I am ordering (upgrading) to a new phone on line. When I get the SIM is already active?

When you upgrade your phone,the new phone will be shipped with an inactive SIM.
You can choose to put the old SIM into the new phone (if it fits) or switch the SIM folllowing this https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/koodo-sim-support
