Koodo is the worst mobile operator I have ever seen world wide!!! I had to travel outside of Canada for 8 months but I had to kept my phone number on this special deal for only 10$ a month where the phone is off but it is still under my name. So all good, I went to Europe.  8 moths later I am back to Canada and my credit score is AMAZINGLY Fu**ed because of those Trudeaus . Koodo team didn't pull the money which was on authorized payment and instead of sending me an Email Koodo had sent me text messages on my stopped phone,funny eh, so for 80$ my car insurance  and everything else went to the sky. And here is why - because of somebody else’s mistake I became a bad creditor so for this 80$ you affect all my business!  I tried to call Koodo, after one hour waiting on the line, finally I had to speak with an agent. Without saying anything, it put me on hold. After another 2 hours on hold I left the conversion. I scheduled a call from the chat-bo

When I created my Prepaid Koodo account I lived in one city & now I’ve moved to another. When I call someone they see my CallerID still referring to the old city and often don’t answer because they don’t know anyone from there. How can I change the city that appears or the CallerID details in general for a prepaid account?

I’m using Koodo prepaid in the US so I’ve purchased a block of texts. They are being eaten up by repeated and regular texts to “7723”.  The Usage report also notes that the Destination Location is “Prod1”.What are these and how can I stop them?Thanks in advance for your help.EDIT: I’ve Denied access to these 3 apps that had permissions to use texts: Phone, Google, Google Play Services. Only remaining apps with SMS permission are Textra and Garmin (I guess so I can send a text reply from my Garmin smartwatch).

I have been in the $45 prepaid plan. Today I topped up $55 in order to get a bigger prepaid plan. I didn't change the plan yet.  After I topped up ,I found the regular monthly plan is a better deal and  I wanted to switch to the regular monthly plan of $50 12Gb. I haven't done that either... Because  What can I do with the$55 in my prepaid account balance?  Being wasted?Thank you for your help? By the way, my daughter is also in a prepaid plan , if that can help. 

Recently switched to Koodo prepaid for talk & text.  Plan says it includes unlimited international text & picture messaging.  Problem I’m having is that unable to receive pictures and send pictures.  Is there a setting I’m missing?   HELP going insane trying to figure this out.  (Had same service with another carrier, and was able to receive and send pictures, no data plan).

Hey everyone! Years ago, it was possible to buy a SIM card without a plan and simply charge it up with money whenever needed. Then you’d just use that up until you re-filled it again. Anyone know what I’m talking about?  I tried looking this up, but it seems like nowadays there’s no such option and everything involves a plan. I just need a temporary SIM card to give my mom who’ll be visiting from out of the country. That way, she’d be able to contact me without any roaming charges on her European SIM. 

My wife and I each have our own Koodo phone (2 phones) but we are making changes to our email arrangements. Now we have one shared email address. I changed my user profile and login is OK but my wife’s profile is not accepted bcos the email address is already in use. Of course, it is. So, how can I change her user profile or should I leave it as is and Koodo can’t contact her?

2 days ago I bought a Koodo phone and have been trying since to activate the sim card that came with it. Everytime I get up to the payment step, I press finish and activate and the page does not move forward, only refreshes. I've tried with both my credit and debit visa vard. Even went to the store to buy top up vouchers and it still won't work

Just got a new pre-paid account and sim with a temporary phone number. I would like to transfer my old number to my new sim.  I have registered in koodo Pre-paid with my new number. How do i transfer my old Koodo number?

I just switched from Prepaid to Post paid. 2 questions:I am in the middle of the billing cycle for my prepaid, can I get a refund/credit? I was using automatic top-up. Is that automatically shut off now or do I have to do something? I tried going into my prepaid self-serve, but can no longer access it, understandably.Thanks.

Trying to find out if my phone is open to kodo

I was a Koodo prepaid self serve customer and I switched my phone to Fido last month. Is it possible to claim back my balance of my original account?I switched my phone right after I had paid for the koodo base plan so can I claim that money back as well?Who I should go to for help if I want to solve these problems? Thank you.

Can I use a koodo prepaid sim with an iPhone 5

Hey,  Trying to register a new SIM card with my phone number, had to get a new phone.  It’s a prepaid. The verification code never gets sent to my email (double checked it’s the right one) , and I can’t get it via text cause my phone is busted.  Have no idea what to do

I’m new to prepaid plans and just activated one (Oct 21) for talk only (100 min). On the account it says Payment Due: Nov 20, 2021. I assumed prepaid plans mean you pay for the service that you need only when you need it, this due date seems like I have to pay every month just like on contract/postpaid plan.Do I need to pay every 30 days even if my minutes have not been used up ?Can I top up only when I have no minutes left past the 30 initial days ?What happens on day 31 if I don’t top up ? Do I loose my left over minutes ?

I am activating a new sim card and porting my old number to Koodo prepaid, but when I press “activate”, it wont process. I press the “activate” multiple times but nothing happen. However, my credit card was charge  7x. Now I am frustrated and planning to dispute this to my bank. How can Koodo charge me Multiple times and NOT successfully making my account? I also attached a screen shot of my bank transaction history, I have 7x pending transaction. 

Hello, I have a prepaid account an it was working fine until I stopped receiving calls and only got voicemails. I tested it out an called myself on my husbands phone. Can’t even see missed calls. Can’t even make phone calls when connected to the wifi, which I guess is normal with prepaid? I tried everything from taking the SIM card out, airplane mode etc. Nothings working. 

I have two Koodo prepaid and one Koodo monthly number and I would like all three numbers to be on one bill, either Telus or Koodo. What is the best way of doing this? Are there deals or data sharing?

Dear all, I am a new international student trying to setup my first local phone number. After a long search, I have decieded to make Koodo my service provider. However, it seems like it requires a local credit/debit card to do that. But do request a local banking account, they ask me to provide a local contact number…Is there any other way to activate my sim card? I already bought one from Best Buy and have it delivered to me.Thank you!

Hi, I’ve got an iPhone that is really messed up.  Sending/Receiving texts & voice calls are not working properly.  Is there a number I can call to get this resolved ASAP?  I think there is something wrong with the connection to Koodo.  Carrier settings maybe?  Is there somewhere on this site that I can find the required settings I need to have in my phone? Here are the details from the test I have done this morning:Receiving texts:Slow to receive texts from iPhone. Not immediate – takes minutes.Receiving texts from Andriod, but likely very slow. Cannot test because I don't have an Android phone beside me. Sending texts:Sending texts is extremely slow and failes with “Not delivered”. Receiving phone calls:From another iPhone it doesn't ring and goes straight to VM.From landline it does not ring and does not go to VM. Please help.

I am on a talk only post paid plan for $20 per month, but I wish to keep my number and change to a pre-paid base plan for $15 and then add a gig of data for $30, just in case I need some extra data, as I rarely use my phone. Do I need to change SIM cards? Can I do it over the phone, or should I visit a store? Is there still such a thing a post paid versus pre paid SIM cards or are they all the same now?

I have spent days trying to get to my bill to see it. Now overdue. I know how much it is but I don't have account # to set up at bank. Selfseve keeps telling me my info is wrong.  (Pre paid).  Once I had computer to help halfway had to get human in turn had to try many different things to get me in and said I should not have another problem. That was over a week ago before my bill was due. Now I can't even get to the computer to get human. I'm really frustrated and ready to go elsewhere. Never had this problem in my life paying a bill. I just want it sent to me either by paper or email. Is that possible also. So how do I get my account number plz. Desperately lost in computer space. Phyllis 

Sorry, I guess this is an odd topic, but thought I’d ask regardless. I am trying to port an existing phone number setup on a prepaid Koodo plan. I am told that once I port that number, my account gets cancelled (along with all the prepaid Boosters I have). I was hoping to port the number but NOT cancel the account. I was hoping to buy another Koodo SIM and setup on this account. Based on a call with Koodo, the only option is to port, which will cancel account. I am simply trying to keep my Koodo prepaid account active wfter I port and setup a new phone number on a new SIM. Koodo is happy to have me simply leave, which I will do if there’s no solution for this. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

I have a prepaid plan. Basic stuff, nothing fancy. I pay $25/mo+taxes  (every 30 days which keep shifting my expiration date earlier and earlier), and my current expiration date was SEP-02. I MADE A PAYMENT ON SEP-01, and yet my online account is showing that my account is SUSPENDED,  because of “insufficient funds”, even though my account BALANCE CLEARLY SHOWS $25!!! So I PAID AGAIN on SEP-02, ANOTHER $25, and the system said “suspension lifted” or “account restored” or whatever the message says. But I go back to my account and IT STILL SAYS “SUSPENDED”, and now $50 IS IN MY BALANCE!!! WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON???? 

This afternoon I was able to login to prepaid while away from home.  Trying it from home this evening isn’t working and the automated help is all but useless, e.g. it doesn’t even recognize my phone number and I know it works because I just used it to call my home phone.
