I recently got a Koodo home phone plan but the service has been intermittent. Sometimes it works well but unexpectedly it will not let me receive or make phone calls. I have tried the “reset” of taking out the SIM card and battery but that doesn’t fix the problem. The hub is not close to any electronics that might interfere with the signal. I usually have one or two bars as the cellular signal. 

Koodo wireless home phone operared on Koodo cellular network. If the cellular signal was weak in your house, the phone call would drop. 

If possible, I would try to move the box near windows and at a higher floor to see if it can improve.

If reseting the device, taking the sim or battery off did not improve the situation, we recommend the steps that @Dinh and if it still continues, we recommend to reach our Tech support team in order to troubleshoot the situation further.
