My account got suspended (not quite clear to me why as I enabled automatic payment). In order to reactivate my account I would need to schedule a call-back, however, they do not accept any international numbers? How exactly do people imagine that this should work if one is abroad?
So I ordered my SIM online. This is the only way I wish to order, as I don’t want to pay the connection fee, and I am able to get the best possible savings with a current online only promo. I have received an email that my order has been cancelled. I thought it was because I used a Visa Debit in my Credit Info, but according to Koodo that isn’t the issue. When I called Koodo, they only said it was due to a mismatch in my credit information…I don’t even have a credit account started with equifax. I have no credit. There is no information to mismatch. So I placed my order again and am posting this in anticipation of another cancellation. What do I do if this cancels again?
My boyfriend is in drumheller penitentiary and he's been trying to call me through a collect call but my phone doesn't even ring or let me know anyone is trying to call me collect is this a setting I can change on my phone or possibly something to do with my plan? Thanks.
I have been charged twice and will likely be charged this month for an in-app purchase from Mobiversity which I did not authorize. When the initial text was received on April 13th, 2022 I assumed it was a scam text, therefore did not respond to either the sign up number or the cancel instructions. When I go to their webite the contact and FAQ links show error 404, so I presume this is a scam. Reading other customer comments, I see Kodo’s recommendation was to cancel by sending a stop message to 5415, which I have now done. However, I want to be assured that Kodo will not allow a further charge to go through, as I have advised both the bogus Mobiversity as well as Kodo and do not authorize either to charge this to my credit card. Please acknowledge!
I pick a phone on self serve, and see it is a promo, and is available on all three plans. So I pick the phone, try to add it to kart on tab but it does nothing. It says it is available on basic plan at $32 per month and I am paying $45 so I should be able to get it on mid tab. Why doesn’t it work as it says?BTW I have TWO phones now at $45 on each phone, I only want to replace one of them.I bought one already on self serve and returned it as new in 1 day. But have heard nothing about that phone for weeks. Are you guys slack on service or what? Rc
I put my number on seasonal hold on the 26th of June, as I left Canada for the next 6 months or more. But now I've tried to log in to an online account and it wants to send a security code to my Canadian number, but obviously I can't recieve it, and I cant reactivate my account as I'm only allowed to change my plan once per billing cycle, and I can't speak to anyone at Koodo. Can anyone help? Any help would be much appreciated!
Paybymobile is a SCAM service. Charged $13.99 on my bill pbm.cx (1 event). some sort of gamiing subscription service I did not authorize or sign up form
$13.99 plus GST 0.70 received on my June 2022 bill. PBM.CX (1 event) from paybymobile. Phoned koodo and they said it was from June 13th. This type of service is thru internet ad?. It says I must confirm by text message to access the service. I have all my text messages backed up. No unknown numbers or responses on June 13th. website paybymobile.com is a FRAUD set up , with very little information. Left a message on the 1-844-336-1188 phone contact Koodo suppplied, no response and they do not identify themselves. Also emailed the email@example.com to have them cancel their BS scam charges.

I currently have a $50 plan with Koodo and am using a Pixel 4. I’m thinking of just buying a new Pixel 6 pro and swapping out the sim card. I’m hoping it’s that easy, however I’m not sure the best way to go about it. The pixel 6 pro is listed for 1129.99 at Bestbuy. I’m wondering if there is a cheaper way to purchase this phone. Can I buy directly from Koodo for a discount? Is paying it down by way of a tab cheaper than paying up front? Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thank you.
Dear Koodo,Ive notice during my time under your coverage my service is terrible. If it wasnt for Wifi, i would completley unable to use my phone in my own home. Across Barrie, my service is limited to typically 1 bar, and at my own work i get no coverage at all. Just overall i am disapointed in the service i have been recieving. I had been overpaying for 4 GB of data per month when it would have costed me LESS to have 5 GB of data but i was never made aware of this. I also added another phone to my plan for my girlfriend, in which, she got all the deals and discounts where i got nothing as the one that onboarded her. If nothin changes I will be consulting other options of cellphone providers in the coming months. Alot that was promised to me during signup never came to fruition and i am just overall disapointed and frustrated.-Dan
I set up a time with Koodo callback and they did call me so I pressed 1 to talk to someone and it just kept ringing and ringing and nothing happened. How can I contact them. I have also tried messaging on Facebook messenger as well. I don’t know what to do now. I just want to get my own plan and get off my step-dads
On June 17th at 12:54 am (when I was not even awake) I was charged $13.99 for something called “Application Store Service 1.0000 events “How do I get this removed from my bill and how do I make sure it doesn’t show up again next month.I did not receive and reply to any text asking me to subscribe to anything.
I'm in Victoria, BC in the cedar hill and Shelbourne neighbourhood. My LTE signal strength shows two bars but I'm constantly getting calls that go straight to VM or hung up on because the other party can't hear me (or says I'm cutting out). I also can't seem to browse the internet on data in my neighbourhood and my text messages will occasionally go unsent (no Idea if I'm missing some). I have no trouble in any other area of the city. It seems like an issue with the tower in my neighbourhood.... Who do I talk to? I can't get past the front line cx service?
How do you turn off easy roam if you’re not back in Canada yet? I understand you have to do it in setting and click your carrier but I am not back in Canada yet. I only want to use the easy roam when I desperately need it. No sense in paying 12 dollars a day when I don’t really need it. Does keeping my phone on airplane mode work? Any tips would help!
My June bill arrived with an extra $14.99 added above my usual monthly rate. It was explained as Application Store service------at 2:01am!!!! I am sleeping by 10:30pm . What is the Application Store and what would they be doing for me that I hadn’t requested---especially at THAT hour??
I try to log in but my password doesn't work. So I reset password and try again with the new password and it still doesn't work. This happens to me constantly and thus makes it impossible to check my account, change my service or upgrade . This has happened to me a dozen times . And Koodo assistance sucks
Every time my wife and I travel to the US, when she gets back to Canada, she gets charged roaming for text messages and sometimes phone calls when her data roaming is never on outside of Canada and she only uses WiFi. Can you not send text messages (SMS) for free over Wifi outside of Canada? How can you send text messages without being charged roaming? THX.
