Hi so I moved to the states in July and cancelled my Koodo account. Is there any way I can get my old phone number back right now if it’s still available? I’m running into verification issues with some platforms where I didn’t update my number to a new one, so it’d be really helpful if I can get access to my old number.

I just switched over from Virgin to Koodo. I can see that getting a hold of someone at Koodo is going to be problematic going forward as even their call back system hasn’t actually called me back at the time they said they would.I tried porting over the number online but I constantly get an error message and to try again later. Anyone have experience with this issue? Am I wasting my time here and should I go to a Koodo store? Can they fix this at the Koodo store or do I have to try and get a hold of someone online?Thank-you.

Hello, I received a new Pixl 6a from Koodo a few months ago and it appears that my WiFi caling is no longer working. It previously worked on my Pixl 4a. I’ve tried restarting my phone and re-enabling wifi calling but the phone keeps telling me to contact my carrier... Is there a setting that needs to be changed on my account?  

Just ported over yesterday from Virgin. My iphone fails with ‘1’ longpress or voicemail button. I read someone may have to reset my service. Anyone help me this? Cheers

I signed up a new iPhone 11 at Walmart on Nov 25. Today I found out it’s a used phone. Warranty has expired 367 days ago and was activated by someone else in 2020, which was confirmed with Apple. What the hell? Phone sold out at Walmart. What to do? Any advise?

Hi,I just got a new koodoo mobile sim card at the mall yesterday and lost it.  Is there anyway to get another free sim card or cancel the lost sim.  I try online self option no option.  I try call back chat, just tells me no need call back.  I went back to the koodoo phone booth and they told me call in couldn’t reach anyone that can help just a system keep telling me go on chat and chat doesn’t lead anywhere.  Would be nice if someone can point me to cancel this number or a live agent?

HI,The calls from my doctor are going straight to voice mail for some reason (most relevant on Nov 23rd, 2022). All other calls are working normally.Was there Koodo issues that would have been relevant to this issue? I am not aware of any phone configuration I made that would have caused this.Thanks!

Hi Everyone.. This might be a dumb question, but if a phone is locked to Telus can I pput a SIM card in for Koodo and use it or does the phone need to be unlocked?

I just signed up for Koodo an hour ago. Got a plan with a Pixel 6a. I’m moving my current number to Koodo. I need to add a second line. I was not given login details for Koodo? When I check my order status it says "Your order is being verified by our reps. We'll call you if we need any information from you. " I tried signing up for self serve with the chat bot but it says my phone number and postal code do not match, even though they are correct.Can somebody help me sign up for self serve so I can add a second line please? I have noticed that sometimes a extrange circular multicolor light ring appears around the rear camera of mu TCL 20 pro 5g. It stays on and is annoying at night, when watching videos, etc.  I did a factory reset and the light is still there.  The strange thing is that it disappears when the screen is off for several hours.  Has anyone noticed this? 

Help! My phone number suddenly stopped working! I received an SMS earlier today saying 'welcome to public mobile'. I thought it was spam. However, a few minutes ago my phone service died. Why has my phone service stopped working? There are no outages in my area. My bill is paid in full. My SIM cannot even dial 911. Has public mobile attempted to port my active phone number?

I remember a few months ago selecting an option to reduce spam calls. Now callers that are not in my contacts need to dial a digit they are told by a machine (e.g., “to make this call, dial 4”), before the call goes through. Some businesses have systems to route calls, and are unable to reach me on my cell. I looked everywhere I can think of and cannot find how to cancel this option?

While roaming in Mexico using my Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G, I was unable to connect to a network. Message was something like “SIM cannot connect to network”. My wife with her S10 had no connection issues. I matched her settings exactly, but was unable to connect. This morning, Koodo replaced the SIM card in my phone. Short of going back to Mexico, is there a way for me to test that the connection issue is resolved?

I've recently moved into a condo in a new city and the intercom is linked to my phone. When people ring my unit, they get a recorded message that it's a long distance number, blah blah.  How do I fix it?

Hi there, we’ve got the ZTE WF721 unit for our home phone and it has suddenly developed an annoying habit of losing connection.  Pick up the phone and no dial tone, box has full signal, looks fine.  Turn box off and back on and that fixes it.  Is my unit suddenly defective?  Should I just take it to a Koodo kiosk somewhere and ask for a replacement?  It’s well over a year since we’ve signed up.

Just joined Koodo, and I have noticed that I can’t access the internet with just data.  I usually have only 2 signal bars and the network says 3G but I was told that the signal should be fine as Koodo uses the same towers as Telus.  It should read 4G and given that I am not at all in a remote area, I should at least be able to access my email or banking app with data.  Any suggestions?  Thinking I might have made the wrong choice switching to Koodo from Telus.  I have an iPhone 12.

I activated Call Forwarding from my personal Iphone to my work Iphone earlier in the day so i only had to carry 1 phone for my chores.  I turned it off in my personal Iphone in  options a number of hours ago but call forwarding is still enabled.  I also Tried restarting Phone off and that didn't help. When i call my number from my work iphone to my personal one   it goes to my phones email and doesn't ring  through on my personal. Im kind of stuck on how to get call forwarding turned off on my personal Iphone. And Koodo lacking ANY in house IT support doesn't help., So im hopinh someone in the community can help. 

Tried to activate a new sim card on a new phone using the self serve option and it asks for method (email or text) to send a 6 digit verification code. I select my email as I cannot locate my old phone. The reply is that I cannot use my email since it is less than 48 hours old. I have never changed my email with Kodoo!  Unsure how I can activate my new phone and new sim card? Thanks in advance for all replies

Hello,I use my Android phone to share the data to my laptop.  when I use laptop to connect to office VPN, the internet speed is very slow, and I can not open any web, even the VPN shows as connected.1, if I use my wife’s phone (Rogers)  to share the data to my laptop, the VPN works fine. 2, this situation happened on my home internet connection(Shaw) before. Shaw’s tech guy set my home router dedicated connected to an individual server which is compatible better with VPN, and it was fixed.I am wondering if anyone can give me some suggestion.
