Hi Everyone..

 

This might be a dumb question, but if a phone is locked to Telus can I pput a SIM card in for Koodo and use it or does the phone need to be unlocked?

Your TELUS device should work with  Koodo sim card.  Also, nowadays, it's pretty rare to still have locked devices as all devices sold after December 2017 are factory unlocked.
