Avoid $11/day fee for texting in US

Hi,

I am travelling to the US with my family and would like to be able to text as needed.  But the 11/day seems crazy where it might only be a couple of texts over the course of the vacation.

I see there’s a 10/100 texts for pay per use option - how do I ensure I use that instead so I’m not charged 11/day to send one text?

Is there another option that would make more sense?

You would want to login to your self serve and remove the US easy roam add-on. Without that, you would be on the pay-per-use rates.

The only other alternative is to buy a prepaid sim card in the US.
