Switch to 5G plan, eSIM not updated

Hi,

I just switched to the 5G plan, however the eSIM I have is not showing the 5G option (only 3G/LTE).

FYI I am on Carrier Setting “Koodo 53” and there is no update. What should I do?

What kind of phone are you using?

I am using iPhone 13 on iOS 16.3. I changed the plan few hours ago.

Yes, this is the screen. Only 3G and LTE available even after tried to restart the phone.

Have you tried restarting the phone as goran mentioned above?

You can also try disabling and reenabling the esim, and resetting your network settings to see if any of those get the setting to kick in for you.

Thanks for the information. After updating to iOS 16.6, the 5G option is now available.
