Is there a way to stop all 3rd party application purchases on our phones?

Hi, currently in Italy and have International roaming as add-on. Cannot get roaming to work. Have tried resetting network and all other suggestions in community including removing SIM. Does anyone have any other ideas. I have used roaming successfully in States but very frustrated not having it in Italy on this trip. I'm a beginner at this.Thanks!

I ordered a new Iphone from koodo, it came in the mail and I did the transfer to take all the information off my old Iphone to put on the new one (both were with Koodo).  Everything transferred over fine, however, now I can’t send or receive texts from Android users.

Hello,I lost my phone somewhere and I have a data-block on it. Is it possible to track it with the Sim Card even with a Data-block. 

I am a programmer. I have an app that can only send email messages.  At work we use these messages to let the office know when an outside sale has been made.  I use the koodo email to SMS service to receive these confirmations. On October 11 I updated the apn settings as instructed by koodo.  Since that time I just get a square box that says "Download MMS".  However clicking it does nothing.

I requested stream+ on October 28th and received the activation email, which I activated the account. I am not able to activate the individual streaming services as it is not showing up on my account. Can you please check what is going on? Thank you!

I signed up for Koodo internet tonight. There wasn’t a tech install date for a week, so I scheduled it for next week. But the billing date and charge for my credit card hit *today* despite me not having the service yet and won’t have it for at least a few days. Is this for real? Or will my first month not start until I actually receive the service?

Hello, I upgraded from iPhone SE to iPhone 12. Put in my new SIM card and it says SOS on top right corner and when I go to cellular options it’s showing no network available. I’ve done everything turned off. iMessage turned off Facebook turned off phone made sure I was connected to Wi-Fi reset my network settings and nothing is working. I keep saying that my iMessage needs to be activated. Saying when I go to settings general about it states physical sims network not available. Help!

I activated Extended Absence with a custom greeting. It was working two months ago but it stopped working recently. Something changed on the carrier side.Today I logged in to voicemail to try to deactivate and reactivate the extended absence. That appeared to be successful, but the standard greeting plays and not my custom extended absence greeting. Please fix this.

Why is Koodo instructing people to use “aliasredirect.net” as the setting for MMSC?Unsecured http? When I clicked the link on my phone’s browser, I was redirected to a malicious software scam called Tor.jack Malware. Also, my data service stopped working when I used these settings. Can somebody explain what Koodo is thinking with regards to the MMSC link in particular? IPhone 12 mini, OS 16.7.2, trying to convert to eSIM; monthly plan; phone says I am eligible to convert to eSIM, and offers all the buttons to do soEverything worked as expected, but at activation step, when asked to confirm, I got the following message:“Once your phone number is transferred, it will stop working on this phone” ?!?I don’t want to transfer my phone number to a different phone, so I aborted.  Is there something fishy with the process, or is this just a poorly worded message, and I would be fine?

I already have an existing self-serve account but I am unable to log in. I have tried to reset my password several times, and before I even type a new password the bottom “Type new password again” has an error msg saying my password is invalid. When I try to click submit anyways it says the service is unavailable and to try again in one hour. I waited a week in between trying and have the same issue. The issue is not my password as the error msg is there before I even type one. I have tried many passwords that would all be valid if this error was not happening. I have tried on different browsers, on my phone and on my laptop. Error msg is there straight away no matter where I tryHelp!!!!! 

I bought an iPhone online in March 2023 trough the online Koodo site and payeed in full. I cannot find the invoice for this purchase in by self serve profile. I had some issues with my phone after I received it ( phone was cutting off and on when I talking to someone, was not able to make phone calls in certain areas when my daughter had the same phone and same plan that I have and she was able to ...)  . By the time I was able to speak to human agent at Koodo, the 30 day exchange warranty had expired. I spoke to a tier 2 tech agent and he informed me that with every iPhone purchase, there is a 1 year warranty and that I can bring my phone to the TELUS store and they will send it to Apple to troubleshoot. So I brought it to the TELUS store in Les Promenades Gatineau and the sales Rep at first told me that they are unable to send my phone the Apple store. I applied for a phone number（prepaid） in August and will return to China in November. I have stopped paying now and my number is no longer in use. Do I need to go through other procedures? If I return to Canada in January 2024, can I continue to pay bills and use the original number? Thank you！

I have traveled from Canada to India. After reaching India, my network is not detecting. I just want to receive text messages for OTP purposes. Before my travel, I confirmed with customer care that no special plans are needed for this purpose; it should just work. However, it is not. I have tried 1) switching off/on and 2) manually selecting the network, but neither of these methods work. Could someone please help me with this? Thanks.

Can call forwarding be used to forward messages and calls to a voip number? 

Hi! Struggling a bit to understan why I received a long distance charge for a call to a canadian number. My plan includes free canada-wide minutes so I’m unsure why this happened, especially because the area codes were the same for my number and the number I called. Is there any way I can dispute the charge? Or else figure out why it happened.
