Hello!

I’ve switched to the new 5G plan, but the phone still shows LTE or LTE+ only.

I’ve done so far:

  1. Rebooted the phone
  2. Reinserted the sim card
  3. Reset network settings
  4. Turned airplaine mode on and off.

The phone is fully updated. It shows 5G selected under Preferred network type, but it shows only LTE under data network type when I dial *#*#4636#*#*.

Any suggestions how to fix it?

If anyone has the same problem, schedule a Koodo callback. The rep  had to manually disconnect and connect my service from the tower, and it fixed the issue.
