My daughter is there right now. I am sure that I have activated all of the roaming add-ons, yet she is still unable to get the roaming message or do anything. She has enabled data roaming on the device.Account number ***.What am I doing wrong? ***edit: removed personal info
I just switched to Koodo (from Rogers) a couple of weeks ago. Now I am finding that some incoming calls are going straight to voicemail. This is a really serious issue for me. I am missing vital calls from my doctor. I have read the various other complaints about this issue described on this community site and tried the suggested remedies. If this continues any longer I will switch back to Rogers (never had this issue with them). Shame on you Koodo/Telus for offering such an unreliable service.
Every single phone call and by that I mean every single one of them gets hung up because the other party cannot hear me. Many times it takes four or five attempts. This is the shittiest service ever. Help! Maybe I need to go to another provider.
Who else on Koodo is seeing no internet connectivity at the cedar hill x road / shelbourne intersection through to horner park (Iona Dr) It stopped working for me in this little area a week or two ago and it's still not working. Going another block or two outside this zone and it works again.My wife on Koodo is experiencing the same.
My newish Koodo phone will not Share photos, switches to airplane mode in the middle of phone conversations, butt dials people at random when no butt is involved, and will not show the dial pad when someone calls. Basically it is useless. Looking forward to a Koodo rep calling in person to help out!
Hi!I'm just wondering if there is a fee for using the wifi calling option. I'm currently on vacation in Canada but there's no cell reception. I will only make calls et send texts to Canadian numbers. I have a monthly plan with illimited calls and messages. It would make me feel safe to be able to call, but I don't want to pay additional fees... thanks!
Just trying to figure out what I did wrong when I tried to place a phone call on my new IPhone 13 Pro (replacement for an IPhone 8). I cannot send or receive calls. From what I’ve been reading in your Koodo Community I get it that it all has to do with the SIM Card. Please explain what’s happening here as it’s all pretty new to me. My old iphone will be going to my granddaughter so I’m guessing the SIM Card for that phone will stay with the phone.
I'm wondering why I can't recieve any text messages unless i have my data on. Shouldnt i be able to send and recieve calls and texts on my koodo network without having to have my data on !? That would increase my data usage and cost me way more. If this is the case, I want off the koodo plan I'm on, as it's over $80 a month and not unlimited data, it's 15 allowed but I'm already at 8 !Still not liking koodo at this time, even though this is the second chance I'm giving them. There won't be a third.
I have no clue why my data just hasnt work anymore starting 2 weeks ago. Im not on vacation or anywhere different than normal, my payments are all good, there are no red flags on my account page, but my data just doesn’t work at all for any apps. I can still call and text.
I have an 8g data plan on my iPhone SE, which used to be completely sufficient. I could use apple music, instagram, podcasts all of it. I would hit 50% a day or two before my billing cycle is over. Now my data gets choked up within days. This month I had my 50% warning sign days into my billing cycle, despite turning my data off and on due to this issue. Even with cellular data on, I don’t use Instagram or Facebook, which seem to be killer apps. Yesterday I got the 90% and 100% warnings within two minutes of each other. I used 800 kb in two minutes.I’ve seen this problem on other messaging boards, specifically from Koodo customers. I’m quite conservative with my data, 2 gs used to be enough for me. I don’t understand.And before you ask-I turned off wifi assist-I try not to download anything on data-I turned off most apps for cellular I closed maybe 300 tabs after my data was paused but most of them/maybe all of them weren’t streaming anything. If this keeps up I might switch providers
So out of the blue today my data stopped working. There is an exclamation mark next to the status bar and I cannot access anything that involves an internet connection. I tried turning off my phone, taking out the sim card and putting it back and and turning the phone back on but that didn't work. I reset the network connections in system settings which also didn't work. I set APN back to default, didn't work. I can't get in contact with Koodo about it. Had a call back set up and when they called it just rang and rang until they hung up. Tried calling the store here and couldn't get an answer. Anyone know any other options on what to do?
Hi, I recently transfered my phone number from another provider to Koodo. I have followed the steps given here. It has been several days and, while my phone number has succesfully been transfered, I am unable to receive text messages. Strangely the exception to this is that if I send a text message to someone myself, I am able to receive their reply. What should I do to get this problem fixed? Some more information that you may find relevant:-I can send text messages and phone calls just fine. I can also use my mobile data with no problem. The only problem is what I described above.-I recently tried switching my sim card back to my old one momentarily, and when I did that, the text messages sent to me which I had missed have shown up. It’s as if the text messages are still sent to me through my old provider.-I tried resolving the issue using the Koodo digital assistant, which led me to checking that my APN setting match the ones on this page. They do match and that hasn’t resolved the
Has anyone had any success with this phone?I think I’ve made a huge mistake of switching from a Samsung A20 to this phone.This A03s is slow freakin slow, I absolutely hate it.Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can make it perform better. I’m about to throw it against the wall. Thanks.
