Question: I made an accidental payment on November 7th, 2023 to my Koodo bill. Will I be getting a refund? I called three times, the first two times I was told I would be directed to the finance department but the call was ended on btoh tkmes. Called a third time and was told that my refund was declined and I was not notififed of it. I was told that I was to get my refund withint 6-8 weeks by the way. 

We have the 1000 min LD add on.  Can we make a call from Hawaii to Canada without additional charges? 

My Koodo internet doesn’t work for more than 8 hours, when will it be up?

I was with Koodo up until I signed up for a Black Friday deal with Public Mobile.  I switched over and received my final pro-rated bill from Koodo shortly thereafter. A month or so later, I received another bill for long distance charges on a call the same day I was porting my number.  I had Canada-wide free long distance, so it shouldn’t have been as issue. Anybody have any idea why this would happen?

Koodo is currently advertising $20 off home Internet packages for existing mobile customers. I am a prepaid user but when I click the promo link to sign into self serve, it only goes to the regular prepaid self-serve page and doesn't offer anything further. Can someone confirm whether this promotion applies only to postpaid accounts? Even without the promo, this is about the same as what I was paying Fido for home Internet before they increased the price and stopped offering it to new customers.

I have a ZTE  home phone, we’re going to Florida in April for a month.  Can I bring the module with me and will it work and at what cost? Also have a prepaid account with my iphone, how does that work?Tks

Hi there, I accidentally locked my sim card by entering the sim card pin incorrectly 3 times and it now requires an 8-digit Puk code to be unlocked. I don't have access to any other phones and I have no means of calling a Koodo rep. Can someone help me?

Earlier today my phone suddenly notified me with “SIM not provisioned for voice” and won’t reconnect to Koodo prepaid.  I’ve been using this SIM and phone for over a year and my account is in good standing.  I’ve tried restarting the phone and I’ve also tried reinserting the SIM card, with no luck.  My account profile has the correct SIM number listed.  Any ideas on how to fix this?Thanks,Mike

I just signed up for the new koodo home internet but when trying to set up the modem it says I need a telus connect account. In order to make this I need a telus # or telus account. Where would I get this information? My koodo numbers are not working.

I went to Japan and sent a text to Canada with roaming disabled on my SIM card, yet was still charged Easy Roam $16.00.  Is this an error or did I need to disable easyroam in self serve too?Without easyroam, it seems like the text would’ve cost me $0.60 - is that correct?

According to Telus I am in a purple 5G area, but I have been running Speed Tests on and off and my numbers are barely 4G never mind 5G.I have a 6 month old Koodo iPhone 14 Plus and I am on the $60 5G Can-US plan. I have tried different troubleshooting like resetting Network settings, taking the SIM card out, etcHere are some Speed Test numbers which are mostly dismal - but what throws me is every now and then (but not often) there is a decent number. The 180 is the best I have seen. Any suggestions? 

I’m looking to buy a phone and wondering which frequencies and bands are supported by Koodo.I’ve found this page - it is somewhat useful in that it lists the frequencies, however for the 700 MHz frequency I am wondering which bands Koodo uses.   I see here on this 2018 site that phones on Koodo and Telus must support bands 12,13,17, and 29 in the 700 MHz frequency range, however many phones are missing one or more of these  (usually 29).  I’m not sure how important 29 is anymore. Is this page even current and correct?Can someone provide some current and definitive info?

I convinced a friend to sign up for the $35/50gb plan. He was told by a rep he could not use the Refer a Friend discount on that plan. Is that true?

Hi everyone,I added Visual Voicemail to my account this evening. I also have Premium Voicemail as my free perk which includes Instant Voicemail.After adding V/Voicemail, I am still getting Instant Voicemails. Can this be removed from my account or do I need to remove Premium Voicemail?Thanks,Steve

Poking around the website, there’s a deal for 60GB data for $50 so I decided to upgrade. At the same time I ordered the Google Pixel 8 for $10 x 24 tab. To arrive at the $0 upfront for the phone (as advertised) I had to choose Tab Mid. Going through the ordering pages it said that I will be able to add a free perk after completing the order. I don’t see an option to add free texting (one of the advertised perks).What gives? Anyone know how to add it? 

Can I share my data with someone who hotspots from my phone while I’m on easy roam in the US?

I have been getting a series of very offensive calls and texts over the last few months - some of these seem automated/AI and others are somewhat personal. I have put unknown calls to voicemail and blocked each number, but they keep appearing under new numbers. Is there anything else that can be done?

I have a Galaxy A5, and my plan is $30 a month, no data, that I’ve just been carrying over from when I got my first phone at 14 lol. I’m planning on buying a new Galaxy directly from Samsung to avoid having to upgrade my plan/tab (and so I can get it in green), but I’d like to confirm with someone who has experience that I definitely won’t be pushed to upgrade the plan if I take this route. As an afterthought, do all phones automatically have access to the 5g network or are people paying a premium for that, like fiber optic internet? As you can tell by my current model, I haven’t got much experience with upgrading phones lol

There seems to be no option on Self Serve and when I requested “I want to cancel a line or an account” to Koodo Assist digital rep, it replies “We're busier than usual right now but there is no need to talk to a rep as all our offers are online↗ or in store!”. I looked through community posts and can’t find an answer, so I tried messaging Koodo on facebook and twitter and no reply from them either, hopefully they will at some point.Why’s it so hard to cancel a plan? It should just be an option in Self Serve.Appreciate if anyone can help me out on this.Thanks,Jeremy

I’m a Koodo customer but I can’t get my phone number to transfer to my new iphone 15 Plus from the android phone it’s replacing. Managed to transfer files and such but can’t set up the cell# during setup or with settings. Do I need to buy a an Esimcard  to do this or is there one already in the phone?  Lost in Halifax. 

My Koodo Data is not working after I changed my plan.Yesterday night, I changed my Koodo mobile Plan which is 50.00 per month with 70 GB of Shock -Free Data at 5G speed. And today morning, the data is not working so I couldn’t do my work in this morning.Please help me. Thank you.

Hello I need some help from you guys!I did a stupid thing ever!I got phone call from +1 (844) 962-1419 says call from Telus. I didn’t answer few times but on third call I did.The guy was offering me the new phone plan which was with Koodo 50G/$34. I thought it’s a good deal so decided to go for it.long story short,  it was after my nap so my brain was 100% working and gave all my information (address, full name, phone number, date of birth and SIN NUMBER!!!! he needed because I didn’t have driver license)After the call I got confirmation email from noreply@koodomobile.com says my order is in process.And agreement from do.not.reply@koodomobile.comAfter hanging up the phone call I felt it was a scam so I called them back and cancel it. I got cancelation email from koodoservice@mail.koodomobile.comCould someone check if this was scam or legit? 

I recently upgraded my phone to a pixel 7. It came in the mail with a new sim card. I thought there was some sort of process to follow where my new sim card supersedes the old one, but it looks like the new one just doesn’t work and I just transferred my old sim card to the new phone and it worked.Is it okay if I just throw out the new sim card? Why would they send me an extra sim card? For the plastic size adapters?

This morning I added the Amazon Prime Promo to my account. When I go to “complete activation” with my Amazon account I get an error that says “This account is not eligible for this benefit”. Both accounts are under the same email and I did receive a confirmation email. Thanks!
