online upgrade plan scam— help

I just did online upgrade plan only,  the new plan before I clicked confirm button is different than the final one. And it’s a downgrade one with even higher price. What a scam, and I need an explanation please.   The final plan I got is $40 with can only and 20G. I rather stay my old plan seriously.  Someone please help.

It is extremely unlikely you are able to change back to your old plan, but I will flag a rep to look into this and confirm the details of your new plan.

Since you mentioned the difference in the plan before and after changing the plan, Can you share more about it? 

Additionally, does your new plan offer an option to receive a $10 credit if you set up preauthorized payment with Koodo? (With the use of a normal checking account - not a credit card.)

Yes. I read very carefully and I even set up my new bank account  for auto pay ( I was on credit card auto pay)  

This is what happened:  I was checking upgrade section to see anything new, I saw plan $35 with $10 credit ( auto pay setup) 20 G Canada wide.  I click that, I choose my free perk then click next,  it shows me the screenshot I posted at the top.  I was surprised  to see the plan converted to the $40 with can USA Mex 60G and $10 credit . It goes down to $30 . This is the plan that best buy or everywhere else offering.  I read carefully twice and click confirm button. Then the nightmare comes. The final plan is $40 with 20G can only.  I checked everywhere, my email, everywhere saying I m getting the $40. 20G.  I m very upset.  It’s official website, and I m a loyalty customer, I was happy I can get a nice plan since I choose the stay a Koodo. I m not hesitating to click the confirm.   Thank god I screen shoot the picture before I click the confirm. It may be too good to be true. I guess it’s the time to move on and switch , if no one cares about the scam game for existing customers.

As far as I know, those promotional plan is open for new customer only, not sure how it is showed up as a available plan in plan change of existing customers.

U can check ur self service, it may show up to all customers.

I didn’t get upgrade plan which I saw in my list, and online chat is totally not helpful at all. I hope someone here can help me for this.

Did you show the rep a screenshot of the plan that was it was suppose to be for?

Are they saying in anyway that it did not happen or that it did happen and they cant go back to change it?

What does it say on your Customer Service Agreement? Do you have a screenshot of the original offer on your Self-Serve account? ​@Darius Koodo mentioned that your inquiry was addressed earlier.

There is no way to show the a screenshot during online chat and agent said it’s a plan for new activation, not for me. He can offer me same plan but $50 per month. I refused.

I was chatting online with Koodo agent. He couldn’t help more he said it’s a plan for new activation.  The 1st screen shoot was exactly what I will get before I click the confirm button.

Well, I am looking  for other carriers right now. It is sad things happen like this.  Nowhere to complain. Koodo not seems to help.   Online agent is not helpful, all they can do is offer me $50 plan instead of what shows on my self service list.
