Apparently after Feb 7 Koodo changed some things that wouldn’t allow me to send MMS messages. I followed the steps listed below and it still didn’t work. No suggestions on the koodo forum worked either.

https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/setting-data-your-non-koodo-phone

As if a stroke of luck I figured it out for my phone (CAT S42) which is an android. If you haven’t been able to fix on your phone using these this is what I did.

Reset network settings.

Then follow steps on the link above… BUT instead of creating a new APN just go into the default one and change everything so it has the matching info from the link above.

My wife went through 3 Koodo staff trying to fix her MMS. Hope they pick up on this post because this is what it took. Appreciate you posting 😌

Thank you!!! This worked for me too. Definitely change the original Koodo APN, don’t make a new one (I tried that first and it din’t work)

Worked for me as well, I tried a lot of different things before this. Thank you!

I am unable to edit the original default APN, all greyed out. Making a new APN did not work. Resetting network, turning off phone, turning off WiFi, restarting. nothing works.

Any other suggestions? Stopping being able to send MMS Wed 28 Feb 2024.

Hi @Mackinlo

If you have one of the models listed in the article here https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/picturemessagingchanges, a device upgrade would be needed

Wonderful. Can’t afford a new phone. Thanks.

The weird thing is that I can send photos to Samsung phones, just not iPhone phones.

Why would that be?

Which device are you currently using? Did you recently switch from iPhone to Android?

No. I have an older android.

Resolved only by installing a different text messaging app (Google Messages was installed as default and had no APN settings).
