lost phone outside Canada. i purchased a local sim & phone number ending with the same last 4 digits as that of my koodo number. can koodo activate my phone number onto this local sim? or, do i need an e-sim from koodo paying the ridiculous amount?Also, my current device is Samsung a8. I don't think it supports an esim. Is that true?

My phone just broke sadly and ive been trying to upgrade to get a new phone, the issue i have is that the site keeps telling me my account needs to be 45 days old in order to do so. Ive had this account for over a year, my bill is paid as well as my tab so i have no idea what to do from here.
So I’ve been travelling for the past 12 months internationally and now while trying to schedule a call back using Koodo Assist I found out that Koodo doesn’t even call toll-free, international or extension based phone numbers! I am currently using international phone number and enrolled in a Seasonal Hold plan which is coming to the end and I can’t even schedule a call back to my international number or talk to an agent, no option to send online message via my online account selfServe either. Has anyone had similar issues or taken this matter to next level?
I’m trying to receive notifications from my broker, but they only offer email or SMS email address notifications. When I try to put (MyPhoneNumber)@msg.koodomobile.com it never works. Is this something I have to enable? From looking at past posts it seems people are complaining about spam, so is it disabled by default?
Everytime I try making a call it says my phone is not active on my service. My balanced is paid in full so I'm not sure why it isn't working. I scheduled a call back but most likely won't receive the call. How do I get in contact with a rep as everything is automated now and no help!
I don’t mind showing up as “Unknown Name” on people’s phones, but if they set my Name/Number on their cell phone and/or home phone.. it should say my name when I am calling them. But It still shows up as “Unknown Name”. This happens on every single phone no matter what. Whenever I’m calling my boss, my friends, my sister, or when calling my mother on her landline phone. All of these people have my name in their directories, yet it still doesn’t show my name when I call.Is this some sort of feature I enabled? How do I disable it?I’ve tried calling the voicemail on my phone and looking for options.I’ve tried logging on to the koodo website looking for something to disable.I’m on a prepaid plan: $15.00 per 30 days, 3G speed.

Service in my area was severely degraded for the 25hr duration of the power outage.I'd like to know why mobile services were not available. So, my roommates and my friends all have great signal at home (Cell service signal) but i do not, and i don’t understand. The Kiosk near my house is useless and they have no idea how to troubleshoot, so i am turning here. My roommates are with Bell, they get 5/5 signal, my friends are with Telus (5/5), Rogers (5/5), Videotron (5/5), Fido (5/5) but me, with koodo… 0/5, absolutely no signal works at my house, but the moment i go outside at the street corner, it works. I am in the middle of Gatineau, Quebec, There is 5g towers just 2 streets away from me, i can almost feel the radiation keeping my coffee hot. Why the flock would i not be able to receive calls… Its a Koodo Phone too (Samsung, galaxy s20 FE) too…
I switched to Koodo and found calling out is ok, text message (in and out) works well too. But there is no reaction (ring) on my phone when others call me. They said the calling is ok but nobody answers the phone. So calling in doesn’t work well. Could you help on this issue? Thank you.
I have been using Koodo for my cell service for a few years now. I’m currently downsizing a bit and I want to cancel my landline and start using the landline phone number on my Koodo phone. How would I go about doing that?
I recently had my phone stolen and I got a new SIM card today. I did not deactivate the old SIM card, but I did register the new SIm card to my number. I’m just wondering if registering the new SIM card automatically decativated the old one (ie. can the person who stole my phone still call/use my data)?

Hello everyone, I need help, I decided to change the operator while saving the number to koodo, I changed my first number and saved it without any problems, then I decided to add the same tariff to my wife's phone and also switched from the operator to Koodo, but as soon as I changed the card from the old operator to the new one, my phone immediately stopped catching the network and the only SOS sign appeared. What I just didn’t do to fix it, maybe you have ideas what it could be? My wife’s SIM card is working, works on other phones ..
He was on a monthly paid plan and lost his phone while it was out of service and in airplane mode. No real hope of recovering it. What I’d like to do is give him my old Samsung a20 but have him retain his old number if this is possible. Could someone walk me through this?

Lost my phone, tried to have it blacklisted before I purchase a new phone with a new number. Digital Assist says I need to speak to a rep. I schedule for 9:30pm EDT. I get a reminder text that a call is coming. It’s now an hour past the time they were supposed to call and NOTHING, and no way to contact THEM. Do they want to lose my business?

After I placed an order through the koodo mobile website I started to receive scam calls and text messages that bypassed the push a button feature to continue call thing. They say they are UPS and I need to pay them. They have my full name and address. They are calling me and texting me. This is a serious problem as koodo is not protecting my information.
