I recently our two phones from another flanker brand, to take advantage of the Black Friday plans. It was a mixed experienceOrdering: The good, the first order went through online with no issue. The bad, I could not order a second sim online despite several attempts with different credit cards. However I did get an excellent agent online fairly promptly, who was able to set it all up, and waived the setup fee and sim fee. I still don’t know exactly why I couldn’t complete the order.Setup: All good here, I received the sims in 3 business days, and the switchover of my phone numbers from my old carrier was straightforward, and each phone took about 15-20 minutes to complete the move. Performance on Koodo network is similar to what I got with my old carrier. I am in a bit of a hole for cellular signals with both carriers, and my phones wander between 3G and LTE at home.Disappointing: Between the time I ordered and received the sims, the Black Friday special changed from $34/20 gig to $34/
Hello,As Black Friday offer and sales ongoing , I'm considering upgrading my iPhone 13. I'm on a Koodo plan with a remaining tab balance and a bonus balance that reduces monthly. I'm open to changing my plan or simply upgrading my phone while keeping my current plan. What are the best deals or strategies you've encountered for an upgrade during Black Friday sales? I’d appreciate any tips or experiences you can share, especially if you're familiar with Koodo's offerings. Thanks for your help!
currently have $50/40gb will i be able to upgrade to new phone and keep my plan this black friday/cybermonday?
looking to upgrade my phone for a while now, preferably the 14 pro max or 15 plus, i usually check the new plans, new and CPO phones on a regular basis. with black friday around the corner, will i be able to upgrade to a new phone while keeping my current plan? id hate to lose it but all the plans being offered to me are $60+ for the same or slightly more GB which i dont really have a use for let alone 40gb now. only reason i took it was because it was the same price with more GB.looking at the phones now, they are all requiring me to have a plan that is $55+any insight would be helpful
Could a Koodo manager help me, please! So basically, I went into a Koodo kiosk a week ago. I have 6 months of excellent payment history, so the Koodo Rep that the kiosk guy spoke to, removed the credit limit from my account. The Koodo Rep also put in the notes on my account that I was eligible for the Tab Basic. Now I’m being told from a different Koodo Rep that I’m not eligible and the first Koodo Rep made a mistake and I would have to wait another 6-8 months to go on the Tab Basic. I don’t think I should have to wait that long. That was Koodo’s mistake and I shouldn’t be reprimanded for it. I want this resolved ASAP!
Hi,I have a phone number which currently is with Tab Plus plan. But when i try to upgrade my Phone (any phone), it will say it is not eligible with Tab Plus ( or any Tab).currently this number doesn’t have any tab balance and does not own any money. My other numbers are fine to purchase/upgrade phone with tab.Does anyone else have the similar problem? Thanks & Regards,Raymond
I have tried to get in contact with someone for several month now. When my niece was here in August of 2022 from Austria, we bought a Kodoo sim card. Unknown to me this was actually a subscription. I want to cancel this for month now. After not being able to talk to someone i disputed the CC transaction however of course Kodoo came back to the bank, saying she can call. Well, I am still trying. I don’t have the number anymore so I am not able to login either to cancel. I would appreciate if someone gets in contact with me. I understand that this is business, however calling isn’t possible, and I have not been able to find anyway to talk to someone.
I’m currently on the $45 for 40 gig BYOD plan. I’m trying to get the Samsung S23FE on the Tab Mid (I’m not eligible for Tab Plus). I’ve selected the 60 gig for $65 plan which is required in order to get the Tab Mid. I then enter my credit card info for the shipping fee and click submit. It says it’s processing and then it comes up saying that “The price plan is not valid” and gives me an option to search for a store. I don’t want to go to a store as I’ve already been charged a $60 connection fee when I started up at the end of Oct. I’ve got a scheduled call back for tomorrow morning, but I’m hoping that someone here might have an idea as to what’s happening so that I can maybe get this resolved tonight. Thanks.
I have a simple question, a few months ago, I got a phone using Tab but now I want to upgrade it. If I pay the tab balance, will I be able to get a new phone? What will happen to my tab bonus, will I have to pay that as well? Or will it keep decreasing even after I get a new phone?
I’m trying to upgrade my phone, but each time I try to add the phone to my cart it fails with an error: “This product isn't compatible with other items in your cart” There’s nothing else in my cart, so I’m not sure what the error is keying off of. FWIW, the phone is a certified used S21 Ultra 5G; how can I purchase this phone? Thanks,
Currently on the great 100gb can-usa plan that was recently released.. Great! But now I want to upgrade my phone, since I'm eligible. I'd like to get the Galaxy S23 Ultra - but Koodo wants me to essentially downgrade my plan to a Canada only 60gb which will cost $5 more... Wait a sec, this sounds like a cash grab bs offer to me. Not only am I paying upfront for the phone, and paying another $33/month, but they also want another $5 a month AND dow grade my plan? what the heck? seriously?
I got a problem here.I been overcharged for my September bill 614.67,when my regular bill is 122.Spoke with agent and he promised me that money will be refund in October. But unfortunately it’s never happened. With who I have to speak again and what I can do in this situation?Thank you
I have a Samsung s10 and my plan is from April, 2020 and costs about $45/m plus taxes and such.Clicked to upgrade phone, certified pre-own, S22 Ultra and it has a special promo offer of Tab Plus and I think $33/m tab, $590 tab bonus and $29 upfront. Not bad, add to the cart to see what my final totals will be and at the top says I can't do this with my plan, only basic works and $590 up front... Plus instead of $29 up front with Tab Plus it's $38+tx so even if Tab Plus deal worked the numbers went up.So... What's the deal?I complained months ago about a friend switching to Kodoo getting a better monthly deal than me a current customer, was told to wait a few months for cheap deals to pop up that never did, and now trying to price an upgrade after 3-4yrs and the promo it throws up I can't use unless I swap to a pricier plan with features I won't use anyway. Is it not worth it to stay with a company anymore? Instead, if you want a new phone get a new company?
Hey, quick question I have a line on my account for my friend and her phone broke so we upgraded her phone and I wound up with an $1100 bill. We bought the phone online and obviously didn’t realize the crazy charges. We called within the 30 days and were told we would be able to return the phone and they would send us an email to be able to send it back.within the 30 days and were told we would be able to return the phone and they would send us an email to be able to send it back. It’s been around five days and I still haven’t got the email to send it back. I just called customer service and got hung up on twice while being transferred to the web store department or whatever it is. Now I have to wait until tomorrow for another callback. I guess I have two questions one has anyone else had this problem with Koodo? And two am I still going to qualify to be able to send the phone back? Or am I going to get stuck with this ridiculous bill because they didn’t send me the email in the approp
