Hi,I am travelling to the US with my family and would like to be able to text as needed.  But the 11/day seems crazy where it might only be a couple of texts over the course of the vacation.I see there’s a 10/100 texts for pay per use option - how do I ensure I use that instead so I’m not charged 11/day to send one text?Is there another option that would make more sense? TIA

Previous Plan:100 MB dataAdd-on: 250 MB for $2/monthChanged Plan to:2 GB dataAfter I verified the plan changed in my account I checked my usage: 0 / 2GBI then noticed the 250 MB add-on was still on my account. Since I don’t need that add-on anymore and no longer want to be charged for it, I removed it. After I verified the add-on was removed I go to usage and it shows: 0 / 1.7GBIt looks like removing the add-on after changing my plan incorrectly removed data from the base plan of 2GB. Obviously, I would like my data to be set back to 2GB as per my plan and not be charged the $2 for the 250 MB.Thanks...   

I'm waiting for my new phone it's being delivered by UPS and all of the sudden now the tracking says this. Does anyone know what this means? 

I was looking to upgrade plans and one is 20GBs at 4G LTE speed and another is 20GBs at 4G speed, I asked a rep over the phone and she didn’t sound like she knew, just said that they’re “pretty much the same”, obviously if they’re giving you the option between 1 or the other then there is a difference, is one better than the other?

If I am located in USA, am I able to activate a new line and immediately start roaming?

So I made a mistake of adding roaming boosters on my prepaid account and then found out that I couldn’t even use it since it’s only available in Canada and USA (only found out when I got to my destination), so now I don’t really know what options I have for either converting to postpaid or something since I need my number to be able to do my online banking since they don’t send 2FA on like an email or an app authenticator p.s. it’ll be awhile before I get back into Canada

I recently started volunteering at a crisis line. During out shifts calls are forwarded to our phone numbers via a private line. Callers call a public number, select 1 to access the crisis line, and then are patched through to us. However when I am on call the calls are blocked - it says "Sorry the line is busy" even though I'm not on the phone on my end.  How can I solve this problem?

Hi,I am on a Koodo Plan for Canada, but I will visit Turkey soon. I was wondering whether it is possible for me to receive SMS messages from Canada when I am there.I am not planning to use my Koodo Sim Card actively when I am there. So, I do not want to pay daily for some extra international service for weeks, but I will definitely need to receive messages for connecting to some of my online accounts for dual authentication. Would you be so kind as to inform me about this? Hi,At the cottage - the cell signal is pretty weak.  We’re surrounded byI currently have a cell phone signal booster made for cars/trucks.  It works sometimes and other times it doesn’t.  It seems to be a random thing or if I’m lucky. Without the booster - there is no service at all.  With the booster - I can (sometimes) get “two bars” and make calls and send text messages.   The calls do sometimes get dropped - and other times we can talk for 30min and more.  This car/truck booster uses a “omni-directional” antennae.I’m considering getting another cell signal booster that’s made for home/cottage use.  It comes with a Yagi antennae.I read that Yagi (directional) antennae are better at picking up weak signals - BUT it has to be aimed directly at the cell tower. Does anyone have experience with cell phone signal boosters?  - using a directional “Yagi” antennae?Thanks.mjl  

Hello everyone! I was reading online that there is a Senior’s Discount for Koodo for basic cell phone coverage.  It’s $25CAD.  Can I make the change from my plain basic plan to the seniors discounted plan online thru self serve or must I please to a live person?

I bought a prepaid 60$ plan at a Koodo booth Then lost my sim I bought a new one the next day but I haven’t made a self serve account yet how do I make one if I can’t access the account phone number and 

I am trying to activate koodo sim card call barring features on my Samsung phone. It is asking for password and nothing works. I tried no password, 1111,0000,1234,5678 and many others. Do you have any idea what is koodo mobile default  call barring password? I never use it before, I never set or changed sim card pins.

Help, my sim card just stopped working. It says its not in my google pixel which I have had for awhile now. Sim card reads in my old phone no problem. Doesn’t need to be updated, have reset the phone many times, no calls in or out. What can I do?

Hi I’m a koodo customer who is using data plans only. My phone is already prepaid from other country so I added data plans only. And because of that, I had no acess to use tab ( monthly paying phone plans). Finally, Koodo verified me as a monthly customer so I get to make a tab plans for phone too. I tried to buy Iphone13 but it take 2 weeks to ship. There is only 3 Koodo shops in Toronto. Should I visit Koodo shop to see if there is phone left in inventory? Or can I visit Telus since Koodo is belong to Telus? I don’t want to change data plans. I only have to get a new phone with tab plans. Can Telus workers change plans for the Koodo customers? 

I ordered a new phone on June 16th.  My tab balance has changed and in self serve it says that I have ordered the phone.  I never received an email with a confirmation so I cant track the order.  I did check junk.  When I try to use the chat it asks if I received the email, I say no, it says if your order went through you will have received an email, check your junk.  If I try to respond to that message it acts like it is a new question assuming that for sure answered my problem.

I dont get a email that my bill is due 

I am currently in Europe abroad and I am using another data plan now while I’m abroad. I have my data roaming turned off, yet I’m still getting these email messages saying that I’m roaming with Koodo when in fact it is turned off. I just got charged $480 equivalent to $15 a day with easy roaming. I DID NOT add easy roaming to my plan whatsoever, so I shouldn’t be getting these charges. I also have a different cell plan activated now while I’m abroad so I shouldn’t be using my Koodo data. I want my money back or at least a fraction of it back. If you don’t help me settle this I’m considering switching carriers when I’m back because I just felt like I’ve been given unknown charges behind my back.  thank you Chris

When people phone me they have to put in one digit,  as prompted by an automated voice,  before the call will get through to me.  I don't want this feature and have no idea how to remove it.  I am missing very important calls as a result,  please help me.

Hello fellow koodos I am looking at purchasing a Samsung smartwatch to use with my Samsung S20 on the koodo network but I'm a little confused as to whether the whether the LTE network is actually working for those watches or not Can someone please help me or should I just get the Wi-Fi version.

Hi, I don’t know if I’m posting in the right sub forum, but hopefully this is the one!I am in the process of a divorce, which was mostly completed when my ex left our shared account, breaking the contract on her phone and incurring a $550 charge (tax included). At this time, I was in complete bed rest in the hospital for the third consecutive week.Is there any way to have the bill resent with her name properly on it this time? The one I have has her phone number on it, but given it is my name (as I was the primary on the shared account), she is using this to not pay it. If this is not possible, I will look for another avenue to retrieve this money from her.Thanks in advance!
