Hi all, I’m currently in The Netherlands for two weeks and my iPhone 13 Mini does not connect to a local network for my Koodo plan. I do not have easy roam, but I do not need to call or send texts, I just want to be able to receive texts, mostly 2FA codes. But my phone will not connect to any network, also not when I manually select one of the networks available. I just says no service and that’s it. I have a post-paid plan. Add-ons can’t be the answer here because what are you gonna do with an add-on if you cannot even connect to a mobile network? Restarted the phone too, to no avail. I should mention that I have e-sim, but I cannot imagine that has anything to do with it.Thanks for you help!
Hi,I recently joined Koodo and am trying to set up my voicemail. When I call it asks me for a mailbox number - which I don’t think I have because nothing is set up yet. I’ve tried my own phone number but that doesn’t work either.I should mention that we did port our numbers from our last provider, if that makes any difference.Thank you!
I’m a prepaid user.I bought some US boosters for talk, text and data.Once I crossed the border into the US the only thing I did was reboot my phone, I didn’t change any settings. My phone worked fine until today. Now I cannot make any calls, however texts still work fine. What settings should I use, in particular: Access Point Name? Network operator? Any other settings that need changing?I don’t understand why the phone worked great for a while and now I can’t make any calls. I recently moved on to a different US city, but don’t know if that makes any difference.
All my incoming calls are going straight to voicemail. Do not disturb and airplane mode are not turned on.I am also not getting voicemail notifications, although I can call voicemail OK.I can make calls as usual. It has been like this all day. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to resolve this?
Due to late payment my service was suspended and reinstated almost immediately yesterday, however my data is still not reactivated. I keep getting a message saying “there is a data block on your account”. I have tried to no avail to correct the issue. What is the reason for this?
I live on a southern gulf island in BC. Poor Telus (Koodo) cellular reception means my phone switches to US towers across the water. I have to set my phone to only connect to Koodo networks, but that means I can’t take advantage of any Rogers towers that may offer better signal. And it also means my phone won’t easily connect to my cellular booster in my business office. I have to turn off the cellular radio in my phone, and turn it back on. I have to do this whenever I walk outside the office and go back in.
This isn't for my phone but for my dad's. He uses an iPhone 5 running on iOS 10.3.4. Recently he's been getting an error message whenever he tries to make a call. The message states that it's error 7UT1 and the phone isn't able to connect to a network. I've tried all the troubleshooting prompts on the Koodo page but nothing is working. My whole family uses Koodo so it doesn't seem to be a problem with outages or anything like that.
Got one voicemail with important legal info in it (basically an audio affidavit) and another with a useful alternate cell # given in the audio. Need to save them. Voicemail says it'll only save for 10 days. Resaving a few times, worried I'll miss the deadline, so opted to keep them new. Week or so later, they're gone for good. Not retreivable from "deleted or expired". Just wiped out. Best solution probably try to record onto device while playing msgs but easier maybe buy service that keeps msgs up to a reasonable size until you tell it it's ok to delete rather than until it decides to delete. Does Koodo sell this? How much? Thanx
I'm not a tekkie. I also get frustrated when things don't work properly although you've paid/are paying for them. This is a multi faceted question. I cannot use my plan as we get no reception whatsoever in my town. Koodo knows about this. But, sadly nothing is being done. I've flipped my phone to Wi-Fi calling. But, now it's not working. I keep getting booted off!I have a Samsung s9. For me to enable that feature Koodo sends me a code that I have to input within 10 mins. Yesterday I tried that literally at least 5 times! There's such a lag in either not getting the texts or coming in late and I get timed out. I'm furious! At this point I'm trying to figure out of this disconnecting of the Wi-Fi calling is an issue with my device or Koodo. Does anyone know? How do I figure this out?? If it's a device issue, how do I fix it once and for all? I shouldn't have to buy a landline and pay for long distance when I have unlimited on my cell. This is getting ridiculous. Thanks everyone!
iPhone 12 mini, iOS 15.4 … I want to set it for NO Roaming, NONE, Zip, Zilch. To go with Network > Koodo (i.e. not AUTOMATIC) But on my phone I can’t find the setting. Google searches all give different methods, and none match what I see on my phone - there’s no Roaming setting. Is it only visible when certain other settings are on?
I switched providers last Friday and switched from iPhone to SamsungI have 2 contacts for sure I'm not receiving text fromI turned off imessages from my old phone last weekend I did receive text from 1 of the contacts but nothing since. my sis has an iPhone and her texts are coming thru
