https://forums.tomsguide.com/faq/how-to-recover-data-from-your-lost-or-stolen-android-phone.107954/

You can hope the automatic backup was actuated making it easier to restore the data. Google has a system so does Samsung. You can check on both places.
