Does Koodo also keep a text message history up to 6 months?

How to retrieve last 6 months text messages without using your device? Does Koodo also keep text history in case we need it?

long distance charge

Why I was charged $3.05 a minute long distance call to Poland, when the call was not connected. I attempted to call twice about 3 minutes each time, but hanged up both times since there was no answer on the other side. In total I was charged over $18 just for attempting to call, without any connection.

What will happen if I add a TAB on existing plan

Hi, If I add a TAB on the existing plan, what will happen to my exisitng monthly credit on the exisitng plan? and also I was expecting to find an expiry date for the  monthly credits applied on my bill. However, online and also on the bill PDF it shows as "Mthly credit" with no date anywhere.thanks and have a great day!

Calling and messaging available but not data.

I recently got a prepaid plan for my old US iPhone 7. Texting and calling works, but I can't get my data to work at all. If I turn it on and load an application, it loads for a little before telling me there is no network connectivity.My APN is correct, and I have tried restarting my phone to no avail. What can I do?

Blocking voicemail from a number, but not use call screening?

I like the idea of call control blocking a specific number, as im being harrased from someone. So i Blocked their number but they still leave voicemail. But i dont like the idea of everyone else having to enter a number before calling me. All i want is to block a specific number from leaving voicemail, nothing extra. How can i do this?

Device Protection Plan

To cancel “Device Protection Plan” call 1 844 225 6333. Koodo does not have anything to do with it. It is insurance plan with mobile shop. Just want to share this info .

How do I activate new Koodo SIM card to existing account?

I have been travelling in Europe for a couple of months and had swapped out my Canadian Koodo SIM card for a local SIM cards in several countries while travelling. Now I have returned I have lost my original SIM card. However, I do have a Koodo replacement SIM card from when I upgrade from my old Samsung 9+ to a Samsung 23+. I put the new Koodo card in my phone but cannot use it as it says that the SIM card is not registered on the network.I went to the SIM manager on my phone and it recognizes the SIM as Koodo but with “unknown number”. However, it doesn’t allow me to (or I cannot find how to) enter my existing phone number. I have a monthly plan.  The Primary SIM is greyed out and unable to be edited.I cannot use my phone and need this fixed urgently!

How to add or edit APN on Razer Phone 2?

I have received messages from Koodo saying that I need to update the APN settings on my phone in order to remain compatible with group and picture messaging service.  However, I am using a Razer Phone 2 and there seems to be no way to edit or add a new APN on my device.  I followed the instructions provided by Koodo and I can see my current APN but there is no option to make changes or add a new one. Can anybody help with this?  I’m hoping I don’t have to switch to a new phone as I bought it less than 3 years ago and certainly wasn’t expecting to have to replace it already.

Is Koodo home internet using the same modem for all plans? If you want to upgrade speed can you just go online and change your plan?

Activating new eSIM from outside of Canada

I am in Mexico and my old Pixel 7 needs to be replaced.  I am using an eSIM for Koodo and  a physical SIM for the Telcel network.  My new phone is a Galaxy S23 and I will be switching the physical Telcel SIM to it and using a new Koodo  eSIM voucher to switch my Canadian number to the new phone.  My question is, will be able to activate the new eSIM without being connected to the Koodoo network?

Connection Fee Charge

We recently upgraded my daughters phone plan through a Koodo Kiosk. We paid for the connection fee once, but then now just got charged a second time. Avoid roaming for incoming 2FA with two sim cards?

I purchased an eSim for an upcoming international trip which I plan to use exclusively while away (except hopefully can still receive 2FA verification texts on my primary sim) but I need the proper settings for the iPhone device so I can receive texts for 2FA on the Koodo Sim without triggering Easy Roaming, and use the eSim for all my data needs. Can someone explain in simple terms the steps I need to follow? Assuming I’m a technology toddler here and need ALL the steps. My past experience has been to stay in Airplane mode, or remove one Sim for a local Sim, but with 2FA texts needed for practically everything these days, I’m embracing another #$@! learning curve. TIA

Re-use a Wireless Home Phone ZTE WF723CA hub

I had Wireless Home Phone for my Mother in an Assisted Care facility. This is a great solution for seniors.My Mother no longer needs the service. Can I give away / sell / reuse the ZTE Hub?The only option I see for a new Home Phone line requires buying the hub again. Bring your own device doesn’t seem to be an option.Can existing or new Koodo customers use my hub? If so, how?Thanks

I occasionally get special offers from Koodo via SMS for add-ons. This month I was offered a special data add-on which I'd like to add to my wife's plan but not mine. The method of accepting the offer is by replying to the text. Is there a way I can add the offer to my wife's plan without changing mine. Both our plans are identical otherwise, a fairly basic plan. Not receiving SMS while in China, was told Cellular Data is required?

My mother has a postpaid plan. She’s currently in China and mainly just needs to receive text messages for 2FA. Maybe she’ll send a text or two at some point. To avoid data charges, she’s got iphone Cellular Data turned off. EasyRoam is NOT added on.What IS showing on the Add-ons are: International Data Roaming … and International Voice Roaming are includedBut she’s unable to receive any text messages. I spent an hour with Koodo customer service/tech support today and was told that phones nowadays require data even for texting. That the only solution is to turn Cellular Data ON. However, my mom is reluctant to test and be subject to the $10/MB pay-per-use if it accidentally incurs data. And I find this advice dubious anyway.What’s the real issue / solution here? Or is tech support guy right?

Intermittent Home Phone Service

I recently got a Koodo home phone plan but the service has been intermittent. Sometimes it works well but unexpectedly it will not let me receive or make phone calls. I have tried the “reset” of taking out the SIM card and battery but that doesn’t fix the problem. The hub is not close to any electronics that might interfere with the signal. I usually have one or two bars as the cellular signal.

I suspect my number is being used virtually somehow. I have been receiving calls from strangers who says that they received a call from my number when I did not call them at all. I need to talk to a rep, but I keep getting a bot. How do I talk to a live human being? There aren’t any options for the problem that I am encountering.

Greetings to all, I have been using using Koodo tab for long years. But recently I am having a problem when I am going to connect it with my computer via USB cable. I am getting this error message “Windows does not recognize it.” I dont know what could be the issue. Could anyone please help me to fix it? Any kind of help would be highly appreciated.

Account Suspension

I need help as my account has been suspended because the credit card that was registered for auto top up was issued outside US & Canada, and I have no other cards to use. What are the services that will not work if my account is suspended? Is there any work around available for me without going to the physical store to solve the issue? Any answers are very much appreciated. :)

Add MMS text to $15 starter plan?

I just signed my son up for the $15 starter plan but all of his friends are sending MMS texts which he can’t read.  I’m assuming this is because they are pictures?  Is there a way to add this to the plan?  My other son has a grandfathered plan for $25 and pay-per-use Data but that doesn’t seem to be available anymore and it seems ridiculous to pay $35 for a talk & text only plan just so he can receive MMS texts.  Sounds like Public Mobile might be an option but I’d really rather not switch
