Hi,Any reason why I can’t use a tablet plan on an old phone?Looking for my kid to allow imessage and FindMy using an old iPhone.
So my prepaid plan auto-renewed. On the same day, I changed my plan and was again charged, essentially being charged twice. Am I just out of luck for picking a bad day to renew, or should I be reimbursed for my original plan that I'm no longer on?
A few days ago I went to the Telus Shop in Vancouver and told by the Rep there that my then-Public Mobile plan is 3G and I should switch to Koodo. He said Public Mobile offers 3G and Koodo offers 4G, which is much faster brah brah. I believe what he said and joined the Koodo 4G plan for $55 (but only need to pay $40 for 24months) for 8GB data plus other service. My number was transferred on the spot from Public Mobile to Koodo, and so as my husband account on the next day at home. Then I opened the Public Mobile webpage finding out there are 4G data plans available and the plan coverage is better at the same price, 15GB data plus service for $40. I feel like I was cheated by the Koodo rep at the shop and want to cancel everything he arranged to me and my husband and use the Public Mobile again. Is there anyone knowing where and how to deal with this kind of problem? Is it possible to get back to Public Mobile with the previous account details? Much appreciate if anyone could solve th
Hello, I am on a great plan that I love right now, in which it’s unlimited Canada talk and text, and 2GB Data for $37.5 per month. I would really like to add another line for my daughter on the same plan, ideally also with a tab to include a refurbished iphone 12. However, using self serve, it seems that since checking just a few days ago no matter if I go through the new phone or BYOP does this plan im currently on seem to exist anywhere. In fact, theres nothing even close to it…. it’s only 35$ with pay per use data, or it jumps right up to $55 per month with 8GB. That is more data than she’d ever need in a month, How can there be NO plans for 1-3 GB of data?? Am I just SOL here? thanks
As the title states, I’m wondering where SIM cards are mailed from? Ours has been in the mail a full week and we still haven’t received it. Canada Post is usually quicker than that for us, even when it’s coming from across the country...
I’m going to go to another country for three months, so how can I temporarily suspend my SIM card and to reuse it after I come back?
Looking to add on a $15 Tablet plan.Wondering if I can share the 4 gig of data with my phone plan.
My grandmother recently passed and we had setup the Koodo account in her name. How do I go about getting the account ownership changed to myself or her husband (my grandfather)? We want to keep the account active as my grandfather uses the cellphone.
How can I stop my Koodo mobile services? I don’t need it anymore. Thank you
Pm if you lost a phone (iPhone 14 128g) I have the sin number
I see that Port Renfrew now has cell service but only of you are with Rogers/Fido. Does anyone know if we can expect Koodo service in Port Renfrew anytime soon?
Hello.I am looking to purchase a new phone, new plan, new sim, all that fun stuff. I am wondering if I need to start paying it as soon as I receive it or will it wait until I activate/set it up? is there a limit to how long I can wait? I currently have a phone through a line under my ex’s account, and he refuses to separate it for me so I am going to have to just buy a whole new everything and create my own account. My current phone will probably end up getting cut off because I am refusing to pay it unless my ex finally agrees to separate my line and let me have my own account with this current SIM and number. I just don’t want to end up having to pay for both my current phone and the new phone I am looking to purchase at the same time.
My voicemail just rings when i get calls, not going to voicemail
Is there a tower down in West Kelowna? Getting little or no reception from our location...has not been an issue in the past. Effecting both cell phones. Cannot have a conversation without the recipient complaining the call is broken up if we are able to connect at all.
my plan includes international calls but everytime i try to, it says that i should call 611 to fix it, can anyone tell me what i am doing wrong? thank you!
Hello, I was wondering if I order a new phone, and plan online - would my current phone number with Koodo be carried over to this new phone/sim card I purchase? I hope that makes sense. Thank you for all your assistance.
I traveled out of the country for 1 month and I see a charge of $180 (with taxes) on my bill; upon calling Koodo customer care and explaining them that I and my wife did not make any calls, Koodo insisted that they see calls/voicemails were made.. after speaking for more than 90 mins, they were ready to waive $40, and then when I said “we never made any calls or checked our voicemails”, they decided to waive $58 (instead of $40)I am trying to understand how I can get my other $122 back, and who I should reach out to; as Koodu rep said there is no one else who can helpI am very disappointed with the overall experience
Hello there,I have a question regarding my current account. I still have a remaining tab balance of $480, which I am scheduled to pay off over the next 15 months. Additionally, I have a Tab Bonus balance of $226.20. As a loyal Koodo customer for over nine months, I am interested in paying off my remaining tab balance in one lump sum payment. However, I am unclear about what would happen to the remaining Tab Bonus balance if I choose to do so. I was informed that if the Tab Bonus balance is over three months old, I can pay off the remaining tab balance without having to pay the Tab Bonus balance. Can you please confirm if this is accurate or if there are any other factors that I should consider? Thanks
I wanna cancel some add-ons with me prepaid plan. But I can’t find the “Manage add-ons” link in the prepaid self service. I can only find the purchase add-ons link.Does anyone know how to solve it?
There is IMEI2 which is the eSim with other service provider, and there is IMEI, which is for the physical Sim, but is not used and is empty. I cannot use the account number as there are multiple lines on that account with the other service provider.
I upgraded my plan recently so I would qualify for Koodo tab on a new phone. After I switched over the promotional data add-on I purchased in February disappeared and I now have less data than before. I am now paying more money for less data per month.
I just received the SIM and I insert to the phone. It said SOS only. please help to reconnect my SIM. Thanks!Solved by using another new SIM card and changed SIM number
There is $15/unlimited calling in US but there are some exclusions. Would area code 719 in Colorado Springs be excluded? If so, what’s the best plan? I live in Canada. What about unlimited texting?
I am abroad and used data for Google maps. I see that the charge is $5/mb, so I'm wondering if I should now sign up for easy oam. If I sign up now, will I still have to pay $5/mb for the data I've already used today?
Hi there, I was travelling in mexico for a month and used an e-sim while away. I had my roaming cellular data turned off, and had the e-sim as my primary, but kept my phone number active as I still wanted to receive texts and incoming calls. From what I had read online I would only have the easy roam turned on when data was used and since I had turned this off, I assumed I would not get charged the $15 per day. Here is where I’m not clear what I did wrong. I received a 1 min phone call that I answered while away. (it was a restaurant confirming a reservation). When I got my bill, that call some how triggered the easy roam and I was charged the $15. I was under the assumption that this charge would have come through as a pay-per use . Can you provide assistance as to what I did incorrectly, and what I need to do so that this doesn’t happen again. My hunch is that I should remove the easy roam, but perhaps there are other options. Thank you!
