New Edge 2025 - No Login on banking app

My wife and I each received our new Motorola Edge 2025 phones from Koodo. We installed our Credit Union banking apps on our phones. When you go to login a wheel spins for a second and then stops. There is no way to get the login screen to launch. I have researched online, even with AI help, to find a solution but so far I haven't been successful. It is apparently an issue with this model of phone since both phones have the same problem. Provincial Credit Union is the app. Anyone have a fix?

Try starting with the basics that often fix this:

  1. Clear app cache/data: Go to Settings > Apps > Provincial Credit Union > Storage > Clear cache, then Clear data (you’ll need to log in fresh after). Force stop the app too.
  2. Update everything: Check Play Store for app updates (search Provincial Credit Union).

Can you open Chrome on the phone and try to log into the bank with it? If you can log into it normally, the issue wasn’t from the phone (or wifi network) but the app itself.

Robert I had already done the steps you mentioned and others. Still no go. The web version does work but not as convenient. I contacted the developer of the app and they have an open ticket regarding my model of phone. I guess I'll have to wait till they have a fix.

Could it be possible that you installed a VPN on your phone, which may have affected your settings? Is there any way to disable it to see if it works?
