I signed up for easy roam while overseas. I am seeing a 10mb data charge resulting in a 100 dollar bill as well as easy roam on my account. Can this charge be reversed as I have easy roam on my account.
I can’t seem to get outgoing call display to work on my new Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5g. I had it enabled on my A8 (2018) and it says on the Koodo website that it work with this new phone. Can someone tell me how to activate.
Hi,Does “Unlimited international messaging” included texting with someone who is in the US while I am Canada? Smartcell rep who is switching my account over from TELUS to Koodoo insists that it does not yet I cannot find anything to that effect (anything about the US being specifically excluded) anywhere so what is it in reality??Thanks!
Help section mentions an unlimited call forwarding add-on for $3,but it’s not visible in the self-serve add on screen? How do I add this feature?
I am in Mexico and I need to receive calls on my Canadian number. What do I need to make this happen?
I am asking the community for help again.TLDR Summary: What is the per min call forwarding charge when one is outside Canada when one has the $3 Call Forwarding add-on and the call forward is setup prior to departure to a Canadian number? What about forwarded to a US number? Also, is incoming SMS text message free to receive while outside Canada? (regular INT Voice Roaming enabled, no EasyRoam)---I think it is a fairly common use case, that you are traveling outside Canada and want to have a way for people to reach you, while trying to reduce cost and not pay for expensive Pay per Day (EasyRoam) or ridiculously expensive Pay per Use roaming fees.A very common strategy is that before you leave Canada, you set up an unconditional call forward to a phone# that you can access while traveling. This could be a no cost or low cost VoIP service with a Canadian number like Fongo, or even in some case if permissible a US based phone number if your travel destination is in the USA.You al
I am trying to change from Telus to Koodo for a plan and buy a new phone. Koodo is adding a charge of $5 for a new Sim card, I have a Sim card with my current phone, do I need a new Sim card?
Hi there - I have a chance on my account to change to a cheaper plan. My question is what happens to my add-ons if I switch plans? It doesn't say anything about that.
I had no internet access. So I bought a cuba SIM card here in Cuba. Then went and added easy roam. Then I added my Canadian SIM card back in my iPhone. I still have no internet to text or calling. And I need to do banking and it won’t allow me because it sends security code to Canadá phone number
I have 2 refer a friend discounts. Each reference is 5 dollars each. How many times can I receive the discount? My bill is cheap becuase of this, but if there is a limit to this I would like to change to the cheaper plan that are coming out this black friday.
My daughter is currently in Europe and is unable to make any calls on her phone. She has an iphone 11, with international roaming enabled. She has pulled the sim card and rebooted the phone, but no luck. She’s on our family postpaid plan.Koodoo support are bloody useless, we struggle to understand each other, all they want to do is sell me their roaming plan. She should be able to make international calls at standards rates, but call attempts are failing with the message she’s unable to make international calls.Any ideas? thanks.
Does unlimited US add on include calls to /from Canada when in the US?
I enabled Easy Roam for a trip to the UK thinking I could use it on a day where I need lots of data.To avoid unexpected charges, I checked the website (https://www.koodomobile.com/easyroam) to see what activates it. It states the following: “The daily Easy Roam fee is valid for 24 hours, and applies when you make or pick up a call and send a text or use data abroad”.On my return, I discovered extra charges on $117, despite only actually turning my roaming on for ONE day to use the Easy Roam. It appears that Easy Roam was activated almost every day I was away. My roaming was OFF for the entire duration apart from one day.Having followed this up with Koodo, they said the charge can be activated even if you receive a text message or call without answering it. This is different to what the site above says, and the guy on the phone even admitted this appears to be a discrepancy to what the website says and what is actually the case. Despite admitting the website information is wrong, he co
Hi,I would like to setup conditional call forwarding. I have two questions:1 - The “call forwarding” add-on is not listed under the “manage add-ons” page. Why is the add-on not available? Also, I did try setting up call fwd by dialing *61* *62* and *67* codes, but I get an error message (perhaps because the add-on is not active on my account?)2 - Is the call forwarding add-on required in order to setup conditional forwarding? Maybe it’s just required for unconditional forwarding? Thank you
I have family in Australia who want to communicate using texts as well as send pictures. I have "unlimited" international messaging (text and pictures) but I'm not sure what that actually means. Can I receive texts and pictures from Australia for free or does it cost me? And can I send texts and pics to Australia from Canada for free?
Recently purchased an iPad Pro, and was surprised to go to the Koodo store and be told that I cannot get a tablet plan without purchasing a tablet from Koodo on top of the iPad I already have. Am I missing something? Is there any way to get a tablet plan added to my existing postpaid Koodo account? Very disappointed!
Hello Expert,I’m trying to unlock my Contract phone from Koodo for use in Overseas (India) through Self Serve but always getting below error - Please suggest why it is so & help to resolve this.Does the phone need Koodo SIM to be present inside for this unlocking to work? Currently, it has been kept in other phone.
I had a 9 gig plan that was downgraded to 4 gig without notification. This is really bad. I am considering switching providers.

Hello Koodo Community, My question or need advice on is I am traveling and working in Ecuador for 6-8 months how can avoid expensive charges and still us my number and phone? Many thanks!!!!!
I keep getting “call failed” when I attempt to call voicemail. I can call other numbers, just not voicemail (or my own number).Sometimes I get “1H1 the client you are trying to reach is not available at this moment, please try again later”, sometimes silence then “Call failed”. Sometimes I get through, then the call fails.
When setting up my voicemail I accidentally saved muttering for my name and I’m unable to find the NAME feature in voicemail to correct it. Could someone let me know where that is? It’s not the voice message I need to change, rather, my name. Thanks
I am looking to add two of my kids to my account and add two more plans for them. But they are currently with another service provider. I’m wondering if there’s a way to keep their numbers and add them to this account at all. Or if that’s something I need Koodo specifically to answer for me. Any insight into this would be very helpful!
I need to make some calls to the US and want to use the U.S. Unlimited Minutes Add On. I will only need it for a few days so want to know if I can cancel after one month.
I am a Telus customer interested in switching to Koodo’s $15/month plan, described here: https://www.koodomobile.com/rate-plansThe messaging available is "text only". The fine print says that "Pay-per-use rates” apply for multimedia messages. How much does the pay-per-use cost, please, if I were to join this plan and send or receive MMS messages? Thanks. (Because I am not yet a Koodo customer, I do not have the ability to log in to “Self Serve” etc.)
