Plan was changed after I changed my payment.

few days ago I wanted change my payment method, and I cancel the Pre-authorized Payment,  and I found the plan was changed from 29 to 35.  what happened to my account?

no data. Temporarily turned off by carrier

For the past day or 2 my phone (google pixel 5) has been giving my constant notices as seen in the title and is switching non-stop between hspa and LTE.I’ve double checked the APN is correct. Restarted the phone multiple times. Nothing sticks. If I switch airplane mode off and on (or reboot) it’ll smarten up for a while, but give it 20-30 minutes and it starts acting up againAny ideas?

I am here in Canada for only 6 months and got a koodo sim card. I don’t have a Canadian credit card nor do I have a Canadian bank account. I have a Revolut card using which I make the payments. I am not able to make the payment for my plan via this card. What shall I do?

Why have I been double charged for switching plans?

I switched to a cheaper plan the other day and I’ve now been billed the full amount for both plans as oppose to just the new one. I’m about to cancel Koodo in the next week, so how do I get this removed from my bill before it’s due?

Stream+ keeps activating when I don't want it

For the past 5 months, Stream+ keeps activating itself & charging me. I have myself, my husband and both my parents on my account and all four are being charged for Stream+. I have called in 3 times to have them take it off & reimburse me and the keep assuring me it won’t happen again. They keep asking if it’s someone in my family activating it and 100% it is not. The last person I spoke with insisted I change my password (which I did) saying perhaps my account was hacked. I’m at my whit's end with this. It is so difficult to actually get someone on the phone & I’m sick of having to deal with this. Seriously considering switching to another provider if this can’t be solved. Now today, the chat function to schedule a call back is not working so I can’t even deal with it. Has anyone else had this issue?

Offered S23 deal, but can't keep current plan

I am a LONG time Koodo customer and I received a text message that I can get a CPO Galaxy S23 for $5 a month, $0 up front.  I would absolutely do this and commit to Koodo for another 2 years if I could keep my current plan, but they expect me to change my $34/50gb plan to $60 minimum.  This is a slap in the face.  I recently ported my son out of Koodo for a better deal elsewhere and I am seriously considering doing this to my own plan.  Why offer me this click bait and then expect me to almost double my monthly plan bill?   Koodo I am truly disappointed with you.

YouTube not working on hotspot for it for kids tablets

My Koodo IP shows I'm in Quebec Montreal but I'm located in Ontario Ottawa. If I try to hotspot my phone the kids Samsung tablets both say YouTube is not available in this region. If the tablets connect to my Wi-Fi at the house I have no issues. I've already cleared the data and cleared the cache of the YouTube app on both tablets checked my geolocation, toggle the location on and off and rebooted the tablets with no success. I uninstall the YouTube app and reinstalled and it still doesn't work.  Im assuming  it's related to my IP address that I'm getting from koodo that's showing up in Montreal. Has anyone experienced this issue and if so what did they do to resolve it thank you.

I need to pay my due billing but I am unable by receiving a 500 error page. I have tried several times at different hours and this doesn’t work.I am outside the country, cannot call. I am using a Canadian credit card.Please contact PM asap.

Reset Network Settings fixes iPhone for a day, only - apple says it's a Koodo problem.

We;ve had my wifes Iphone 14 pro max at the apple store twice to find out why the voice is not working all the time when she is speaking. it sounds garbled and faint when she holds the phone to her ear, until she puts in on “Speaker”. then we can hear her fine. She can always hear us fine.we “reset network settings”, based on the Apple service advice. it worked, but only for about a day, then it went back to garbled and faint when she holds the phone to her ear. but it works fine when she is on speaker.Apple says to speak to Koodo to fix, as they (Apple Store) did their diagnostics on the phone, and says it is a Network problem, the phone checks out fine.Can you help with this problem, of my wifes Koodo phone speech being gabled and faint when she holds her phone to her ear and speaks?Please let me know...thanks very muchI should have stated, that we also removed and replaced the sim, and also restarted the phone to try to fix. But the problem remains.

Does Koodo want to make a counter offer

Long time Koodo customer.  Happy with the service.  Recently offered a much improved plan from Telus as part of an employee purchase program.  Unlimited Data ( throttled after 50 GB ) for $45/mo on a bring your own device program.Because of long satisfactory relationship with Koodo, I want to see if they were prepared to offer any changes to my existing plan to induce me not to switch.  Unfortunately I cannot find any way to discuss this with a live human being.Do I just assume that conversation won’t happen and proceed to switch to Telus, or is there some way to talk with a live Customer Service person?

messages from abroad do not reach my phone

Hello everyone,I am experiencing an issue with Koodo where I am not receiving any messages from overseas, including SMS from real people or bank codes(MFA). I have spoken with the senders, and they have confirmed that they have sent the messages to me, but I have not received them. Restarting the phone does not resolve the issue. Is there a solution to this problem?

I have seen the offers for Internet Service from Koodo, and I am tempted to move away from my current provider …. but what do folks use for TV services.  Are you forced to go back the Bell or Rogers?  I have anApple TV device, does that work with Koodo?

Conflicting add-ons when activating Amazon Prime when existing Prime subsciption exists.

I have subscibed to Amazon+, Disney+ and Netflix through Koodo. When I try to activate my subscription to Amazon+, I get the error "You already have an active Prime membership on this account. Existing Prime members are ineligible for this offer”.  When I go to Prime to de-activate my Prime subscription, it also won't let me deactivate it because it says I'm subscibed through a Koodo package”. This is a vicious circle, so how do I go about this.

cannot receive calls from certain numbers

cannot receive calls from certain numbers eg Intuit; Koodo. I have tried with Call Control enabled/ disabledI went to a Koodo kiosk and the agent duplicated the issue, He said that He hadn’t seen the issue before, and gave me a number to call to talk to someone but it didn’t work as the calls from Koodo support aren’t getting through to me. I have a brand new LG Velvet phone, and my partner has a  Samsung note 9 with the same issue

SMS Not Working

Hi,I transferred my number from a different provider to Koodo about a week ago. I received and replied to the text message for the port request. Unfortunately, my text messages are not working; I can’t send or receive them. Phone calls and data are working fine though. Has anyone encountered this issue and is there a solution? Thanks!

Check when an add-on was first added

Hello,On my latest bill, there was an extra charge for device care complete that made the bill more than what it had been for the past year. I cancelled the device care, but it made me wonder when and why it was added, or if I had device care all along but it’s now a more expensive charge. I downloaded all of my previous bills, but in their .pdf form they don’t break down individual charges.Is there any way to verify how long I’ve had an add-on for?

Cant Send-Rec Texts from ONE Contact, otherwise fine

Greetings. I have Koodo, iPhone. My friend has Telus and who would know what kind of phone? She sends texts, they don’t arrive. I send texts, she doesn’t get them. She doesn’t use other messaging apps. She’s the only contact I have that this happens with. We have tried everything to resolve on our own. Stymied. Thx. SF
