Everbridge text

We received a text from Koodo through Everbridge and are trying to verify if this is, in fact, from Koodo. They said that calls from our phone to Haiti will be temporarily free (assuming due to the earthquake). Seems great but would like to confirm. Have asked for a callback but wondering if anyone else has received or heard of these texts. TIA

Hi there @donnec

In an effort to help with the current situation in Haiti, Koodo isproactively waiving roaming pay-per-use charges in Haiti and international long distance and text messaging charges to Haiti between August 20 and September 18, 2021.

Thanks for the response. That’s what it seemed like. Had a callback this morning but the customer service rep I spoke with wasn’t familiar with it. I don’t think that necessarily means it wasn’t Koodo but I wish there was a way to confirm.
