I have an UMIDIGI G1 Max phone running Android 12. When I create a wifi hotspot, devices can connect, but they do not have access to the internet. How can I get this working on the Koodo network?

Try adding DUN to the APN type. Technically, this stands for dial up networking, but many phones seem to associate it with using the phone as a hotspot.

Have you tried resetting the networks settings/ updating the APN settings?
