I suspect my number is being used virtually somehow.
I have been receiving calls from strangers who says that they received a call from my number when I did not call them at all.
I need to talk to a rep, but I keep getting a bot. How do I talk to a live human being? There aren’t any options for the problem that I am encountering.
More likely your phone number (not your actual phone) is being spoofed. I had it happen years ago - people were receiving calls from my number - I even received one. It eventually stopped when the scammer moved on. I don't think there is much that can be done other than changing your number, which I didn't want to do so I waited it out.
Even changing your number doesn’t guarantee it’ll stop. Any number can be spoofed anytime. Unfortunately it’s one of those things to ride out. You can certainly still speak with a rep by going on Koodo Assist to request a callback, but they won’t be able to prevent your number from being spoofed.
