Does Koodo have plans to offer watch plan since competitor Virgin has started offering one? I have an Apple Watch and would gladly switch if it’s offered.

My boyfriend is in drumheller penitentiary and he's been trying to call me through a collect call but my phone doesn't even ring or let me know anyone is trying to call me collect  is this a setting I can change on my phone or possibly something to do with my plan? Thanks.

Hi,I am travelling to the US with my family and would like to be able to text as needed.  But the 11/day seems crazy where it might only be a couple of texts over the course of the vacation.I see there’s a 10/100 texts for pay per use option - how do I ensure I use that instead so I’m not charged 11/day to send one text?Is there another option that would make more sense? TIA

Im going to go to the Philippines for a vacation for 2 months. If I top up my account there, would the server allow me to do that? Also, how long since my last top up will the card be deactivated?

Previous Plan:100 MB dataAdd-on: 250 MB for $2/monthChanged Plan to:2 GB dataAfter I verified the plan changed in my account I checked my usage: 0 / 2GBI then noticed the 250 MB add-on was still on my account. Since I don’t need that add-on anymore and no longer want to be charged for it, I removed it. After I verified the add-on was removed I go to usage and it shows: 0 / 1.7GBIt looks like removing the add-on after changing my plan incorrectly removed data from the base plan of 2GB. Obviously, I would like my data to be set back to 2GB as per my plan and not be charged the $2 for the 250 MB.Thanks...

I'm waiting for my new phone it's being delivered by UPS and all of the sudden now the tracking says this. Does anyone know what this means? 

My Cell is with Koodo, but I also have a landline with Telus. I used to be able to call my cell from the landline when I couldn’t find my phone. (I live by myself) But now it goes straight to voicemail on cell, doesn’t even ring. I spent some time with Telus tech support and both phones are in working order. Telus says the problem is with the cell. So after spending 40 mins on hold ( unable to stay on hold at the time) the tech I was talking to said that the phone needs to be reset and he was going to put me on hold with a different tech, who could reset the phone. So I am wondering if there is a simple solution or get another call back from Koodo? Thanks,Wendylea

Hi - I got a text saying my phone (Samsung Note 9) will not work with US partners after July 1st. This phone is 4G / LTE  so why did I receive this text?

HiSeems the shutdown by the US of 3G service effective 1 July 2022, has been news since February of 2022. Any reason why some are just hearing about this now?  Just 3 days before Canada Day? Someone trying to start a run on the purchase of 4G or 5G phones?From what I understand if I stay with 3G I will be able to communicate with my fellow Canadians. Just so happens my Koodo number has popped up on an American real estate call list. They think I live in Georgia, USA. So I have been getting calls and texts from all over the States for over 6 years! If I stay on 3G in Canada, will this block all incoming US calls and texts to my phone? Furthermore if these bad actors are working from another country and using spoofed US numbers, will my 3G phone still get these texts and calls?See. This morning I received a message from Koodo:  You are currently using a 3G phone that connects to 3G networks. This means you’ll no longer be able to use data, text or make phone calls- including 911 when roming in the U.S.But I am pretty sure that my mobile supports 4G LTE, it is just not supporting VoLTE (because I can’t see such option in the data network setting, and my mobile model is also not in the VoLTE list).And what is mentioned in koodo webiste: https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/3gshutdownUSis confusing, from the information provided there I am not sure if I can roam in US with 4G LTE but without VoLTE.  Does any body know the answer? I was looking to upgrade plans and one is 20GBs at 4G LTE speed and another is 20GBs at 4G speed, I asked a rep over the phone and she didn’t sound like she knew, just said that they’re “pretty much the same”, obviously if they’re giving you the option between 1 or the other then there is a difference, is one better than the other?

Hi,I am traveling outside Canada and I added roaming service but unfortunately I can’t connect to a network (no network) so I can’t receive any call or messages, so do anyone have any Idea what I could do!

So I made a mistake of adding roaming boosters on my prepaid account and then found out that I couldn’t even use it since it’s only available in Canada and USA (only found out when I got to my destination), so now I don’t really know what options I have for either converting to postpaid or something since I need my number to be able to do my online banking since they don’t send 2FA on like an email or an app authenticator p.s. it’ll be awhile before I get back into Canada

I recently started volunteering at a crisis line. During out shifts calls are forwarded to our phone numbers via a private line. Callers call a public number, select 1 to access the crisis line, and then are patched through to us. However when I am on call the calls are blocked - it says "Sorry the line is busy" even though I'm not on the phone on my end.  How can I solve this problem? 

Hi,I am on a Koodo Plan for Canada, but I will visit Turkey soon. I was wondering whether it is possible for me to receive SMS messages from Canada when I am there.I am not planning to use my Koodo Sim Card actively when I am there. So, I do not want to pay daily for some extra international service for weeks, but I will definitely need to receive messages for connecting to some of my online accounts for dual authentication. Would you be so kind as to inform me about this?
