I am a new customer. I applied for a card in Vancouver. I want to stay in Whitehorse, Yukon for a long time. Please help me lower my taxes. Thank you!I hope the customer service representative returns my call.
I’m travelling to Europe later this week and would like to look into an eSim for a short international plan. I’m going for two weeks so paying $15 a day gets pricey. I’ve seen a little info online about them but I’m not a very techy person. Does Koodo offer some type of esim you can purchase for a short trip. I’ve seen a couple online that are about $50 for 30 days and 30GB of data. Any info is appreciated!
I just transferred to a new phone with Koodo. Everything went fine except it won’t connect to the network or cellular data. I can’t make phone calls. I can’t get help from Koodo because I can’t receive or make calls. Is there an email or someone that can help me?
I just ordered a new phone and added a new line to my existing account. During process I selected the desired area code and city. Do I get get choices of what phone number I prefer? If yes, when does this take place?
Why is it so much more economical to purchase the exact same phone elsewhere than to purchase through Koodo? Plus a plan change is necessary at $15/month more. Insult to injury, if for some reason the phone was lost or damaged, there is a huge payback penalty. Urgh. really??
ESIM I bought today is connected but nothing popped up for a network/cellular service, already restarted phone.. any tips?
My phone keeps getting kicked off kooko network. Bill is paid, bought new sim card. I did all the trouble shooting things.
Hello,I recently changed my mobile phone plan to the new 5G plan offered from Koodo on my Koodo-bought "Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G" but it doesn't seem to give me the 5G option/signal network anywhere. That's literally the only reason I switched over the new plan since I had originally bought this 5G phone from Koodo for that specific purpose.I live in a 5G covered area. Tried to restart my phone, reset my Network settings, remove/re-insert my SIM card to no avail. I saw another post about someone with a S20 FE 5G having similar issues where multiple people with that same phone are having this issue too, but no one with my phone model specifically so I decided to see if someone else here has this issue. My partner has a Samsung S21 Ultra and she gets 5G network some times randomly without even being on the Koodo 5G plan (she still has her old 4G plan). She sees the "5G/LTE/WCDMA/GSM" mobile network option on her phone but I do not, I only see "LTE/WCDMA/GSM". Is there something I'm mis
I lost my cellphone and waiting for an important phone, how can I do call forwarding remotely?
Hi :) Recently moved back to Canada and am in Alberta at the moment but moving to BC in a few weeks. Is it possible to get a SIM card with a BC number while in Alberta? Or do I need to get an Alberta number for the weeks here and then change it when I move? I have my own device. Thanks!!
A few days ago my data ceased to be usable. I have over 10gb of data usage left on my account this month. I did a speed test and am receiving 2mbps. I have not changed my phone, my plan or my location. My phone is 2 years old, everything else still works just fine. I have restarted it and taken out and put back in the sim card.
Hi folx,I have a new phone and although I can send pictures through text, I cannot send longer texts.Things I've done so far:* Checked that MMS is switched on* Checked that my data is enabled* Checked that my data is working* Tried numerous times to hit resend* Turned power off* Cleared cache of my messaging app* Cleared memory of my messaging app* Cleared cache of all of my apps* Factory reset I've read just about two dozen articles in trying to fix this issue to no avail. Any new ideas would be appreciated.
2 days ago, the Pixel 7 Pro was listed as a phone option to buy, but now it’s no longer there. What’s up with that?
This can't be normal! I've been having issues with my phone for a few days and these is my most recent speed test. I've restarted my phone with absolutely no difference. I believe that there is a way to restart the network itself but you know how easy it is to get a hold of anyone at Koodo to help 🙄
Hi there, I am existing Koodo Customer and planning to change my existing phones. I have two connections. My current plan is much better and serving my all needs for communication. I don’t wish to upgrade my plan. When I am going to order new phones for my existing connections, I am forced to change my plan which I don’t wish to change. How I can purchase phones without changing my current plans? I am loyal customer of Koodo since last more than 8 years. So I think there should be some loyalty rewards and I should be able to buy new phones with my existing plans. I also tried to look for customer service email but unable to find their email. I also tried to call them but due to long waiting time period, I was not able to connect with them. Thank you,
The basic messenger I've been using for years now won't display images or videos but instead offers a downloadable link, which I can never download. "Tap to download", then I get "Mobile data is turned off. Check your settings." when I tap it.I've never had data, I only use wifi. I'm not very knowledgeable when it comes to all this so a little advice would be appreciated. I'm using a Samsung A03s. Thanks.
Hello,In an ideal world, I’d like to use two SIM cards for the same account (1 in a phone, 1 in an LTE router).Question 1: is that an option? For the time being, I’d like to at least be able to try out my LTE router and see if it works as I expect. My phone currently has a nano SIM card and I managed to find a micro SIM card that came at the same time but that I had never used. Question 2: Can I use that micro SIM to try out my router without messing up the SIM that I use on my phone? Will trying out the Micro SIM deactivate my nano SIM somehow or get me to be charged twice? Thanks in advance!
I have a pixel 3xl and have been using it as a hotspot for over a year now. I have recently moved, and am less than 100 meters from a cell tower.Since moving I am encountering DNS issues when used as a hotspot. Most of the time the connectivity is great, however I am encountering situations where some urls will be reachable and others not. This happens for up to 10 minutes at a time.I have changed my DNS settings (from automatic to 8.8.8.8) in windows 11 to determine if that’s the issue, but that hasn’t alleviated the symptoms. Windows Diagnostics tool states that it’s a DNS issue, and the responses I am getting from failing browser-based requests are along the same lines (for example: ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED).I have tried multiple different computers and am experiencing the same intermittent issue, although I haven’t noticed this issue on the phone itself… any help identifying the issue would be much appreciated!
A number of years ago, I opted out of text message promos, and seeing some of the deals people are getting, my family included, I would like to opt back in. I already signed up for emails, but seeing things like people getting extra gigs has got me wanting the text offers as well. Is this possible?
I bought a phone unlocked on Amazon, can I purchase Device Care through Koodo?
I have a iphone 11 ( not 5G compatible) with a plan where i chose speed boost as a perk(ie. 4G speed with speed boost). Will the speed be better with this plan versus changing to a 5G plan ( no speed boost option)where I only can get the compatible 4G speed( due to my phone)? I think it is better to stay with current plan but wanted to make sure I understood the speed options.
So it’s been a couple of days now trying out Koodo after porting from Rogers. Talk and text is working great, but I’m finding data is a little sluggish and not as snappy as before. For example images on Instagram load one by one, FaceTime/YouTube buffers, and webpages take longer to populate. What’s odd is after doing some speed tests, I was getting around 150 mbps down which should be more than enough. I also went to different locations to test the network and even with full bars, data would still feel slow. I already tried resetting my phone’s network settings and toggling from 5G to LTE, but not much of a difference…I’m currently using an iPhone 14 Pro and Koodo e-SIM.Assistance on this would be greatly appreciated!
i am physically in Ontario, but somehow I have been getting prompted no US roaming for my plan when trying to make phone call. Can’t receive calls either. not sure what is the issue. any ideas? thanks in advance.
Hey there,I just moved to koodo.I tried a speed test because the mobile Internet seemed to rush. I barely got 4mb in download... my brother next to me is with koodo for years. He did a speed test on his 4G, he got 125 mb in download... I put my SIM card in his phone, we did a speed test, 4-5mb again. Conclusion : the issue is not my phone, it's my plan! Now I read on reddit a huge amount of feedback from people complaining of the same thing. So I'm here to get some help because I've been promised 4G speed so I want 4G speed lol. Is it slow because I just moved to koodo and need to wait a bit for setup to be completed and all this or is there anything else? Earlier this evening, when trying to connect on data, it said "connected, no internet". I already tried to reset many mobile settings like network type, APNs, etc. I restarted the phone and all. Now, when connecting on Mobile data, it says "4G" instead of "no internet" but the speed is still terrifyingly low. Thanks to anyone who wil
