i am physically in Ontario, but somehow I have been getting prompted no US roaming for my plan when trying to make phone call. Can’t receive calls either. not sure what is the issue. any ideas? thanks in advance.

Hey there,I just moved to koodo.I tried a speed test because the mobile Internet seemed to rush. I barely got 4mb in download... my brother next to me is with koodo for years. He did a speed test on his 4G, he got 125 mb in download... I put my SIM card in his phone, we did a speed test, 4-5mb again. Conclusion : the issue is not my phone, it's my plan! Now I read on reddit a huge amount of feedback from people complaining of the same thing. So I'm here to get some help because I've been promised 4G speed so I want 4G speed lol.  Is it slow because I just moved to koodo and need to wait a bit for setup to be completed and all this or is there anything else? Earlier this evening, when trying to connect on data, it said "connected, no internet". I already tried to reset many mobile settings like network type, APNs, etc. I restarted the phone and all. Now, when connecting on Mobile data, it says "4G" instead of "no internet" but the speed is still terrifyingly low. Thanks to anyone who wil

When i call someone, the location display only shows “Canada”. But other phone numbers are showing eg. Toronto, Ontariomay i know how to enable showing city and province? Is there any tweaks on iphone?my area code is 437 to supplement.

We live in the middle of Advanced 4G LTE zone but are getting only 3G service.  About to switch providers if this isn’t resolved.

I am not sure.thanks

Hi! I need a rep to add volte to the newest line on my account please. Thanks!

Hi Koodo Kommunity,I recently went backwoods camping with a friend and wasn’t able to connect with any kind of service (which is understandable).  However, my friend had reception and she is with Rogers.  Shouldn’t my phone have been able to connect with her coverage if mine is unavailable?  My data was set to active as was my phone’s roaming option.  I also manually attempted to connect to Rogers.  I just assumed that if I’m not able to connect with my service that I would be able to hop onto another provider’s.  Or is this not the case? Thanks,Clayton

My ex spouse needed to get a new phone, but his phone is in an account under my name. He contacted Koodo, didn’t have access to my drivers license and couldn’t remember my birthday. Because he didn’t have the needed info, he ordered a phone on line (from Koodo).  When I contacted Koodo about this they told me to shut the account down. He was abusive with violent tendencies, and I was fearful that he would retaliate if I shut the account down.  He hasn’t paid an outstanding balance which is reflected on my credit rating. I contacted Koodo and asked them if they could write off those charges because I had contacted them about him fraudulently obtaining a new phone under my name. I was told because he had paid some bills they could not do that. This left me with the impression that Koodo will allow someone access to a new phone (who is not the account holder) as long as the bill is paid. Once the bill is not paid that’s when they seem to care.

Grandfather was given this phone to replace his broken one, tossed his SIM in and its asking me to unlock it from Koodo, he cant remember who gave him the phone and unfortunately I dont live near him. Is there a AIO lock code for these things?  I tried searching online but its all asking for money to unlock it and because I’m not a Customer, I cant unlock it via Self Help?Current wait for a callback is 2 hours, currently in que .  Wondering if anyone here has any ideas or can help?

Operator of Koodo Telus made a huge mistake and disconnected my previous number to connect my wife s number on this SIM, and my wife still have temporary SIM number. My sim has her number. And my number is not active. I need you to fix it right now! I can't use my number!!!

How can I add on a new person with applying for a new Koodo mobile number under my existing account as a family plan

I switch to 5G plan and restart my iPhone X (IOS16.6) several times, but the voice and data setting shows only LTE/3G.

I just swapped my plan to a 5G plan on a pixel 7. My speeds using 5G are measuring slower than if I force my phone to use 4G. Any advice?

Has anyone received this message lately? I can’t find it on the know fraud community and want to know if I need to be concerned.  messageKoodo: We've received a request to transfer a wireless phone number on your account to another service provider. We've sent a text msg request to the wireless user to approve the request. This message is for your information only . Thank you. thanks!!

I just heard all of my colleagues receive an emergency alert (not a test) and I did not.  Can anyone help please?  This has been the case with my last two iPhones.  Currently on an iPhone 11 and it is updated.  Thank you!

Hello Team,The apartment where I live has this phone access where one can punch in a unit number and it would dial to my phone. Then I’ll pick up the call, able to talk to the caller, and if i wish to open the front door for them to get it (friends, delivery driver), then I press button 9 on the keypads.  It worked once before during the demonstration, but now it doesn’t. The apartment manager said it could be something to do with the phone provider, and i should contact to get a reset or something.please advise.  thank you. Khiem.

im a Koodo customer for the past 12 months- i wanted to get a plan fir my partner- we use the same credit card but she got rejected at the credit check- makes no sense

Had a call this morning from a number in my area, very nice lady asking me questions, because she had a call from my phone # that was phishing for visa information,  She was calling to let me know, was not asking anything personal , just a friendly mention.I would like to know if there is anything I can do to block this from happening.  I use the phone mainly for business, and would not like anyone to get this kind of call from what appears to be my number. Thanks,

I just got a new Android phone Samsung 13A, I’ve downloaded apps.  I’ve been trying to increase my income so I’ve been trying apps, some apps are brand new to the market.  I had a phone through Koodo for 5 years until May and never had a virus.  But wasn’t using as many apps before.  I have like a stock trading app, a few games that I enjoy and have gotten paid.  But what do I do?  If I clean it maybe it will do more damage.

Need help this is so frustrating can't talk to any one on getting my wifi calling to work and says my number not recognized for verification code

How do i block my number so it isn’t displayed on the phones i’m calling ?

I am a monthly customer with an old 3g Samsung Galaxy J3. I received a call telling me I need to upgrade, now have a Iphone 14 Pro but online it looks like the sim card is not transferable. I want to keep the same number, how do I know if sim card will fit and is it cheaper to order online? Tried a call but did not understand answer, I may go back to Bell.

Been with Telus since it was AGT and we recently switched from Telus to Koodo for our mobile phones (on Telus’s advice, to save $$).  We noticed a real degradation in speed and functionality:  no response from Touch Screen for 10 minutes; asking for password with no keyboard; “no server available” on multiple apps.  Wondering if anyone else experienced the same difference in service and how you handled it.

Hi All, I recently followed these instructions to update my phone’s Access Point Name for Picture and Group messaging compatibility:This link under the tab “Updating Android settings for picture and group messaging compatibility”https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/picturemessagingchangesPicture and group messaging works fine but my hotspot would no longer work for connected devices. They could connect but would not have access to the internet. I did multiple restarts of devices, tried two laptops, changed the hotspot password, and forgot the network on the connecting device, no luck. I switched back to the original settings and my hotspot is working fine.Any thoughts? Using a Nokia G21. Thanks!
