Question

Why have I been double charged for switching plans?

I switched to a cheaper plan the other day and I’ve now been billed the full amount for both plans as oppose to just the new one.

I’m about to cancel Koodo in the next week, so how do I get this removed from my bill before it’s due?

Hi @dhearn2712

We see that there was a change made to the plan the first day of the new billing cycle. The bill was issued the day before the change, this is why both plans appear charged, however, an adjustment will be applied on the next bill.

More about proration you can  find here https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/proration

I hope this helps :)

Hello there,

When we leave Koodo next week, will this be refunded?

Hi @dhearn2712

A prorated credit should be reflected on the final bill.

If I cancel before my next direct debit, will It generate my final bill, so I can cancel the next direct debit and pay manually?

I want to avoid paying the $200 bill if don’t owe that much on the final bill.

Many Thanks

If you cancel your sercices by porting out to a different provider, before the next debit, the final bill will still be issued on the bext bill date (end of May).
