Does steam+ run off my home network or off the data on my phone plan?

Hi there,I have a unlimited Canada-wide plan with Koodo, but this is the second month that I’m being  overcharged for the Airtime service.I’m sick and tired of paying extra fees for different services, without my information or permission,  and am thinking about switching to another service provider. Can you please help me to understand what Airtime is and how I can get rid of this service????

I'm currently on a 12GB 4G plan that is not capped, I see a newer plan for $60 with 20GB but it says it's now capped at 100Mbps.You think it would be a noticeable difference for a heavyish user?Did a speed test and it was around the 360 down and 60 up mark though that may mostly be bogus, just not sure if I should make the switch if quality of use goes down. 

I am not able to change existing base plan $30 at 4G speed to $40 at 4G speed. How can I just pay the difference amount and use the updated  base plan  $40 at 4G speed with the same plan expiry date?  This feature is available with Rogers, Chatr. I do not want to forfeit existing amount and start a new plan.  2022

While looking at different plans, I instantly get a pop upA rate plan change is scheduled Does this mean my plan is going up in price?

Hello,I very recently got the 15GB data plan, and this is my first time having data. When I checked the usage tab to see if I can start using the data, it says 0/6.5GB. My bill cycle is July 11-August 10, and I switched my plan July 30. Is it not showing the full 15GB because it’s still between the cycles/It will show the full amount by August 11? If so, am I still ok to use the 6.5GB of data?Thanks in advance!

I received an email from Koodo with instructions on how to return my phone. But there was no printing label attached. There was a link but it was broken, went to a 400 error. Do I need a label or will they print one at Canada Post? Do I need to provide an address? There is a Telus return policy number. Is this all I need? 

Hi everyone, I had 10 gb plan, Wednesday l changed for a 12 gb but the limit that appeared in my account was 4Gb. Yesterday l changed to a new offer, 15 gb, but still remains the 4gb in my account. My billing cycle finish next 5th August. My data consum till now is almost 4gb and l've been beginning to be charged for extra data use from yesterday. How l can modify that 4gb limit that stills appears in my account after changing plans?? Thank you

I’m travelling. Data paused at 100%.I want to upgrade my plan and get a new phone. Will the new plan be on my current phone (and with data started back up) until i get home to set up the new phone?

Is there a way to add more than just 1GB of additional data? I know I will need more, and I would like to add a bunch at once, but cannot seem to find it.

I can’t view pictures sent on texts or download them either. I did what the virtual assistant suggested…..still doesn’t work. 

I can call all numbers except for somebody on a freedom mobile network. Has anyone else had this problem? And how do I resolve it as a call somebody on freedom regularly?

how long does it take to receive my sim card that i bought online, it was send july 22 and i still didn’t get it.

HiI’m new to Koodo (switching over from a different provider) and recently ordered two SIM cards for two different plans. Both cards arrived but have no way to tell which one is associated with which plan.  I guess my first question is:  are the different SIM’s plan specific at this point (not in the phones yet)?If so, how do I tell which is which?Thanks

I always pay my Koodo bill at the first of the month, just a habit. My bill always shows a balance of 0 so there is never a due date on it. My billing cycle is the 1st of the month to the last of the month. When is my actual due date with this billing cycle, I can’t find it anywhere,Thanks for any help!

Hello,I am wondering if Koodo reps call customers with new promotions? I have had my current phone for a while now and had a phone call today from a Koodo rep talking about new promotions. I am just making sure it is no scam. Thanks!  

I have two SIMs, have no idea which is which, and just get idiotic phone bots and chat bots. How do I get to talk to an actual human being, however warmed over?

Last Dec,21, purchased a refurbished iPhone XR. Didn’t use it for the first six months. Finally started using it and the lower microphone isn’t working. Just spent a lengthy night between a Telus store and the Apple store only to get no help. The Apple store did confirm the phone isn’t working and that the Apple warrenty did run out but both Telus and Apple says not something they can help with. I still have warrenty according to Koodo but no one can give me any answers. Need some ideas. 

Hello,I am currently in Pakistan and just add on international roaming on it . I just need to receive text message, plan itself for international roaming is 15$ per days .Is there any economical plan considering just for text message??

can i keep my existing number from telus prepaid to koodo starter plan

I got a new SIM card(monthly-billed) for an ASUS Zenfone 5Z that was working fine on Fizz network(unlocked phone, not bought from Fizz).  I transferred my old phone number from Fizz to Koodo and the transfer did work as my self-serve account phone number is now my old phone number but I did not received the welcome SMS from Koodo.  When I put my new SIM card in my phone, I had 3 APNs, Telus, Koodo and Public Mobile, none of them would connect to the network, ‘Emergency Calls Only” is displayed on top left corner.  I  made a new APN as per the “Setting up data on a non-Koodo phone” page, won’t connect.  Airplane mode is off, Do Not Disturb mode is off, I removed and re-installed the SIM card, reset my network settings, restarted the phone, switched it off-on, etc still no luck.  Tried making new APNs with Koodo APN settings from the web, nothing is working.  I put the Koodo SIM in a Samsung A13 and still no network.  Thanks for your help 

Hello!!! I travelled to Ireland in June and even though I have easy roam, my phone was unable to connect to data. I could only use wifi when it was available. This has never happened in all the countries I’ve visited. It was stressful and unsafe - not being able to use my phone when outside of a wifi zone. I could not even call Koodo or anything because data was not connecting. I had my data roaming on and everything, I’ve done this so many times but it just did not work in Ireland. Thoughts? I should mention that this was the first time travelling with my new iPhone, which I purchased directly from Apple and not from Koodo-my previous phones were purchased directly from Koodo. Not sure if that makes a difference? Nothing has changed with my Koodo plan. 

What can I do if I keep getting text messages with downloads to my number.  I just got the number a week ago,  and have not gave the number to anyone yet.
