 I enabled Easy Roam for a trip to the UK thinking I could use it on a day where I need lots of data.To avoid unexpected charges, I checked the website (https://www.koodomobile.com/easyroam) to see what activates it. It states the following: “The daily Easy Roam fee is valid for 24 hours, and applies when you make or pick up a call and send a text or use data abroad”.On my return, I discovered extra charges on $117, despite only actually turning my roaming on for ONE day to use the Easy Roam. It appears that Easy Roam was activated almost every day I was away. My roaming was OFF for the entire duration apart from one day.Having followed this up with Koodo, they said the charge can be activated even if you receive a text message or call without answering it. Hi,I would like to setup conditional call forwarding. I have two questions:1 - The “call forwarding” add-on is not listed under the “manage add-ons” page. Why is the add-on not available? Also, I did try setting up call fwd by dialing *61* *62* and *67* codes, but I get an error message (perhaps because the add-on is not active on my account?)2 - Is the call forwarding add-on required in order to setup conditional forwarding? Maybe it’s just required for unconditional forwarding? Thank you  

 I have family in Australia who want to communicate using texts as well as send pictures. I have "unlimited" international messaging (text and pictures) but I'm not sure what that actually means. Can I receive texts and pictures from Australia for free or does it cost me? And can I send texts and pics to Australia from Canada for free? 

Recently purchased an iPad Pro, and was surprised to go to the Koodo store and be told that I cannot get a tablet plan without purchasing a tablet from Koodo on top of the iPad I already have. Am I missing something? Is there any way to get a tablet plan added to my existing postpaid Koodo account? Very disappointed!

Hello Expert,I’m trying to unlock my Contract phone from Koodo for use in Overseas (India) through Self Serve but always getting below error -  Please suggest why it is so & help to resolve this.Does the phone need Koodo SIM to be present inside for this unlocking to work? Currently, it has been kept in other phone.

I had a 9 gig plan that was downgraded to 4 gig without notification. This is really bad. I am considering switching providers.

I keep getting “call failed” when I attempt to call voicemail. I can call other numbers, just not voicemail (or my own number).Sometimes I get “1H1 the client you are trying to reach is not available at this moment, please try again later”, sometimes silence then “Call failed”.  Sometimes I get through, then the call fails.

When setting up my voicemail I accidentally saved muttering for my name and I’m unable to find the NAME feature in voicemail to correct it.  Could someone let me know where that is?  It’s not the voice message I need to change, rather, my name.  Thanks

I am looking to add two of my kids to my account and add two more plans for them. But they are currently with another service provider. I’m wondering if there’s a way to keep their numbers and add them to this account at all. Or if that’s something I need Koodo specifically to answer for me. Any insight into this would be very helpful! 

I need to make some calls to the US and want to use the U.S. Unlimited Minutes Add On. I will only need it for a few days so want to know if I can cancel after one month. 

 I am a Telus customer interested in switching to Koodo’s $15/month plan, described here: https://www.koodomobile.com/rate-plansThe messaging available is "text only". The fine print says that "Pay-per-use rates” apply for multimedia messages. How much does the pay-per-use cost, please, if I were to join this plan and send or receive MMS messages? Thanks. (Because I am not yet a Koodo customer, I do not have the ability to log in to “Self Serve” etc.)

I have an outside employee discount on my Koodo account.It looks like I am going to need to add some more data and change my current plan. I can do this online no problem, I am just curious if doing so will mean I will have to reapply for my current employee discount or will it automatically apply to the new amount?Thanks in advance!!!

Hi, I will be roaming internationally soon with a dual-SIM phone and have a Koodo postpaid plan. My intention is to buy a data-only local SIM card and use it in the second slot (EasyRoam is good sometimes but the local data SIM plans are *way* less than $13/day).Even if I am not using data or outgoing calls, would incoming SMS messages or phone calls come in to my Koodo number trigger EasyRoam? If I turn EasyRoam off, will I be charged for incoming SMS or calls if I don't answer?The roaming is in the USA and two countries in Europe. Thanks!

Is the OnePlus 8T compatible with Koodo networks? It is unlocked, but a 5G phone (I believe). 

I have a physical SIM card for my iphone and would like to use an eSim instead.  How do I get the esim voucher?  I don’t see any options for that in my account and the FAQ for esim just talks about scanning a QR code. I don’t have any Koodo QR code for an eSim so how do I get one?

I called in a couple of days ago and arranged to have my rate plan change at the end of this billing cycle. However, I just received a great offer via text that I accepted. Is my date plan still going to change at the end of my billing cycle? I don’t want it to now..

Hello, i ordered a phone from walmart online as they have the phone i wanted. It was not qualified to be added to my account through the walmart kiosk in the store because the man said,… the online is a 3rd party so he cant add it to my account and get me the more favourable deal.so,.. he said to ask Koodo if i can get the more favourable deal.  I have the $30.00 package with $10.00 add on of 2 gb.  If i was activating through a kiosk i could get the same as i have but it be 6 gb for $45.00. However if i dont get an upgrade at time of my new phone it would be $55.00. So,….  Can i get the more favourable upgrade on a bring my own phone i bought from a. 3rd party? Or does that action negate me from the deal and i can only do a standard upgrade? I find it really sleazy of koodo to offer these deals to new activations or tabbed purchases only and not have any benefits for long term existing customers who buy their phones outright through anyplace, to upgrade their o

I am a current Koodo customer.  I have a monthly plan with an additional 4GB of data as a $0 add-on.  I want to upgrade my phone.  If I upgrade my phone and keep my current plan, will my 4GB of $0 add-on be kept or will it go away?Thanks.

Hi. I’m a current Koodo customer and want to refer my wife, but her existing Freedom Mobile account is under my name and credit card (that I currently use for Koodo). How would I refer her/transfer her phone number to Koodo and still get the referral bonus, and will there be any issues? I have a plan with 500MB of data.  I wanted to switch to something with a bit more data, say 1 or 2 GB.  But the only plans being offered to me start at 8 GB.  I hate to pay for something I won't use.  I can see lots of other options when I'm not signed in, but they say you can only select plans that are offered when you're signed in.  Is there some way I can get a plan with 1-2 GB of data?
