I just signed up for the new koodo home internet but when trying to set up the modem it says I need a telus connect account. In order to make this I need a telus # or telus account. Where would I get this information? My koodo numbers are not working.
I’m looking to buy a phone and wondering which frequencies and bands are supported by Koodo.I’ve found this page - it is somewhat useful in that it lists the frequencies, however for the 700 MHz frequency I am wondering which bands Koodo uses. I see here on this 2018 site that phones on Koodo and Telus must support bands 12,13,17, and 29 in the 700 MHz frequency range, however many phones are missing one or more of these (usually 29). I’m not sure how important 29 is anymore. Is this page even current and correct? Can someone provide some current and definitive info?

I have just purchased a Wireless Home Phone ZTE WF723CA to replace the Bell POTS. The line was fully activated the last couple of days. I have power cycled the device. When on standby, the signal and strength indicator shows colour green and full bars (LTE network). However, as soon as I am making or receiving a call, the indicator shows colour orange and full bars (UMTS network, according to the manual).Shouldn’t the indicator stay green during calls?
I have recieved the same amber alert for the whole day even if I acknowledged in multiple times. Anyone else having this problem?
I have been getting a series of very offensive calls and texts over the last few months - some of these seem automated/AI and others are somewhat personal. I have put unknown calls to voicemail and blocked each number, but they keep appearing under new numbers. Is there anything else that can be done?
I'm unable to connect my PS Portal to my PS5 via my Koodo Mobile Hotspot. Has anyone else had this issue and solved it? The device works fine on traditional WiFi and other networks.
Good evening,I am trying to active RCS chats on my Pixel 7 but that status continues to say: Setting Up - Trying to verify number.I tried to troubleshoot however I am unable to find the option that sends me a verification code.Any help would be appreciated.Thank you.
I’m wondering if the The Samsung Galaxy S23 has dual SIM capabilities, supporting Nano-SIM and eSIM or Dual SIM (2 Nano-SIMs or 2 Nano-SIMs + eSIM)?
I’m a Koodo customer but I can’t get my phone number to transfer to my new iphone 15 Plus from the android phone it’s replacing. Managed to transfer files and such but can’t set up the cell# during setup or with settings. Do I need to buy a an Esimcard to do this or is there one already in the phone? Lost in Halifax.
Hi, I have tried various troubleshooting with no luck like resetting this and that.I switched from Fido to Koodo, and I was with the rep at a physical store. He helped transfer the number, so I was able to get calling working. The transfer seem to work. I received the fido message to transfer, but looking around the community, I was suppose to get a Koodo welcome message and didn’t receive that. I made need support to look at what’s wrong.
I ported to Koodo on Friday and wifi calling will not activate on my iPhone. Returns an error saying to contact Koodo to allow.
I am traveling outside of Ca/US. I am receiving voice messages into my phone but when trying to access those, I am asked for a password. I tried my pin for password but it keeps saying ‘invalid entry’. Now my voice mailbox is locked from too many trials. How do I reset my voicemail password, unlock the account, and access the messages? FYI, it never asked me for a password when I was inside of Canada. Is it only a roaming feature?
My mobile data was hit or miss after I received a new sim card. A lot of websites simply refused to load. After doing some research I came to the conclusion some of the settings were erroneous.MMSC = http://aliasredirect.net/proxy/koodo/mmsc on the site, however if you remove the koodo part it’s one of the corrections. Also changed APN protocol to just IPv4. Very happy with the service now.Hope this helps those with similar issues.
I need to talk to someone about my activation. I did not want my number changed but my account has a completely different number than the one I want transferred over. I do not want to instal my new sim card in the fear that my old number will be lost forever. Thank you

AS the title suggests, my WiFi calling just stopped working on my galaxy S21. It was working flawlessly for months and just quit. I’ve cleared cache, restarted phone, reset WiFi, but still nothing.Has anyone else experienced this issue?
3 days old Samsung S23 FE purchased to replace my aged S20 FE 5G because the 5G never did worked on that phone. Quite happy with this new phone EXCEPT I need WiFi Calling, ie: VoLTE. Apparently this “upgraded” phone doesn’t include this feature. Does Koodo have to activate this for me? There on no answers to this on Self Serve and no apparent way to contact a tech support person.Anyone have any ideas?
I was at the store on Nov 27 and the rep helped open my Koodo account and ported two lines from Fido to Koodo. I only noticed yesterday that I haven’t been able to receive text messages all this time. People can receive my texts ok but I didn’t receive any of their messages. I tried all the troubleshooting steps and nothing works. Need help please. Data and calling are ok.
I am from Ontario but currently living overseas. I am returning home to take up a new job and I am trying to sign up for a new service with Koodo.I did the initial online process of picking my plan/phone etc and it was accepted/charged to my card.I then got an email saying that the process is stalled as I need to schedule a callback to verify my information.Koodo specifically says they won’t call an international number and I do not have a Canadian number as I have been overseas for a number of years.I have tried emailing but received no response. Can anyone let me know what info they might be trying to verify, how they do so, and if it would be possible to do so via email and/or authorize someone else (a family member residing in Canada) to verify information on my behalf? Thanks!
Hi I signed up online on 27th November and ordered a sim . I have the Samsung S20 FE 5G 5G phone and switched to a 5G plan. From others that already posted there is no fix?Correct? My question is that if the issue does not get resolved what happened to my speed….I switch away from my plan with speed boost ( thinking I was going to get 5G speed)….I see 4G/ LTE and LTE plus( top 4G speed?) show up on my phone. Does anyone have an answer? Have i lost speed not having speed boost? thanks!
