I have noticed that sometimes a extrange circular multicolor light ring appears around the rear camera of mu TCL 20 pro 5g. It stays on and is annoying at night, when watching videos, etc. I did a factory reset and the light is still there. The strange thing is that it disappears when the screen is off for several hours. Has anyone noticed this?

Yes, but I didn´t find any setting related to dotch led notification or something similar
I checked out the user manual and tried searching around for it. I actually haven’t been able to find any mention of a user customizable notification ring. The TCL 20 pros do a edge screen lightup, so I actually don’t know. You may need to reach out to smartphone forums on what’s happening or contact TCL for hardware assistance.
If it’s been less than a year since you got it, you could try a warranty repair through Koodo.
