I got an email from Koodo regarding improve security and talking about enabling MFA or 2FA, but Koodo doesn’t allow to enable that setting, at least for me I don’t have the option.
Just purchased a replacement IPhone14 for my daughter. Transferred the SIM to the new IPhone 14. The cellular settings shows my daughter’s phone number, and shows the correct apn address, but it does not connect to the cellular network. Why? How do I fix this?
Will a OnePlus 13 Global Edition will work smoothly with Koodo? Does 5G plans will work? Thanks.
Hello everyone, I am away from any towns at work in a forest. I have cell boosters around me and I have four bars of cell service on my phone. I have enabled wi-fi calling. But I can’t get any calls or call anybody. I have strong wi-fi at my location. I was not able to call through regular calling at all since I came here. How can I enable wi-fi calling if I have no service from koodo?Thank you in advance!
Is the streaming set - netflix, Disney and prime ad supported? It won't cast to my tv? I get the plan was basic with ads, but I was under the impression I could still cast it?Thanks
I recently upgraded to the s25 ultra. I notice the phone is only lasting a day. 100 percent in the morning, down to 23 percent in the evening. Is this normal? I find my old samsung to have a comparable battery. I expected a longer life.
I just upgraded my iphone to a newer iphone and have existing Koodo service but I keep getting an error message saying “cannot transfer phone number, try again later”.
Koodo Tech helped with part 1. Part 2 they said was not a Koodo problem, but I figured out a work-aroundPart 1: We live on a large rural property that has very spotty cell service of only 1 bar at most. We have a garden and sugar shack area that gets decent wifi but is still a couple minutes walk from the house. We were using wifi calling and texts to communicate between that area and the house, but calls often wouldn’t go through, although texts would. The solution for this was to enable Airplane Mode when we are home on the property, which forces the calls to use the wifi. This has worked beautifully. Thank you to the Koodo Tech working out of Rimouski who explained the issue and helped with the solution.Part 2: Although we always had wifi calling enabled, it would sporadically just stop working altogether. Texts for 2-Factor authentification services would suddenly stop being delivered, for example.I *finally* figured out that the issue would arise when we would leave home an
I did a factory reset and still not working right. Anyone else have this issue?
I’m trying to figure out which equipment I would need in order to use a WiFi signal in my RV using a device such as a Hotspot which can use the Koodo prepaid eSIM : Why prepaid ? because we use the RV only 2 or 3 months a year and I don’t want to pay monthly fees for a SIM I don’t use, so it does seem to be the best choice for the SIM/eSIM. NOW the problem is in which hotspot device do I have to install this ? And how to generate a real wifi zone in the RV in order for the smartTV, iPADs etc. to see the WiFi network and be able to connect to it. I don’t want to use my iPhone 16 pro because I have already a eSIM in it and don’t want to swap. And mostly, the Personal Hotspot it generates is only to share a cellular signal. It is not creating a wifi network.
Have spent 2 hours with Apple and with 2 different Advisors over 2 days via telephone and they have made sure that my settings are fine. I never have Software update automatically but Cellular Data, System Services say Software Data is sucking up my data. Diagnostics indicate that my phone is in excellent shape. They made an appointment for me with the Genius Bar who I am sure will ask if I talked to Koodo. Apple says they don’t have any other callers having this issue. I blew through 500 MG of a 4 GB plan in less than 2 hours yesterday, Day 3 of this period. Last month, I barely made it under 4 GB. Normally, I use between 250 and 500 MB per month. Any suggestions? Thanks, Lin
I realized I had two active netflix account and had the wrong wrong one linked to stream plus. I couldn't find any info on how to switch them on the koodo website.I called netflix and deactivated the account I don't use that is linked to the stream plus account. They advised me I would have to contact koodo to send a link to connect the correct account. I can't find any information on how to do this or any contact info for someone who can do it for me. Any help would be appreciated
Looking to set up a talk and text only package. The pre-paid yearly option I’m looking at also includes 30GB data. Is there a way to turn data off so taht we don’t go over and get charged? (other than turning off cellular data on the phone)?
I recently got a new phone. I’m able to receive calls but when someone tries to leave a voicemail, they get a “This # is not in service” message. From my end, I can get into my voicemail and hear my greeting etc so I’m not sure where the disconnect is?

ello. I am on a third party e-SIMS that doesn't include phone service. Is there another way to access Koodo voicemail?
First off: Grey haired lady here.I am using a Samsung Galaxy S23+. On Apr 17, I changed my phone plan from 40gb at 4G to 100gb at 5G. Since then I have not had any internet. I checked my Mobile Network and it was set to LTE/WCDMA/GSM (auto connect). I then tried to change it to 5G/WCDMA/GSM (auto connect) and it told me to turn off Power Saving Mode or change its settings to use 5G. I went into the battery and turned off the power saving button. I do not know where to find the settings to change it to use 5G if there is a special setting for that. For a very short while after I turned off the battery saving button, yesterday and switched it to the 5G network option, I had internet. Fast forward to today and I again have no internet at all. I went in and changed the Mobile Network to try the other options with no success. I tried restarting my phone and no success. I even checked to see if 5G was offered in my area and according to Telus it is. So I am not sure what the problem is or h
I bought my wife a new Samsung Galaxy A16 5G which works well except enabling Wi-Fi Calling which fails with error message “The number entered doesn't match our records. Please re-enter your number”. After entering number and waiting for access code the phone continually displays error message and needs to be rebooted but still does not enable Wi-Fi calling. The previous phone worked well without issue. Please advise on setting up Wi-Fi calling.
Phone was working fine on Friday Mar 28. Sat Mar 29 I could no longer call or receive calls. Everything else works fine. internet and texting all normal. When I try to call out I get no tone or ring and after about a minute I get “Network busy” and the call cancels. Very frustrating since the phone is not quite a year old and has worked flawlessly since I got it. It is a Nokia G22 running android 14.I have been to my local Koodo and Telus providers and have not gotten any answers as to why this happened. The phone is in a case and has not been dropped or abused.
I have two phones on my account. My wife can text to a 6-digit number on her Galaxy S7. My Galaxy Note 10 even after a hard reset will not text to a 6 digit number, how come?
seeking the information to login to the koodo DM1000 modem.
I bought an new iPhone 13 through Koodo 3 months ago and already my battery lasts less than a day with little usage. My phone had full battery this morning and I just read some news article and played Sudoko for max. an hour and the battery was dead at 2pm.I does not seem possible to contact Koodo online? Do I go to an Apple Store or should I try to get a hold on some Koodo rep?
I am trying to use my own router as it has more LAN ports than the Boost6 (one port only). All the guides online mention that I need to enter the Modem/Router settings and find the “Bridge Mode” setting, I have done that but cannot find this setting drop-down, anywhere! In Network Status, it shows that my Operating Mode is “Router Mode” so where can I go to change this so it says Bridge Mode ?
