Charged incurred by my ex

Hi, I don’t know if I’m posting in the right sub forum, but hopefully this is the one!

I am in the process of a divorce, which was mostly completed when my ex left our shared account, breaking the contract on her phone and incurring a $550 charge (tax included). At this time, I was in complete bed rest in the hospital for the third consecutive week.

Is there any way to have the bill resent with her name properly on it this time? The one I have has her phone number on it, but given it is my name (as I was the primary on the shared account), she is using this to not pay it. If this is not possible, I will look for another avenue to retrieve this money from her.

Unfortunately not. To have a line transferred into her name she would need to call into Koodo with you to have it transferred, get a credit check done, etc but you wouldn’t be able to get her name on it without her consent.
