I have been having problems receiving phone calls from certain contacts - where it won’t ring on my end and just send the person straight to my voicemail without ringing. I’ve check all possible settings on my phone and am now led to believe it might be an issue with my sim card. I am a prepaid customer and already have an account. I’ve gone and bought a new prepaid sim. Before I do the steps to change my sim card, do I have to do any sort of activation of the new sim or can I just pop the number in the change box and follow the steps from there?
How much is charged if I switch to prepaid mid-cycle of a postpaid plan?
I’m wondering if there is a way to convert my U.S. Roaming Data Booster into regular data booster (Canada)?I expected that when I run out of Canadian data boosters that the U.S. data booster would be used. But it’s not. I know that boosters don’t expire as long as I have my account. But I don’t expect to travel to the U.S. anyway.Thanks for your help.
I purchased a 50$ koodo voucher to top up my daughters prepaid account. I tried dialing *611 and it always drops and says call failed. I tried taking out the Sim and it still would not connect. This method is how we have topped up her account in the past. When I try to set up a self serve account it ways the phone number is invalid or already has an email signed up. Neither my partner or I remembers ever setting this up. Any ideas on what we can try?
I travelled from Canada to another country in January 2021 and plan to return to Canada within the next few days. I topped up my prepaid sim a few times throughout the year to try and keep my number active, however, when i try to log into the selfserve website it says there is an error and if i try to change my password there is also an error with my email. I assume this is because my account was deactivated, since i still have the sim card is there any way i could reactivate it online and get my number back before i travel? Thanks in advance!

Koodo is the worst mobile operator I have ever seen world wide!!! I had to travel outside of Canada for 8 months but I had to kept my phone number on this special deal for only 10$ a month where the phone is off but it is still under my name. So all good, I went to Europe. 8 moths later I am back to Canada and my credit score is AMAZINGLY Fu**ed because of those Trudeaus . Koodo team didn't pull the money which was on authorized payment and instead of sending me an Email Koodo had sent me text messages on my stopped phone,funny eh, so for 80$ my car insurance and everything else went to the sky. And here is why - because of somebody else’s mistake I became a bad creditor so for this 80$ you affect all my business! I tried to call Koodo, after one hour waiting on the line, finally I had to speak with an agent. Without saying anything, it put me on hold. After another 2 hours on hold I left the conversion. I scheduled a call from the chat-bot. Later the same day I had a call from Koo
When I created my Prepaid Koodo account I lived in one city & now I’ve moved to another. When I call someone they see my CallerID still referring to the old city and often don’t answer because they don’t know anyone from there. How can I change the city that appears or the CallerID details in general for a prepaid account?
I’m using Koodo prepaid in the US so I’ve purchased a block of texts. They are being eaten up by repeated and regular texts to “7723”. The Usage report also notes that the Destination Location is “Prod1”.What are these and how can I stop them?Thanks in advance for your help.EDIT: I’ve Denied access to these 3 apps that had permissions to use texts: Phone, Google, Google Play Services. Only remaining apps with SMS permission are Textra and Garmin (I guess so I can send a text reply from my Garmin smartwatch).
I have been in the $45 prepaid plan. Today I topped up $55 in order to get a bigger prepaid plan. I didn't change the plan yet. After I topped up ,I found the regular monthly plan is a better deal and I wanted to switch to the regular monthly plan of $50 12Gb. I haven't done that either... Because What can I do with the$55 in my prepaid account balance? Being wasted?Thank you for your help? By the way, my daughter is also in a prepaid plan , if that can help.
Recently switched to Koodo prepaid for talk & text. Plan says it includes unlimited international text & picture messaging. Problem I’m having is that unable to receive pictures and send pictures. Is there a setting I’m missing? HELP going insane trying to figure this out. (Had same service with another carrier, and was able to receive and send pictures, no data plan).
Hey everyone! Years ago, it was possible to buy a SIM card without a plan and simply charge it up with money whenever needed. Then you’d just use that up until you re-filled it again. Anyone know what I’m talking about? I tried looking this up, but it seems like nowadays there’s no such option and everything involves a plan. I just need a temporary SIM card to give my mom who’ll be visiting from out of the country. That way, she’d be able to contact me without any roaming charges on her European SIM.
My wife and I each have our own Koodo phone (2 phones) but we are making changes to our email arrangements. Now we have one shared email address. I changed my user profile and login is OK but my wife’s profile is not accepted bcos the email address is already in use. Of course, it is. So, how can I change her user profile or should I leave it as is and Koodo can’t contact her?
2 days ago I bought a Koodo phone and have been trying since to activate the sim card that came with it. Everytime I get up to the payment step, I press finish and activate and the page does not move forward, only refreshes. I've tried with both my credit and debit visa vard. Even went to the store to buy top up vouchers and it still won't work

I just switched from Prepaid to Post paid. 2 questions:I am in the middle of the billing cycle for my prepaid, can I get a refund/credit? I was using automatic top-up. Is it possible to claim back my balance of my original account?I switched my phone right after I had paid for the koodo base plan so can I claim that money back as well?Who I should go to for help if I want to solve these problems? Hey, Trying to register a new SIM card with my phone number, had to get a new phone. It’s a prepaid. The verification code never gets sent to my email (double checked it’s the right one) , and I can’t get it via text cause my phone is busted. Have no idea what to do
I’m new to prepaid plans and just activated one (Oct 21) for talk only (100 min). On the account it says Payment Due: Nov 20, 2021. I assumed prepaid plans mean you pay for the service that you need only when you need it, this due date seems like I have to pay every month just like on contract/postpaid plan.Do I need to pay every 30 days even if my minutes have not been used up ?Can I top up only when I have no minutes left past the 30 initial days ?What happens on day 31 if I don’t top up ? Do I loose my left over minutes ?
I am activating a new sim card and porting my old number to Koodo prepaid, but when I press “activate”, it wont process. I press the “activate” multiple times but nothing happen. However, my credit card was charge 7x. Now I am frustrated and planning to dispute this to my bank. How can Koodo charge me Multiple times and NOT successfully making my account? I also attached a screen shot of my bank transaction history, I have 7x pending transaction.
Hello, I have a prepaid account an it was working fine until I stopped receiving calls and only got voicemails. I tested it out an called myself on my husbands phone. Can’t even see missed calls. Can’t even make phone calls when connected to the wifi, which I guess is normal with prepaid? I tried everything from taking the SIM card out, airplane mode etc. Nothings working.
